Should be named Advanced Auto PART instead of PARTS. From oil filters to lug nuts, if you need more than one of anything you're looking for, they won't have it. Been an attempted regular customer for 7 yrs.
Excellent, quick and knowledgeable service. Took me three places to get a oil filter. I won't name the other two big stores that I will not go to anymore. Sad cuz they're right around the corner. Instead of going a mile, I'll drive four. Thank you again sir

I can’t say enough about the positive experience I had today at Livonia Advance Auto Parts. Ben went above and beyond providing me with ideas and parts to help troubleshoot the issues I’ve been having with my Chevy Tahoe. In the future I will drive past the other two auto parts stores that are closer to me in the hope that Ben will be working at Advance!
I visited this store to buy a new truck battery and received outstanding service by Ben. He was very knowledge and went out of his way to install the battery and also test my alternator and starter. Ben was very thorough in his work and made sure every detail in completing the job was done correctly. He was also very pleasant and approachable. I am looking forward to purchasing all of my future auto parts from this store and I will highly recommend it to my friends.

Update... same car, same store 2 years latter and they even advertise FREE Battery installation right on the building. . But they don't install now. Went to Autozone. Installed / Done. DISAPPOINTMENT
Chloe R is amazing! I've visited the store once (maybe twice in the distant past), previously and she remembered my name and where I was from!
Remarkable memory! She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. She also carried my battery out to the car for me.

Absolutely horrible customer service here. The woman I spoke with at the counter was very disrespectful and condescending with me. I took my business to Auto Zone on 8 mile and was treated much better!
So I went to Advance Auto Parts on Seven Mile in Livonia today hoping to find the correct tool I need to separate the A-arm from the cast knuckle on my truck. I want to tell everyone what impeccable service I received. The person attempting to help me was Kristen (hope I have the name right). This kid went above and beyond to help me. All over the computer and back and forth to the back to verify inventory. She was awesome! If everyone in the younger generation was as diligent as she was, I wouldn’t worry too much about the future of this country. That being said: give the girl a raise. Because of her I just became a regular customer (I’m sure I’m not the only one).If I need anything for any of my vehicles, I’m headed to that store first. The manager of this store is disrespectful and rude. She and the commercial salesperson picked on an employee with a disability. It's vaguer and disgusting. She also lied to employees by saying the store wasn't doing well, taking hours from employees, and giving herself overtime. It sounds fishy to me. I'm a manager; no one gets overtime if a company is not doing well. I will take my business to New- Auto Parts Store in Livonia.
I was greeted when I walked in, that's rare these days. Young guy helped me out with some jack stands and a socket extension and not only was he helpful he was very polite too. I appreciated the customer service I received very much. Thanks again and keep up the great work
First time there in a very long time I normally will not shop there because their prices are a little bit higher then O'Reilly's and AutoZone which are both down the street from my house too. But my experience there was pleasant they had a lot of what I needed in stock and the gentleman that was working there was extremely nice and I was in and out of the store within minutes. I and giving them five stars for this visit.

Worker started arguing with me about my online order. I ordered from the website that said my items were in stock and was thrilled to get them after 30 min. So I waited an hour to be safe and to better time others errands. When I went to get them he said that they don't have them....wait what? He finally came back with them and said they weren't checked in. So I asked if they weren't checked in and your stock says you don't have them then how did online say you did? He started angrily telling me I can't trust the website and I should known better and come in....wow great customer service there! Even better is his understanding and trust of his company's system. If they weren't the only place that had what I needed I wouldn't go there. They are awful amd always have been.
I can not remember the gentleman's name who helped me today, but he was very informative about wiper blades. Was very patient and helped me decide which ones were best for my truck and my budget. He even put the new ones on for me! And, he was not trying to make me spend more money than I had! It was quick and easy to get my wiper blades changed today. It's great to know there is still great customer service out there! Thanks again man!
There's nothing like when your part store has the parts you need to fix your problem. Call these guys they knew exactly the part I need it and had it in stock. They were closing soon but knew I was coming so we're on the lookout for me. These days of cheap prices and Walmart comparisons this really made it worth my while to drive out of my way to get what I need it. Three shops between me and them and they were the only ones that had the part, I don't have to tell you how much that meant. Call First and you will probably walk away happy.
I frequent this location and this store is great. It's clean and organized. The layout makes sense. You are greeted by staff when you walk in and more importantly, they always seem to have at least one person free to help you. Returns are quick and easy and they don't seem to mind when you order online and pick-up at the store. They usually have my order ready by the time I reach the store (10 minutes or less).
