This place is awesome. I am a young adult and ran into helpful man named Jetli. He was super nice. I don't know much about cars, but this man helped me understand what was going on with my car. Now my car runs perfect. I would def recmond this place to any of my friends. Anyone should work or ask for Jetli.

One of the worst places I ever been to! Waste my 1200$ and a whole week! Was there for the vehicle inspection they told me to replace my breaks pads and tire. I Changed both now when I came back they told me to change my rear breaks and coolant. Because it was rear breaks not front.

Brought my vehicle in for a smart start calibration. Drove from Alexandria Minnesota to the Columbia Heights location as it was the nearest location to me on 12/26/25 that was open for calibrations. I arrived around 10:30 am with ZERO vehicle trouble or abnormal dash messages. Prior to arriving I stopped for fuel in St Cloud, turned off my vehicle during the process, and started it to resume travel to this location. I made another stop at the Bobby and Steve’s convenience store where my vehicle was turned off again as I was inside the building to use the restroom. I left the building, started my car again with ZERO issues or messages, and made my way across the street to the service location. Upon arrival, I was told by a front desk associate it takes around 30 minutes to an hour for the calibration and there was 1-2 people ahead of me. I was fine with this wait, I proceeded to hand over my keys, provide my personal information necessary for the calibration, and find a seat in the waiting area for my vehicle to be finished with service. Between 1-1:30 pm 12/26/25 I was approached by another front desk associate who asked which vehicle for smart start calibration was mine. I informed him it was a tan/brown 2007 Chevrolet Impala. He then informed me that my battery on my vehicle was completely dead(which had enough charge to start and stop multiple times on my 2 hour+ long drive), and that there was two messages appearing on the dash, one stating engine power reduced, and the other stated and issue with the throttle. He informed me that because of these messages on my dash, my vehicle would not start. I was then told a battery charger was going to be hooked up to charge the battery and hope that it resolves the issue. At around 3:30 pm, I was again approached by a front desk associate along with the the associate who was servicing my vehicle informed me that nothing they were trying was working and that I would need to have my car looked at by someone in the morning that has more knowledge. I was also informed by the service associate that the problem was “above my(referring to himself) pay grade” as well as stating that the issue was not cause by them. Upon receiving this information I had asked if there was any chance my vehicle was going to be able to move that day and I was told no. This left me stuck 2 hours from my home and I was forced to find a way back home or find a place to stay for the night. The following day, Saturday(12/27/25), I received a phone call from Bobby and Steve’s at 8:41 am. The associate on the other line stated that he had my vehicle working, however the battery for my vehicle was no longer in good working condition and needed to be replaced. I was informed it would take around an hour, as the process would likely cause the smart start system to need to be calibrated once more. I said to put the new battery in my vehicle. Upon arrival, once service had been finished on my vehicle, I was charged with a $406 bill. $199 for the battery, as well as $150 in labor for a total of $349. The rest of the charges($57) were a mixture of shop supplies, an environmental fee, and sales tax. This is completely and utterly unacceptable and I should not have had to pay a single dime. My car was in working and starting condition when I handed possession over to the associates at Bobby and Steve’s on 12/26/25. Upon completion of service provided by Bobby and Steve’s on, 12/26/25, my vehicle was no longer in working and starting condition for an issue that seemingly could have been fixed the same day. I will never bring my vehicle in for service at Bobby and Steve’s again unless it is for the warranty on the battery provided by Bobby and Steve’s. The associates at this location wrongfully charged me for an issue that I truly believe was caused and connected to the service they provided to me on 12/26/25. Avoid this place like the plague!!!

They got us in on a Sunday afternoon when the weather was biting cold. They were friendly and efficient. I’d totally go there for service in the future!!

Tried to schedule an appointment online but I was having some trouble so I called and they got me sorted. When I got there the guys were really friendly and at the end they took time to break everything down for me and even answered all my questions! Definitely would recommend!

For Starters I want to Start off By Saying Jeff’s Bobby and Steve’s Auto shop & Gas Station Establishments are Awesome I’ve Been Going To both for many years especially the Gas Station I highly recommend going to both what brought me here is to Inform Upper Management About a Employee they have working there in the evenings I believe her name is Annie she seems like a good individual but for the last few times I came to the gas station she rub me off wrong for starters she seems like she picks and choose who she likes to have good customer service with besides that it’s been a few times I than walked up to the corner and due to her being on her phone I have to initiate to get her attention besides that every time I step in the gas station which is almost every day either she sitting on the counter on her phone or just on her phone in general which is not good look for business I really like this gas station and I have a good relationships with Jeff which I feel like he should be informed about what going on at his gas station.

