Great parts and warranty, but the slowest service you will ever experience. The longest hold time. And you will receive your parts 3 days later, even if it's just a simple part such as a brake caliper or even a door or what ever it it is. lkq is not what it used to be. People need their cars right away, as a shop owner and/or a customer, the parts shouldn't take forever to arrive

Was waiting outside for an hour just to be told my part was being shipped when I clearly said pickup!! on the phone. I got cought with the train on my way there and on my way out so approximately 3 hours waiting and an hour because no one was answering the customer pickup phone. (I was there at 11am on a Friday)

The alternator I ordered was received on time and worked. The condition it was shipped was less the acceptable. I got lucky that it did work considering the feeble packaging.

They don't bother looking up parts, and the person on the phone seemed disinterested and bored to the point of being rude.

West of time to pick up parts from them you have to wait outside for an hour to get a response and they hung up on you you guys being so cheap with all the space make a room for a customer waiting show some respect

They just bought out Finish Masters paint supply went there today to get some more paint had the hardest time never got the paint they never answered the phone. The manager and the paint department told me I can’t order at the counter and they never answered the phone so I wish finish Masters never would’ve sold to them now they just lost a whole Detroit region. They suck they will leave you on hold for a lifetime not worth even trying .

Customer service is the worst I've seen in 50 years. Left on hold twice for 30 minutes before I was hung up on. Finally got through to be told they couldn't ship a gas tank, that they already said they could ship. Biggest waste of time and energy ever.

Willie is the best! He is a 5 star employee who is very helping and cares about his customers. LKQ has a great selection of parts. But when they drop the ball and leave their customers hanging they really could care less.

Just found out I was sold a bad engine by this company. $4,000 down the drain. Can't even get in touch with them to see if they're going to honor my warranty. Engine is already in my truck going to have to pay another $1,300 to get it removed. $7,000 I put into my truck for nothing because of these worthless people that sell you bad parts! I'm going to call the Better Business Bureau on them if they don't refund me this money!

I ordered parts the first time and received them and was happy so I reordered again. However , the part we received was broken when we opened the box. I did right away, but shame on me I didn't get a name-I told him is was shipped broken-like right after the delivery truck came with it. Nothing happened. Future attempts to return the part with their representatives to ask for a refund even with a time stamp picture was not good enough-treated like a liar. I do not like this company and will not recommend them...to anyone.

Was referred to this place by multiple shops for a transmission. One place even gave me their "inside connection" I've called twice a day every day in the last two weeks and left a message for the guy. Nothing. Don't bother calling the website number. You'll just get redirected to a bunch of different places and put on hold to the end of time.

Ordered a black sunvisor to match my black interior, website said it was black. Received a gray sunvisor. When I called, they said they don't guarantee the color of parts, and that I would have to pay for shipping to return it. Sorry, why do you have a color mentioned on your website if it's not accurate? Oh, the mirror cover was also broken and the thing smelled like an ashtray...horrible experience and even worse customer service...

Found part I needed in Toledo for 125 including tax & ship. How much was shipping = $ 60. I offered to drive to Toledo to save The ship costs/ they said NO.+ I found same part at Fox for only $20. DO IT YOURSELF & SAVE

Spent 600 on a new set of fenders just for them to send only the passenger side and destroy the box and bend the fender. ABSOLUTLY terrible customer service, they will hang up on you and give wrong numbers to try and get a refund or even despute being short-changed on an order. pretty much threw away 400 bucks for a fender that never shipped and the metal work for fixing the busted fender that did show up. Gotta be one of the worst companies I've delt with.

The worst costumer service that I have dealt with, I purchased the warranty with labor and part and overpaid for the warranty but they send me a broken engine and now they saying the warranty won’t cover. I have been trying to get hold with the manager John but they always put me on hold and close the line.

So I Decided to by a amp for my 2014 charger found it cheaper at a junk yard near my house. I called directly back five minutes after talking to the sales person to cancel my order and they said they did. But they didn’t. I called back the next day just to make sure it was not coming they said it’s on the way jus refuse it from ups of course they drop it off I sent it back an after a month I still haven’t received my money back ...

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS !!! Bought used engine and paid $600 extra for 2yr 24k mile warranty. 6300 miles later (4 months), the engine died. Arthur Herbert will not warranty engine (over email) without even wanting to know the reason for damage. I followed all requirements for the warranty, replacing and servicing what they said was necessary. Now going to court. Attorney says they have violated their legal agreement and that their warranty does not say anything about "void if".... DO NOT do any business with LKQ. They sell reman parts on Rockauto, Autoworks, Autozone and others as well, and the feedback is horrible.

Amazing over the phone experience, got sent to the Romulus location for a trans, pulled in at 4:32 and the guy told me he couldn’t help me because they closed at 4:30, even after I called to verify hours of business, nice waste of a 3hr drive.

So my dad is helping me with my truck. He had bought a v-6 for my explorer. Upon pick up this engine had a bent belt tensioner busted up valve cover. No flex plate. No nothing. Removed the old valve cover to discover they sold my dad f#<€ing pre blown engine. Timing chain tensioner is in pieces in side the engine. That’s where I stopped with the engine. With a loose timing chain that could have jumped teeth on an unknown engine the heads have to be pulled to see if the valves have banged off the pistons. Bottom line is this company should not be serving people. This company should be shut down for selling completely ruined parts. Don’t bother with them. If the rating had a negative star I’d give them 100.

Awful... stay away. Don't get a remanufactured engine from them unless you want to repair their short comings multiple times.... And most of these short comings they are well aware of it seems when you have to deal with the warranty claim center... just spend the extra couple hundred for a engine or trans from the manufacturer

I called to get part and price information and was MADE TO LISTEN TO ADVERTISMENTS! Whomever is responsible for subjecting potential customers to this treatment should be terminated. This is bad business. Just let me call your number, TALK TO A HUMAN, and spend my money with you. I am beyond frustrated with your company and I haven't even spoke to anyone. You people deserve to NOT get business. Ugh!
