Today will unfortunately likely be my last day ever wasting my time coming here for "a deal". It's sad what I've watched this place become. I've been coming here since I was a teenager, Im 38 now. This place always used to have had a good reputation for rare finds, decent people and cheap prices! I can whole heartedly say that is not the case anymore! Their prices are super close to the same as any other lumber yard, box store I've ever gone too, like within $1-2 of brand new lumber anywhere else you can buy it. I saw their prices today and its so disappointing, they want hundreds of dollar per board for live edge wood I can literally buy the same live edge piece from the local habitate for humanity in Port Huron for $60 or less. The guy I talked to today who was not very friendly or personable at all in my opinion was trying to tell me how hes still able to charge $8/piece for 3" × 4" × 4' piece of decades OLD pallet dunnage (that's what I was looking for just 3 or 4 reasonably solid pieces) there were some in a big bin of some rotting wood that all looked to me came off old pallets they took apart. All different sizes and degrees of rotting. Now I'm not a guy to ask for anything to be free, I have no problem paying what something is worth but for a 4' piece of old lumber thats been sitting outside for decades he could have easily said take 4 for $4-5 and everyone would have been happy. When you tell me I can still get $8/each I think that sounds more like a conman than a salesman.
An excellent location for all sorts of project needs. From old iron to black walnut slabs and and everything in between. Treasure to be found and deals to be made, we will always consider Adair Salvage when doing projects, crafts and beyond. Never a dull moment. Friendly staff too.
This place is not a salvage yard. It is a construction building materials warehouse. The new owners are amazing. Joe help me save 80% on my windows compared to the big box. Incredible deal really hooks up veterans.
Great source for project puzzle project parts! Owner is outstanding......out by the lumber barn! I did not find the prices all that great, but when you are sooooooo far out in the outback, they're OK!
Was building a chicken coop for my wife and needed some things. Not only did they have what I was looking for but had things I didn't even know existed like chicken coop windows! Eric was always helpful and I'll be back for sure on other projects!
Always an interesting place. Not cheap but helpful. I know he has to make a living too. Great place to walk around and get ideas for projects. And find misolaneous items. I recommend
This place is great and the staff is very helpful. I went in not exactly sure of what I needed. The staff showed my multiple options and selection of wood to complete what I needed to build a custom bar. Can't wait to see the final product.
Great selection of building construction materials. They had radiators for our house that were exactly what we needed. Great prices, too! Got them home & painted & they are working great!
Stopped in to get a piece of steel stock for a repair to my farm disc. Got walked into the yard, directly to the size I needed that was in an ocean of steel in all profiles and sizes. These guys know what they have and where it is.
If you can’t find a deal here then your at the wrong place. I found so many things for my house and what a deal. The owner is very nice and reasonably. I have been coming here for over 20 years and hope to for another 20
This is the place you go when you need something for a project not the stupid box stores. This place has great service and a wide array of products both new and salvaged
This is a great place if you want to purchase doors windows different kinds of building material at a great price. I went to Home Depot they quoted me one door frame with door $140. I went to the salvage yard got each door for 50 bucks with the door frame and everything. I recommend to wear some waterproof boots it's very muddy.

Great deals to be had at Adair Salvage; plus the employees are very helpful and honest; the prices are more than fair; it appeared they have a little bit of everything; a lot of New items at used prices; some of what looked like hard items to find; do yourself a favor and make the call/drive to Adair Salvage you won't regret it.