Jet the guy is working at the front desk at Bobby & Steve’s is one of the best coustmer service ever. They always get you in and out as fast as possible also tells you if there is any thing need to get done to the car do get you save on the road with I recommend them for sure

Clear gas is available at the center pump, center island. This is all I use in everything other than my car. No more issues with mowers and snowblowers and scooters not starting after storage. If you need gas that doesn't corrode your carb, or harden the rubber gas lines and orings this is what you want. Alcohol is awful in fuel unless everything was designed for it. That would be cars only.

I came in for an oil change and confirmed the wait time with the cashier before handing over my keys. I was told it would be about 45 minutes, but I ended up waiting over 2.5 hours. When I asked the employee who gave me that estimate about the delay, he responded rudely. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning.

It's not good experience, the car I just have it from the dealership 9 days ago and the inspection was good at the check lest, when I got to this place, they gives me an estimate cause for 3 grand. I back to my dealership again and make another check up. Everything is ok. You can understand.

Jet at the front desk was very helpful and all around great customer service as well as the technician that did the work. I will be back again in 60 days. Hadn't been there before, you fit me in, and will now book my next appointments moving forward. Great company!

That was a very great job on a part that was horrible to get to. They had to pull my exhaust system to replace my driveshaft. As a former Trained auto mechanic that understood what a pain it was. I think these employees and Jeff are the greatest and very reasonable pricing for what they did. No more rumble down the road. Mel 😁

Open 24hrs and has the basic service station/store amenities/necessities you need; including household, first aid, and auto supplies! The employees are always helpful, very welcoming and polite. 👍🏽👍🏽

I am the customer that Donta Stevenson wrote a bad review about for this business. This business was extremely honest and respectful. Donta was just angry he couldn’t scam me out of buying a vehicle and demanded me to buy his vehicle for wasting his time! Thanks to Diego and BSAW team for being honest. Came back and got another used car inspection on another vehicle and is much better condition-same price thanks again

I’m a small business/dealership and had a customer willing to buy my vehicle. He wanted to get it inspected. Being that I had just got it worked on, I had no problem with that! A Kia sadona 2016 sx. The oil pressure censor was bad. I got that fixed but the mechanic didn’t clean up the old oil from the work he did! So the worker from Bobby and Steve said he don’t see oil leaking but said it was oil on the engine and instead of telling the customer buying my vehicle, who could barely speak English that there’s no leak they tried to hustle the guy out of money or worse making sure the black man me don’t sell the vehicle! Either way shame on you Bobby and Steve’s for not telling this man the truth about it being old oil. And just trying to get 500 bucks.

My brakes failed unexpectedly on a Saturday evening while I was visiting from Arkansas. They inspected the brakes and fixed them on Sunday so I could drive home the next day. I expected a high price since the work was done on a Sunday, but the price turned out to be far less than I expected. The people were friendly and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

I come to this location, not so often but when I’m in the area, this is the only store that sells one of my favorite snacks. They gentlemen that work there are always friendly always nice. The other ladies that work there are always friendly and always nice but Tonight I came in at 9:49 PM to grab a drink and some snacks with a family member of mine. I usually check dates of on products because I’ve had ran into some expired food from other locations so my paranoia is hi, I came across the snacks that I was looking for and they were deeply expired. I’m talking March 5, 2024 expired. I didn’t cause a scene I didn’t get upset. I brought it to the clerks attention. She wasn’t African-American female with piercings and colorful dreads She wouldn’t face me. She kept her back to me looking out of the window and she wouldn’t talk to me face-to-face like an actual human being. I had to continue to talk and raise my voice, just aShe wouldn’t face me. I had to continue to talk and raise my voice, just a tad bit to get her attention to at least turn around and acknowledge me when she finally did with an attitude I expressed to her that I was gonna buy a different bag, but just to give her awareness of the expired bag and that it shouldn’t be on the shelf due to the expiration mistakes happen she then entered asked me what is it that I want her to do I expressed to her that they should not be on the shelves due to the expiration she grabs the item. She shakes her head and rolls her eyes at me and then turns her back on me again as I’m trying to check out my items but the white couple that was waiting after me I let them go first she was so sweet and so nice to them I’m not sure what her issue is, but that was a very displeasing experience coming to this location. I did speak with another young lady outside of the store and a gentleman that would give me a heads up that they will take care of it, but I’m also just spreading more awareness that something needs to be done about her because she will bring the morale down from your store And again like I said you guys are the only people in the 10 mile radius that sells my favorite snack. They can’t be purchased online and they don’t sell them at bigger stores. You guys are the only ones so I wanna be able to feel comfortable and respected coming into your store and buying the snacks and expect it not to be expired, but if it is because mistakes happen, I expect to be able to bring it to your employees attention without attitude and backlash as if I was inconveniencing her. not sure if this is her name, but on my receipt, it says Faydra

