Horrible! Lied to me constantly. Said they had time to fix my car a 3 day job max. They took 3 weeks. They never once called me I had to call for updates. The service, employees are are terrible. Save your money and time. Go somewhere else.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to use them for service because the quoted repair was just out of range of what I was willing to pay for the car. That being said… They we’re communicative the whole process and so so so nice and understand about every step of the way.!!!!! I will definitely use them from here on out. Seem like genuine hardworking people.

Pulled up to get an estimate needing a $2,000 worth of work done I'm also a Whitmore Lake resident. Asked politely a question about parking and the gentleman inside decided to meet me with a smart-ass remark and a very demeaning answer just for that I will never be coming there or taking any of my vehicles there

I’ve had a pleasant interactions with this car shop the Garage is clean and the employees are friendly and informative. Usually at other shops I take my car in and don’t get it back for several weeks but not at the Whitmore lake garage , 2 days and I got my truck back. Thank you for all your help! Honest and competent repair shop. Willing to work on my Ram Ecodiesel and do a proper diagnostic for an engine stall issue. Quoted a maximum diagnostic fee and ended up charging less, only for what was needed. Truck is back to running great, would highly recommend

Whitmore Auto is outstanding! They have consistently gone above and beyond to help us with our vehicles. They have worked beyond their normal hours at times and their prices are affordable! The employees are always friendly and easy to work with.

I can't express how pleased I was with the service provided by Clayton and Jim. I have a 2012 GMC sierra 3500hd duramax that stalled in the middle of North Territorial and Whitmore Lake rd. Don's towing got to me and towed the truck to Whitmore Lake Auto repair. Truck was there in 30 minutes. My worry was the fuel pump failed which is common problem with this truck. Clayton expressed same concern. This repair is $15000.00. Clayton told me he would run the diagnoses and let me know. Next morning 9am Jim called told me truck fixed was a loose wire on the low pressure fuel sensor. How relieved I was and how much I appreciate Claytons honesty, good work, and great customer service. They could of easily told me fuel pump imploded and charged me the $15000.00 instead they made a quick easy repair then made a sugestion to help me save cost when the pump does fail saving me thousands. Great shop I will be back tough to find a reliable dyramax mechanic. Thanks guys.

Not gonna lie. Initially, I thought the quote they gave me on my rear drums was quite high. I needed them done, though. They were honest with other repair aspects on my vehicle and quoted me on that. I told them what work I would have them do. Apparently, they unintentionally damaged one of the brake cylinders. (I work hard, too. I understand things happen) They charged me for the cylinder, (Like 25 bucks) but gave me the brake fluid change for free. They said it was on them. That's honest service. I know things are expensive now, especially labor, but I completely respect honesty. Going back if I have to for service again if I need to. Good, honest people.

Jim put up with a million of my questions and I know Clayton worked hard on my car. I felt these guys were honest and treated me fairly. The work was done quickly and they made a stressful situation easier. I don't know anyone in Whitmore Lake so picking them was a shot in the dark and I am glad I did.

Jim and the crew at Whitmore Lake Auto are as good as it gets. They had my approval for $2,700 worth of work on my vehicle but found the repair was much simpler than anticipated and only required a new oil pan gasket. Finding a shop that does great work and is HONEST is hard to find. Keep up the great work guys!

Little late to the game here but better late than never. Stopped in there with a emergency stem issue with my tire. These dudes inside dropped what they were doing and came out and helped. Pretty sweet to see and I really appreciate the help. Totally recommend!!!!! Jason

5 star in every way! I had an unexpected urgent need to fasten my oil pan which I noticed hanging lose under my truck. I pulled into this shop with my fingers crossed they would assist me without an appointment as I was already in route to other appointments scheduled for this day. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, understanding of immediate need for safety therefore accommodated graciously without delay. I absolutely do plan to return for all future repair needs, including routine oil changes here! It's great to know there's friendly helpful services right around the corner! What a change from when the previous owner was there ( no disrespect to him) when you go in now it looks better than walking into any dealership shop. The quality of the work is awesome and at an affordable choice. Definitely take your car there for repairs

The staff at Whitmire Lake Auto are professional and honest. I took my 1957 Chevy there and was amazed at how knowledgeable Clayton was. He was able to diagnose my issues and came up with a great game plan to fix it on a budget. Because the vehicle is a classic I am very selective on who I let touch it. Five minutes of conversation convinced me that this is the shop to handle my upgrades. Bonus is the shop is close and the staff are all very friendly. I showed up with little to no prior notice & they stopped what they were doing to talk with me about what was going on with my truck & within 20-30 minutes had finished what he was working on prior and then my truck had their full attention. Very professional shop but whats possibly even more important, they're skill at what they do & their honesty. Great experience will definitely recommend to others
