Autoplex in Chanhassen is an incredible community for car enthusiasts and collectors. The garages here are way more than just storage—they’re fully customizable spaces where owners build out amazing personal showrooms, workshops, and hangout spots. Every unit reflects someone’s passion, whether it’s for classic cars, muscle builds, exotic rides, or motorcycles.
I had the chance to attend one of their “Cars & Caves” events, and it was one of the most fun, well-organized car gatherings I’ve ever been to. Tons of unique vehicles, friendly owners, and a great atmosphere for families, photographers, and gearheads alike. The variety of builds is impressive, and you can tell the community really takes pride in their space.
The location is easy to get to, parking is well managed during events, and the entire complex is kept clean and secure. Whether you’re looking to store a vehicle or just appreciate the culture, Autoplex Chanhassen is worth checking out.
AutoMotorPlex is always a great experience. If you have never attended a Cars N Caves event you need to go. The cars are beautiful and the caves are very cool.
If you have money and lot cars, you'll fit right in. My friend said this is a cabin for rich people LOL so of the garages have a full living,kitchen,entertainment set up. So many beautiful cars here!
This place is so awesome can't stay away, no money to put out for parking, completely free .The garages that hold some this classic cars are so awesome, you can't believe it. People that own these classic will talk to you about their car's, some stories that I've heard from these people are so informative, like how they found these car's.
Went to Cars & Coffee w/ my Son who brought His Pontiac G8 out....The People & Staff could not have been any nicer...These garages are Amazing as are the collection of cars inside them! Cannot wait to go back, so cool to see all the different variety of vehicles on display!!! Thanks for a Great day!!!
This place is AMAZING!!! Check out the once monthly summer open house/car shows. Many of the owners open their garages to the public and it's truly spectacular. Classic cars. Super cars. TV and Movie vehicles. Each time is paired with fundraising for a worthy cause. So much to see and then lots of people will also come visit with their own fancy car to let people view.
Sometimes there are only about 12 garages open. 1/2 of those are very non personable and place ropes in front. Most of these have lesser collections then I have in my own garages at my home. They act as if they have more money and are above you. Some do but some don't.
It's become one of my personal goes to have kne of these garages for mg car club. Every garage is unique and the people there are awesome friendly and welcoming during meets!
Many car condos open for viewing as well as many non-owners showing their cars. Charity donations were accepted, but not required. A food truck with several Mexican selections and a stand with a variety of flavored popcorn were available. No one appeared "territorial" about parking spots. A very pleasant morning!
Great place to check out awesome cars. During the summer you can attend "Cars and Coffee" and see some of the most amazing vehicles and custom garages.
Cars and Coffee once a month, an excellent time to satisfy car lust. Easy to walk around and amazing garages, you never know what you may see. Very fun.
IF you're not into cars and garages, then move along. But if you love anything about motorized vehicles, then this is for you. This is where they hold Cars and Coffee every first Saturday of the month during the summer. If you've never been, you have to go. Plenty of parking around the area. Be prepared with the crowds.
Cars and Coffee is a must for any Car fanatic. Great place to interact with others, friendly environment, and free coffee and donuts! Would highly recommend.
I love the show everyone here puts on each month in the summer. Very generous of them to open their doors to let the public in. My son and I were in awe of the supercars on display!
