I stopped at the O’Reilly Auto Parts in Melvindale, Michigan on a rough day just to grab windshield wipers. D’Angelo helped me, and I’m so glad he did. He was professional, kind, and welcoming. He even installed my wipers in the rain, held the door like a gentleman, and let me sit in my car while he stood outside changing them. That kind of customer service is rare. He made a stressful day a whole lot easier. The Melvindale location is lucky to have him!

Placed an order online for Windshield Wipers...driver's side and passenger. When I arrived to the store 10 mins later...Ruth explained to me that one of the wipers will not work because of some hook thing....She exchanged it for the correct one. Anyway...Had to go back to the store a few hours later because some part was missing from the box... DeAngelo found me that part....and went outside and put on my car. Super friendly people....They are both very friendly.... Thanks again!!!!

Last night, I went to O’Reilly’s in Allen Park on Oakwood needing urgent help because my battery light came on and my vehicle was stalling in the cold. I asked if they could test my battery and possibly replace it. The two young ladies working behind the counter laughed at me and said, “It’s like 20 degrees out, we’re not going out there,” even though the store’s policy clearly states they will replace batteries purchased in-store. There were no other cars in the parking lot, so it wasn’t a matter of being too busy. From what I could see, they seemed more interested in their phones than helping a customer in distress. I felt completely dismissed during a serious safety issue involving me and my child. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and compassion at this location. I will think twice before returning.

I like O'Reilly's. They tend to have qualified people behind the counter and this one did too. I was able to get in and out quickly with a car battery. I'll always try to go to O'Reilly's first, if I have a choice.

I needed some assistance installing the rear wiper blade on my Jeep Patriot. The two employees behind the counter told me they don't do rear wiper blade installations go to YouTube. So I put the wiper blade on by myself in the parking lot of O'Reilly's. It took only about 5 seconds. They were polite but I didn't appreciate the comment that I can find out how to do it on YouTube.

Local costumer, the customer service is always great but whenever I go and I see the lady working at the desk, she throws her attitude towards people like today when I stopped by to buy a blade. If you have a bad attitude then keep it to yourself and respect customers like the other employees do.

Great customer service! I trust this store to deliver my parts by the date they say it’ll be available. Management has a ton of experience and advice in the automotive field as well. Most major chains of repair shops don’t carry the single metal lug bolts for my Jeep Renegade. The stock lugs cost over $200 to replace every 2 years because of the chrome cap and steel swelling beyond use. It’s a ridiculous cosmetic design. Thankfully you can order the non-swelling bolts through this store. Thanks for saving me thousands of dollars in the long run Omar!

Not very Helpful customer service . I’m going to admit that not all employees, I was standing in store for about 20 minutes with some used oil needed to be recycled. They passed by me and looked the other way, like they never see me . I don’t mind going extra miles knowing that I will get a better service.

Noticed my passenger side windshield wiper was falling apart this morning. Went to O'reillys in Melvindale, Mi due to proximity to work. Gentleman behind counter helped me find correct wipers for my vehicle. Suggested wiper with best value. Came outside to assist when he noticed I was was having difficulty putting on new wiper. Great customer service!

Store manager is not a pillar of efficiency when it comes to customer service. It is disappointing that management at this store can't navigate a problem any farther than what the computer says. Product of our society where people cannot use deductive reasoning and logic to identify and solve problems. Got a quote and ordered some wiring for a project a week ago. Confirmed prices at that time. Was told to come back on Tuesday when everything was in. Gave it an extra day and when I came in, the prices where over 50% higher than quoted. I was told that "prices are subject to change" yeah maybe 1,2, even 5%, but to over 50% within 5 days. I have had a commercial account with Oreilly for over 8 years and never had a worse experience than I had today. I gave up trying to work with this individual today, it was clear that nothing was getting through. In summary, this is a store specific issue and not a reflection of the company. My home store is very attentive and the staff are top shelf.

The manager at this store (Kyle) is the one who brought this bad review to this store and O'Reilly's because of his terrible attitude and his dis respect for all the customers in the store when he starts cussing using bad language while he can see there is 5-6 customers in the store and 3 employees. This is by far the poorest, worst customer service I have ever encountered in any retail store coming from their manager!. Makes me wonder why O'Reilly's paying this guy money to make them loose customers and loose money. This is even not mentioning the few times that I was in this store and witness in my eyes this guy having bad attitude and issues even with business customers( shops owners) in the area or what they call them commercial accounts. He has 0% care if the store looses these guys that spend thousands $$$ in the store every months... and yes I witnesses that while I was there several times!!.

Very helpful employees. I asked to be shown which isle the brake lights were in. Instead, the employee went and got what I needed. I didn't need to look around for it. Service at its best! Thank you.

Good service good parts and great warranties. The managers have me a good discount just because I asked. Plenty of parking. I will say they should hire more people because it was a little bit of a wait to get service. I think that parts are better quality than other similar auto parts stores.

I purchased a battery in 2016 with a two year warranty and returned it to the store in March 2018 after I got a battery problem light. Turned out the battery corroded. The staff were not very friendly and couldn't remove the battery and I had to purchase a new one. A staff member at Advanced Auto Parts had it removed in 30 seconds. You might get good service the first time you go but probably not the second time.

My car [2001 ML320 Benz] was breaking down and I was about to overheat my engine. Kevin M. did a great job just seeing my car and immediately fixing my problem. I had a new coolant reservoir installed into my car within 8 minutes, No Charge. After that he was extremely helpful in suggesting Stop Leakage for my Power Steering leak, as well as fuses for my car. His great service and advice helped me at a time where my car was on the brink of burning out. I will be coming back to this O'Reilly's for anything car related. Once again Kevin and Ryan had great customer service, and I could not ask for anything else!

I was just here today and they sold me defective brake pads so now I'm stranded at home. I called the customer service line and it went straight to voicemail. I'm never shopping at O'Reillys again.
