I was having issues with my car for over a month I was recommended this place and they did not disappoint! I got my car back same day on such short notice. Doug is very nice and he took the time to explain what’s was going on. They’re very fairly priced and very thorough! I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here you won’t regret it!

I challenged them with a 27 year old Jeep TJ I recently bought and they tackled some basic maintenance and electrical issues. I know they found some gremlins along the way but I’m very happy with the service and fair pricing. There is more work to be done, and I’ll return in the future.

One of the best family owned small shops in the area. They are capable of just about any job, large or small.

Highly recommend!! I called on Thursday trying to get a 2nd opinion on a suspension and wheel bearing issue. Doug the owner told me to be in by nine AM next.day. I was in slightly before. When worker Dallas arrived he got right on my car. In the inspection noticed the front wheel extremely wobbly. Not wanting me to leave witb it.that way, decided to take care of that issue along with replacement of both control arms ( of which I had bought for a previous car of same but 2 years older and never needed before selling it). After about 2.5 hours, with ordering the parts that needed to be ordered and delivered i was back on the road. Being totally satisfied with and extremely comfortable in knowing I would be able to feel much safer in my travels on my routes of all types of road conditions.

Brought my truck in for a stalling problem. Was diagnosed right away as a battery barely charged. Replaced the battery and he test drove it, still didn't like it. Took off the throttle body, cleaned it and it ran smoother after that. Excellent service at a good price. Thank you!!

I can't say enough about the guys at this shop. We are fulltime rvers & had a issue with a starter. They worked with my mechanic in S TX because we had in Feb put on a new starter. They even gave us a car to drive. Everything they did was wonderful. So if you're looking for a honest garage this is it.

Military friendly, good price range, and quick considering the owner has not found an employee eager to work and help him! Small businesses need to be protected.

Great place to take your car. We dropped my son's 2002 Jeep Liberty off. They looked at it Tuesday and had an estimate by that same evening. We waited only a few days for parts to come in. It was completely done by Monday afternoon. Its a very affordable place also.

I had some front-end work done at another shop in algonac. And when I picked up my car it was still very noisy. Making a clunking sound. They were unable to find the noise.. I took my car to schweihofer's garage. Doug at schweihofer's garage was able to find the noise and repair it. My car was repaired on time at a fair price.. I recommend this shop

Quick, Professional and done right. We are traveling America in our truck and Rv and one of the hardest things is getting proper maintenance when you need it. Our dealership sold us a "certifide used truck" Which is supposed to mean that it is in ready drive safe conditions when you take it off the lot. And it was not. But I digress. These guys got us in and out and they fully warranty their service so if anything goes wrong I call a phone number and I am fixed where ever I am. No extra cost to us oart of the service. They even gave us a fair price to upgrade to Duralast Gold brake pads. The difference in price was so minimal it would have been stupid to not go with the best. All and all a great experience highly recommended.

Worst experience with any mechanic/tire shop I’ve ever had. I dropped off two rims already off the car and had two tires I wanted put on them. First the owner got rude because I didn’t have an appointment(for two tires already off). 3 days later I had to pick them up because they still weren’t put on and whenever I asked when they’d be done he got rude and says “I’ll get to it when I get to it” no I’ll call when there on or anything. Unbelievable my first time leaving someone a bad review in my life. Took them somewhere else and it was done in 15 minutes

Our neighbor recommended this place for our son who needed work done on his vehicle that my husband and son weren't able to do. We were incredibly happy with them! Our son is young and still learning and they are patient, honest and very fair!

So here goes, long overdue comments Was traveling from upstate NY thru Canada to Detroit to go visit my son and my newest grandson, after the border got on the highway and soon found myself with a front tire going flat, got off the exit at the Loves Truck stop, tried adding air and was barely holding, called AAA 45 minutes still looking to assign the call, no help from the trucks truckstop shop at all, can't touch a car, someone mentioned a repair shop 1 mile down the road and decided to put air and run there. Now it's starting to get late and I just want to get to Detroit to see my grandkids before they go to bed as I was leaving next morning. Thankfully got the car to the shop at closing time The gentleman came out looked at it, I told him my situation he said he didn't have a tire and mine cannot be fixed. He changed the tire to the donut spare to get me to Detroit. I was very grateful and went to pay him whatever he asked when I realized good people come in all shapes and places He refused to take any money from me as much as I tried to give him at least something for his help. I misplaced his card but I do believe his name was Doug May God repay you for your kindness 🙏 An hour latter AAA called me to say they are still looking for someone to assign the call, time to reconsider that membership

I had an engine shield that was falling off my suv this morning on I94! The sound was getting louder as I was driving to my daughters this morning. I pulled off at the Wadhams exit and pulled into Schweihofer’s garage. I have never been there and am not familiar with the area , the sign said open and I pulled in. I went to the desk and a gentlemen listened to my problem as he was trying to drink his morning coffee! He got up and went out to my car, drove it in to the shop and took off the shield . He charged me nothing!! I had no appointment and he took care of me! My morning was great after that!! He was wonderful! I think he was the owner as he was the first one in and trying to work on his computer. Great guy and great company!! Thank you!!

Took my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze here after having a horrible experience at another car shop. Got my cruze back up and running and have absolutely no issues. Very good pricing and they offer military discounts. I will be doing business Schweihofers Garage from now on! Keep it up guys thank you!!

Just took my best friend and his Mother up here yesterday and they ended up w a really great car for a good price. Everything was really clean and the staff were super friendly. I also noticed it seems to be a Christian owner which to me, means something. My friend is super happy about the new vehicle, how painless the process was, the great price and how accommodating the gentleman was. Fully positive experience.

I was introduced to this shop by family in the area and I needed an oil change on my European SUV. I went in and made an appointment with Doug, the owner. Super nice guy, very accommodating. I arrived shortly thereafter for the oil change and was in and out within 1 hour. Shop is clean and the staff is very nice. I will definitely be back for other work. His prices for the oil change compared the Mercedes dealer can't be beat! Plus, he's pretty cute, too!

Truly a perfect experience. I was in a jam and I needed a tune up done on my engine. From the moment I walked in to the moment I payed for the service done to my vehicle, everyone I interacted with was polite, professional and honest. This was my first time using Schweihofers Garage but I told them that I would be a customer for life. If any of you reading this need work done to your vehicle, I HIGHLY recommend this business. Also, I specifically dealt with Matt while my car was in and from start to finish, he was nothing but helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good things about this garage!

My camshaft position sensor went bad. My car coasted into their parking lot. The owner came out and looked at my car and knew right away what the problem was. I left it with them and the next day, not even 24 hours later, I had my car back. They're very friendly. Definitely recommend them based on my experience.

They bailed me out of a tight jam. We were moving to Florida in a couple of days and our vehicle started running rough and giving a couple of different warnings on the dash. I called 10-12 other shops and explained that we were moving and they all said they couldn't get to me for at least a week or two. I called and spoke with Doug and he said he probably couldn't get to it for at least a week. When I explained that we were moving in a couple days, he told me to bring it in and he would take a look at it and in less than 2 hours he discovered the issue and had it fixed. I just hope I can find a mechanic like him in Florida.

Excellent customer service, took my dodge in immediately after calling and had a diagnosis within a few hours. With a major problem to my motor, they had my car back to me in a few days. Excellent prices, highly intelligent mechanic.

My husband took our truck to get fixed. You are truly a life saver and great prices. Mom just took Suv there to get oil changed and front tire check out. Very friendly, professional and won't take our vehicles anywhere else.
