Friendly service. I had a check engine light and had experienced the car going into limp mode. I also had the radiator and transmission fluids changed. The check engine light was caused by a failing high pressure fuel pump. TGK ordered a pump, but unfortunately it failed when coming up to pressure. They ordered a second one and installed it. The second pump worked as it should. TGK headed to the original quote for the expanded job. I was pleased with their integrity. I will be returning to TGK for any future work on my car.
Had a slow leak in my tire. Fixed my tire in less than 15. Let me know how much tread i had left and how long i should be able to drive before needing to replace my tires. Service was excellent and never was pressured to buy something I didn’t need. Will definitely go back.
Just had my oil changed yesterday, they are great people and communicate well with updates and recommendations if needed.
I continue to use them and you should as well.
Friendly service to a degree, terrible at getting back to you. Dropped off my vehicle anticipating a quote on a Monday. Had my vehicle dropped in advance so figured late morning if hear back end of Monday nothing.... Tuesday afternoon I called still was unable to give a quote, so I just and went and picked up my vehicle Tuesday evening to go somewhere else.
Great place. The customer service is outstanding. Best oil change service I have ever had. Affordable, thorough, tires rotated and a checkup on my car all for $60.00. If you going somewhere else for your vehicles service needs, stop now and do it at TGK. I use the Chisago City store on Old Towne Road.
Will bring my car here again. Great customer service, and an all around good shop. Had a timing belt replaced and intermittent oil leak fixed. They found oil leaking from a faulty drain plug, and before just replacing the pan they tried to save it, I appreciated the extra effort to try to save the pan. They go above and beyond!

I gotta say I had one of the best auto service experiences I can think of to date , I had a sudden tire leak and stopped in on a Saturday to try and identify the problem , turns out it was a cracked wheel and not the tire so Brandon who was assisting me pointed me towards facebook marketplace where I found very affordable rims , I made the purchase and called TGK back and Brandon answered and was willing to stay late if needed to swap my tires on to the new rims , this type of above and beyond service seperates TGK from the pack and I appreciate every bit of the care Brandon put in to make sure i was good to go on the road for the weekend , 11 out of 10 I give for this level of service!
A friend referred me to TGK when I needed my brakes serviced. TGK was prompt at getting me in and quick about responding to any inquiries I had while they had my vehicle. They didn't try to upsell me on anything; they laid out the issues with my brakes and let me decide the path to take, given my budget. Pricing felt very reasonable. And my conversations with them along the way left me feeling like they were being straight with me. You never want to have vehicle issues, but they're unavailable and I'd trust TGK with mine again.

I have only used my go to mechanic for 30 years plus..
Today I lost all power in my rig, steering was out, no dash lights, no power brakes, ac and radio cut out so I knew I had a major issue. This place was on my right hand side of hwy 8 in Chisago city . JEFF. Was super helpful and had my exploder back less than 36 hour's ...not to mention he gave me a ride home in his personal truck which is much appreciated! Thanks JEFF. Awesome customer service
Took my Audi in for service and found the issues. Spent a couple hours on diagnostics but unable to repair and they indicated one of the issues was under warranty. Advised that Intake the car to an Audi dealer for all repairs and only charged me half of the diagnostics fee. Very friendly and honest. I will return there should I have a future need! Thank you for your honesty and direction as that is not always the result with some companies!!
Honest and helpful. Zack and Jeremy were very patient. My car was there for a long time waiting for a part. The warranty company was a little bit difficult to work with, but Zack took care of everything for me. I recommend TGK Automotive for your vehicle services.
We are heading out on vacation and a couple hours from home the check engine light came on. With more driving to do and it being the weekend we called TGK as they were close and they were happy to read the codes to see what was going on. They scanned the code, told us what it said and provided recommendations. Thankfully it didn’t appear to be anything major but he gave us peace of mind. Thanks TGK!!!
I can never say enough about these guys! We bring our vehicles to them for any issues and we ALWAYS get wonderful service and great deals. We actually had our truck in for some body damage at the Collision shop next door, we ran over a huge nail and TGK hooked us up and repaired it for us while damage was being repaired. I so appreciate you guys and Zach is just over the top amazing (also the guy that sits next to him, sorry bud don't know your name, but your awesome too!) They did a great job, they diagnosed the problem and replaced my brake pads, rotors and serviced the calipers. They were affordable, informative, quick and respectful. Great service, I’d trust them to help again, if I ever need it.
Was having some issues on one of my trucks with the ac system, I tend to take a stab at things on my own with fixing things that I feel aren't too complicated,
Ended up running into a couple simple issues with the AC system that I didn't diagnose well. Zac had reached out to me on my socials and offered to have me bring the truck in quick to check it out!
Brought my truck in short notice, and they diagnosed my simple issue pretty quick! Got my system charged up and had me happy!
The short time I was waiting in the lobby, I had noticed the attention to detail and extra care that the tech answering the phone had for the customers as well.
All in all I had a great experience and am thankful for Zac and the team for getting me back on the road quick
I was able to get into the shop at a time convenient to me, quickly. Zack was a great communicator when it came to describing his understanding of my concerns. Service was done quickly and cost no more than his quote. Upon completion, again, Zack explained what was done in an understandable fashion. All team members were friendly and professional.
My wife and I where road tripping through town with our dog and I noticed during our trip I started losing air in my back passenger tire. Stopping at the KwikTrip in town I found a screw was stuck in the tread causing the leak. Now I have never been to a TGK before but my wife has and called the place in town seeing if they could take a look at the tire. Not only where they able to look at it right away, they had the entire tire off patched and mounted back on in less than 20 minutes. Also to note these arnt just some generic stock car wheels I have after market rims and lugs which they took the time to properly remove without damaging the coating on the rims. Where I dealt with place where they just want to get a job done they took the time and curtesy to carefully remove and remount my wheel. 14 years of driving and I've easily driven a couple hundred thousand miles and thankfully this was my first flat/leaking tire and I am grateful to have had it happen in a place that was able to help right away. The tire has held with zero issues for the rest of our 500+ mile round trip and I am forever grateful for saving my new tires that where less than a month old. I live 30 minutes away but if I ever need tire work done again I will most likely make my journey out to their store. Thank you again Jeremy and your team for the help and kindness.
I had a great experience. Zac was kind enough to drop me off at work. I got new tires, back brakes & an alignment. They answered every question I had & explained it completely to me. I had an oil change at TGK- Chisago City today. It was my first visit and it was the best experience I have ever had at a car service/repair shop in the past 58 years. From the courteous service at the front desk to the actual work done everything was excellent. I also really liked the customer report sent to me right after the work. It even had 8-10 photos of air filter, brake pads, and other things on my car. Very impressive and helpful!