I went in to get my car inspected because it was making a noise on the driver’s side. They told me the car needed a new catalytic converter but said it was still safe to drive. So, I decided not to replace the catalytic converter right away. When I got home, my uncle—who has experience with cars—took it for a drive. He didn’t think the issue was the catalytic converter, so he inspected the driver’s side and found that all the wheel lug nuts were extremely loose. That’s very dangerous to drive with. After tightening all the lug nuts, the noise disappeared. Because of this, I no longer trust Bobby and Steve to work on my car.

The kindest people! Chris was so incredibly kind in helping me jump my car and giving me the best directions. My car failed on the road again and he recognized me and pulled over to help while off the clock after his work day. He was so sweet in making sure I was taken care of and had the right people fixing my car and having the right parts. I am so thankful for his help and this man deserves a raise for all the trouble he went out of his way to do for me! Thank you Chris, I am forever grateful for your help and kindness!!!! God bless!

Had a regular oil change. It all went well. They looked up the cars history and recommended two flushes, one of which I had the so that day and one I will take care of in a month. I’m very satisfied. It wasn’t too expensive either- thankfully.

Updated: Jeff contacted me and we were able to today's where things went wrong. Because of that, I changed my score. I was pretty upset, but he was apologetic and I appreciated the outreach. Honestly, it was an adventure. I had decided to get my car fixed, I called to see about pricing, which seemed reasonable. But, I was lied to about my car being "worked on as we speak". No, it wasn't, it was sitting in the parking lot. Where a friend happened to see, driving by, as I was talking to the service guy on the phone. I drove over within 5 minutes of that call, and could see that the car was not being worked on. I would have been fine if they had said, "not yet". But to outright lie, made me pause. I was not happy. Eventually, they apologized, but not gonna lie. It was the principle of it. It made me uneasy about what else are they lying about, when I can clearly see they lie straight to your face. I won't get into details other than that. I'm sure the mechanics are just fine. But, the BS that customer service guy was feeding me was really unnecessary. He shouldn't be lying about cars being worked on. And certainly shouldn't give me a hard time when I ask to speak with his supervisor. Other than "they went home". THERE'S ALWAYS SOMEONE IN CHARGE. don't friggen lie. Ding dongs. The only professional I spoke with was Dan. I appreciated his calm reaction to the situation. Good luck Jeff. Tell your wife, her old stylist Gina says hello.

Jeff and his team of knowledgeable, trustworthy ASE Certified staff ALWAYS provide world class customer service and extremely fast turnaround times. Pricing is very fair and well worth my trip to NE from the west metro to get exactly what I need, with no oversell. I've been a customer for several years and have run into quite a bit of the "you don't know what you're talking about" attitude. My car takes an additional quart of oil and every. single. time. the person that checks me in tells me that it's not possible. I have had my car 7 years, so would be fully aware of that by now. I did have a positive experience when they found my tires had been wearing poorly and needed to fix the rear end. They gave me an option to fix it for $3k or get new tires.

Had to stop for an oil change and knew from bringing my husband's car their before I needed no appointment so I just popped in with my 5 1/2 month old blue nose bully not knowing if I was going to be able to let her wait inside with her or have to have her outside and it was chilly a evening, well no worries as they totally allowed her in. Major points for that !!!! I was told a about a 45 minute which was off I waited only about 30 minutes so great service and promised time. Oil change under 23 bucks... Totally recommend these guys.
