Immediate response from the initial phone call to Jefferey’s arrival. My tie rod broke & it was a scary experience for me. Jeff went way above & beyond to help me out in this situation. Steve owner of Steve's Towing and Viking towing is extremely unprofessional, rude and reaps off customers /insurance companies. Do NOT USE I will tell all my school bus friends NOT to use them.
Steve's towing is the only towing company I will use. He is very reasonable. I have used him many times when I need a tow. Everyone that works for Steve is great.
This review is a bit overdue but nevertheless I felt it was absolutely necessary to leave one regarding my experience with everyone considering using Steve's Towing Service.
I recently moved from Lapeer to St. Clair and needed my classic vehicle picked-up and delivered from my prior residence to my new address... and in my quest in locating a tow company that serviced both, Lapeer and St Clair counties, I happened upon Steve's Towing Service.
As a retired public servant (Police/Fire/EMS), and tow truck operator myself, I genuinely have an expectation of public service, and from beginning to end Steve's Towing Service exceeded that expectation. True professionals!
Upon placing my call for service the call taker was not only professional, he was polite, as he was patient with listening and answering all my questions, as well as reassuring... and he said that he would have a driver out within the hour. Before hanging up, I asked him his name again, and he said "Steve."
When the driver pulled up, I was immediately impressed with his rig... it was new, impeccably clean, and obviously cared for, also a great sign.
The operator "David" is truly an example of what every business owner would want for an employee. David looked sharp. His uniform was put together nicely... not like the typical greasy and tattered tow truck driver you usually see.
David definitely takes a lot of pride in what he does, as he is very knowledgeable and highly skilled in his trade... He was very professional, considerate, polite, and funny (great sense of humor).
In closing, if you are in need of a towing service, I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend using Steve's Towing Service.
His prices were better than fair, and their service is outstanding. If a TEN STAR rating was an option, I'd gladly give them one... Steve's Towing Service definitely hit the mark on every level on what true public service and professionalism should look like and/or be.

My car fell on the side of the road. I called them to tow it a little until it returned to the road. After the withdrawal, he told me that the price of that is $225. What are these expensive prices
I just hired Steve’s towing to get my work truck to a service station for emergency repairs and they were beyond helpful. Steve was wonderful to work with over the phone setting up my tow. Jeff the driver sent out to tow my truck went above and beyond to be sure my truck was secure and delivered with care!! Thanks Guys!!! I will definitely use them again for all my future towing needs!
Car broke down and needed a tow. Dave responded within minutes. He was very courteous, professional and personable. Took extra time to help diagnose the car. I couldn’t have had a better experience. Highly recommended!
I needed an emergency tow after hours on a Saturday, and Steve's Towing was able to be there within 20 minutes. The driver was friendly and professional and towed my car back home for a fair price.

Had to utilize their services twice now and each time they have been quick to the rescue! It's not a good position to be in waiting for a tow with a broken down vehicle! Best towing company around! Steve has towed multiple vehicles for me anywhere from .25 mi to 100 miles. Always very fast, drivers are great, and most importantly the vehicle has always been transported safely!
Steve is the Man! He had to bring the big wrecker to haul the company truck, he was flawless! He took excellent care of us, and was as thorough as could be. We couldn't be happier!
Steve was awesome! Had a terrible day running around like crazy towing a pop-up trailer. l Stupidly ignore my gas light that came on and next thing you know I ran out of gas in the middle of the road. The nearest gas station was 4 miles away. I looked on Google and called Steve's towing. They had no tow trucks available in the area but within 25 minutes someone showed up with a gas can driving a car. What an awesome save to my day! Thank you steve!
This company says that it is one of the best around and i truly believe that now! Darrick showed up in 20 minutes at 3:30 in the morning and towed my boat/trailer that had no tire on one side and a flat tire on the other side and managed to get it on his flatbed with no damage whatsoever! And all of this for a fraction of the competitors. Definitely would recommend these guys to anybody i know.
Awesome to work with! I was locked out of my car and they took care of getting me back in to it so quickly! Derrick was great at what he does.

Had a flat tire and no one near me could make the call. Dave went above and beyond to get to me on a timely manner and make the change with a very professional attitude. I had 4 young children with me and he made sure I was good to go on our spare and did so quickly and efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and kind, it was a pleasure having him out to help!
My experience was awesome. Called in the morning and got a truck out to me within the hour. My driver, David, was extremely helpful and thoughtful. He tried to start and test my battery to see if that was the issue of my vehicle. It wasn't, but still did that without even asking, all to save me some money. Top notch customer service. Steve's towing hopefully won't be needed in the future anytime soon, but i'll be calling them if needed.
Very pleased with my experience with David. Got there about 10 mins after I gave them a call for a blow out and my Bagged wide body car after waiting 3 hours for another towing service just to tell them they don’t wanna come out anymore. David was extremely careful when it came to getting my car on the flat bed, made sure I wasn’t scrapping to bad when going up and even goin down when we made it back to my house ( didn’t mind the scrapping, its not a Michigan car that’s for sure) Will definitely be giving these guys a call for any other future tows. Thank you Dave again for all your help.
David was very kind and polite. He was there very quickly, and got my daughters car out and on the truck very fast. He was able to follow us home. He parked the car exactly where I asked him to.
