these people would get 10 Stars if I could do it. if you ever been out on the side of the highway with a flat tire and couldn't loosen the lug nuts on your wheel because the shop did not use a torque wrench you will be pleasantly surprised with these guys. they were quick to get to me and did the work at a reasonable price and the technician used a torque wrench to tighten my lug nuts boy oh boy I'm a happy camper
The only reason I don’t give five stars is because you’ll have to wait to get your car in. But that’s because they have a lot of customers like myself who return to them for service. Mike’s father was my mechanic many years ago and now Tenyer’s is still my go to. I travel all over the country and also do my own wrenching when the weather is nice annd I can work outside and Mike and company are one of the few mechanics I would take my Tacoma with 300k+ miles on it. Very few shops are as reliable as Tenyer’s and I can’t afford half measures when driving cross country year after year.
I took my car in because the wheel bearing was bad on the front drivers side and was squeaking. They tell me it’s the back wheels hub. I specially told them to fix the squeaking noise. I go to pick my vehicle up and they tell me it’s the wheel bearing in the front and wanted me to pay more to get it fixed. They should have listened to what I said in the first place. Now I have to take my car to a different shop and pay even more money to fix what they should have in the first place.
I've had my car in several times. They are always friendly and willing to work around my schedule. Very good at standing behind their work. I recommend them.
We dropped our car off and had it back to us in 3 days. A part that had previously been serviced here was warrantied and the cost of the other repairs were very fair.
Replaced timing chains, sprocket and tensioners. Did the diagnosis, explained findings and concerns clearly before we agreed to proceed. Price was fair and work performed quickly.
Nobody likes spending big $$ on car repairs but when you have to, trust Mike and the mechanics at Tenyers.
I've been here a few times with various cars, they take the time to inspect the vehicle then will call and discuss options with you, Mike is super friendly and doesn't seem to mind answering questions.

Tom and Mike have been so honest and great people in addition to being expert mechanics that I recommend Mike ( Owner Tenyer auto service) in Marine city Mi over any other in this state!! Regretfully Tom (the father) Passed away but Mike is certified ASE in all auto's! I will not take any of the 2 auto's I own to any other shop!
I recently had to have the engine replaced in my car and Tenyers was just fantastic. Friendly, informative, and timely. Very very nice people, and the cost was actually less than the estimate!
Took our car in to be properly diagnosed and fixed after a month of playing a guessing game and trying to fix it ourselves..really wish we would have taken it there sooner it took a day of diagnosing and the problem was found and for a very reasonable price later it was fixed and the car is running great!! So happy and pleased with the work done and the pleasant professionalism and the price! We will be taking our cars there to be worked on as needed and will recommend any one we know to go there too!

Best mechanics. Honest trustworthy fair. Noticed small things and fixed at no charge. Thorough oil changes with checks of filters, fluids, tires, lights, etc. Knowledgeable experienced and responsible. No hidden costs. Estimates are the real deal. Lifelong customer.
Tom and the guys do a great job of repairing vehicles. The best part is they treat you like family. Very friendly and professional. They know their stuff. Consider me a lifelong customer.
They do a great job on anything that doesn't involve electronics on any modern computer controlled vehicle. Although not the fastest in town you can expect a one day turn around in most cases.
