Bought a Handicap Van from them in Feb 2025, it was a problem from the start had to put over 5,000$ in work in the first 6 months, they did not tell me it was totaled (salvage title)and didn't fix all the damage to the front end.My wife was ill and I live 350 miles away so I didn't have time to complain about it.Sold it in Feb 2026 ,1 year after I bought it and took a 15,000 dollar loss.Due to van worth 33% less because of salvage title .WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN!!!

Purchased a 22 Explorer ST from star auto, Sight unseen I was extremely nervous knowing it was a rebuilt vehicle and I'm very picky and almost never satisfied with anything other that factory paint and body work. They were very open and willing to provide before pictures of damage and a full detailed report of all parts and work performed. Well two days later it showed up at my home and instantly relieved the vehicle was beautiful the work was top notch! I have went over the vehicle multiple times and I'm blown away with the quality and the paint match and blend that was done I received a practically new suv for a fraction of new price. Again thank you we'll definitely be doing more business in the future.

BUYERS BEWARE! This place buys wrecked vehicles, repairs them poorly and then sell them as never having been wrecked. The salesman stole my identity to have mother feedback that I left for him on eBay removed. SUPER SHADY COMPANY AND EMPLOYEES. DO NOT BUT FROM!
This dealership is owned by a friend of mine. i know him personally. he is honest, fair, and hard working person, beside that he work by the book. he own a collision shop as well, and from personal experience. his work deserve 5 Stars. highly recommended

Was buying a car from this place. Was told car not being sold but later found out anther buyer called with a higher offer. Then I was told I could get the car at the higher rate... slumbag tactics...very unprofessional.
I Bought a 2014 Ford Edge and I love it! I basically went on reviews and never even actually seen the car in person before I got it, which I thought I would never do. But I talked with them on the phone and they gave me all the information I needed and made the process a lot easier. I live about 5 hours away and had it shipped straight to me. Shipping wasn't that expensive either.
I got the car today and it was everything I expected! Just like they said. Very nice car for a very nice price!! I would highly recommend them.
These guys are straight up good people. They're excellent at mechanics and services. I bought a salvaged titled Ford Focus Titanium from these boys, they had it fixed up brand new like and I love it. I don't understand the crappy reviews here because my experience was top notch and I will buy my next vehicle from them. I highly recommend Star Auto Group. They fumbled the remote starter deal at first, but then went above and beyond and made it right. To the owner, Jimmy, manager, Ali, and the boys... Thank you. I'll be back.
Saw their ebay listing for a '13 Taurus with a salvage title. VIN search showed the before photos of collision damage from the insurance auction, so I had a pretty good idea of what to look for and where. Having a background in automotive including collision repair helped.
I decided the hour drive was worth a chance to see it, and it was worth the trip.
The place is nothing pretty, which might turn off customers who care about appearances. I met Ali, very kind and personable...not pushy, which is something I appreciate.
Spent a lot of time crawling inside, around and under the car; the repair work was excellent and almost undetectable, even in areas I focused on thanks to the original photos I'd found online.
Test drive showed nothing unusual so I started the negotiating. 6K miles, good repair, purchase price ended up being less than 1/2 sticker. Awesome.
In the end, know what you're looking at, inspect it. Get history if you can like I did. Be kind but firm on negotiations.
I was interested in purchasing a car from Star, but for my own satisfaction I had the car checked by a body shop. Best money I ever spent. The Frame rail was buckled, brake line rubbed against the tire, and a million other defects some of which were safety related. BUYER BEWARE.
Do not go here! They fix up cars so they look nice and pass inspection but have flaws to them! Tried to rip me off and when I took to a 3rd party mechanic to reveal an extra $2,500 in damage that needed to be fixed, they asked me to leave! Overall, I would not trust this place, they constantly cut corners on their work to make a few bucks.
