Prices very fair, staff friendly and work done in a timely fashion. Trust they deserve as I previously needed work done and was given quotes of up to $5,000. After they basically went inside out through my car, was much more minor and just over $500.00! I just had wheel barring replaced today and they saved me a lot after my quote in Bay City. Fair , honest business to deal with and I highly recommend them. They are awesome!!

Tony has been working on mine and my folks vehicles for 10-15 years, stand up business ran by stand up people. You won’t find better mechanics in the area.
Great and quick service and very reasonable priced only charged me 4o dollars to look at it and If I got it fixed there it would be added to the bill
where cooks gm would charge me 120 per hour just to look at it..

Reasonable prices for auto repairs/upkeep. Awesome customer service, & trustworthy, We had a vehicle that was not worth the cost of repairing and they called to let us know instead of charging us to fix it, Would definitely recommend them.
Called and set up an appointment for my '81 Vandura weeks in advance for headers, side pipes, intake, and new oil pan install along with a final carb tune once done. Was told originally it'd be done within the week (appointment was for Monday), but when Friday rolled around and it wasn't ready I asked if it would be done by the following Friday since I needed the van to take our kids up to Traverse City on Saturday for the weekend. Friday rolls around and it's still not ready as it had been put off for a week to finish another engine. Tony stayed late Friday night to wrap it up (and a few other nights also from what I'd been told) and my lady went and grabbed it since I'm currently on night shift. Get out of work in the morning and get in the van to find that the NOS wooden center console I'd bought for the van was busted into two pieces (was never notified of this) and my oil pressure gauge no longer worked. Figured no big deal, I'll fix it. I go to pick up my kids and the van is backfiring every time I accelerate from a stop. I stop and get my kids, and the thing dies and won't start. Had to call for a tow because of this and ended up having to leave way later than initially planned. I called Monday morning and told Tony I was I had some problems with the van and was told to not come back. Once I got a chance to look under the hood I found he had cut the working AC lines and taped them off, then blocked off my oil dipstick tube and kept the dipstick also for whatever reason. Hands down craziest experience with a shop ever. Side pipes look good and I know there was a lot of work put into this, but I had things get destroyed, I need to get my AC fixed now, and the van died damn near immediately after receiving it back. I'd had work done here in the past and was more than happy with it, and I know most people have a great time with this shop, so I don't know what happened.
One of the best shops I know of in vassar and in the county. There's a reason people keep going back to them for automotive repairs for years to come. The prices are reasonable for labor.
Overall it's a good place to go with affordable prices. Problems I've had my brake caliber put on wrong to where if I didn't notice or find out that that was the problem it would have torn the hose which in turn would have and/or could have endangered the lives of me and mine and or others and just today the power steering
pressure hose to my vehicle that they replaced and said they took care of properly loosened and almost destroyed more of my engines parts.
As Pro's things like that should never happen.

This place is better than ANY dealer when it comes to working on your vehicle! I have had many vehicles repaired by these guys and they don't lie cheat or try to rip you off! They tell you what you need and give you they best price they can from the start.
They stand behind their work! If you live in Vassar or the surrounding area then this is your best choice for automotive repairs!
Tony and his crew have done amazing work at a reasonable price in Vassar for many years at the Truck Stop. Excited to see the Karr's put their name on the much larger building. Congrats to them on the bigger place and truly appreciate all the hard work and long hours it took them to make this happen. We will be taking one of our vehicles in next week for service!
