I went to muffler man on Thursday October 16th because my son’s car was kind of loud and we noticed an exhaust pipe under the car had started to come apart. I took it in and they told me it was a bad resonator and they could fix it in about an hour. I told them to go ahead and make the repair and I’d wait for it, they started the work and about 30 minutes later said “you’re all set”. The car sounds great and the price was fair and the staff was friendly. I would recommend them based off of my experience with them.
Did straight pipe, Sam recommended us what we should do and the car sounds amazing would recommend to anyone looking for muffler delete or resonator delete.
Came here one time before for a muffler delete month later I want it a lil louder came back and same excellent service again getting me in n out with no problem at all
Excellent service! I had an H-pipe installed and welded in about 30 minutes. The team walked me through the entire process and showed me the finished work — the quality of the installation was top-notch. Highly recommend this place for any exhaust work!
Quality service! Henry and the guys at Muffler Man were able to help me out same day for an issue with my exhaust system. Dealership wanted to charge me close to $1700 and the team at Muffler Man had me in and out in an hour and for $290! Will definitely be coming back to see them in the future when I need something done for my truck.
I needed a muffler replaced & tail pipe as well. These guys did a great job. Quick return of my vehicle. I brought it in Thursday 4:30pm. It was ready at 9:30am Friday. I would recommend this location to anyone!! Thank you guys!!

By far the best mechanic around. I've been here three times now for exhaust work, transmission replacement, and an oil pan replacement. Very friendly and are more than willing to work with your schedule. When ever I need an auto repair this will always be the first place I come to.

Probably some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered. I went in for a muffler installation and was quoted a price of $450 for an hour of labor. Sam had a very condescending attitude. Won’t be going there again and warning everyone of the same.

I wanted to add a double tailpipe exhaust system to my car myself. Unfortunately, my car comes with just a single tailpipe system from the factory, and because of that, I didn't have any mounting points for the second muffler.
I rolled up to the shop and Sam and his team quickly welded on two new hangers and bolted everything up in 40 minutes. The two exhaust tips are perfectly symmetrical to each other and I couldn't be happier with the custom work!
Wonderful service. I came in to get some mufflers installed on my straight piped car. They had me in and out within an hour. My car sounds so much better and the work is immaculate.
Avoid this place at all costs. I took my Focus RS to get the stock muffler welded back on. Wouldn’t give me a price of how much the work would cost or an average at least. They told me they would call me when the work was done. When I got there 4hr and 30min later he didn’t do any work and told me when he called it was to authorize the work to be done(I was busy and could not get to the phone.) On top of that he wanted $400 to get my muffler welded back on, ridiculous pricing. I came home and washed my car and saw damage on my driver side front on end(before and after pics included)I wasn’t planning on leaving a bad review but that crossed the line. Literally do not take your car here, they WILL NOT take care of you. They were recommended by some friends who had their cars worked on before by them and knew of Sam the owner so I had some trust they would do good work but ended up extremely disappointed.
Great shop for all my mechanical repairs, I’ve been coming here for years. Sam & Henry & the entire Muffler Man crew has been taking care of my family’s cars for close to a decade. Always honest and trustworthy.

Estimated 7 hrs. labor or won't touch it because they didn't supply it.
I went old school. Drove to Muffler man & met Sam.
Sam gave me great deal on the labor.
He had it in the bay & his crew started working on it within minutes.
1 1/2 hr. later, Sam's crew gave the V8 Coyote engine a voice.
I have been going to this Muffler Man for years and they have always had the best prices and the best service! They get the job done in amazing time and will never upcharge you for anything you do not need! Huge shoutout to the best repair shop between Sterling Heights and Troy combined! This place is absolutely the best not just exhaust shop or mechanical shop but best staff ever! Sam, David and there staff were honest and did an incredible job on my custom ram exhaust, wheel alignment and ball joint. I will return for future business and I will tell 100 others to come!
I sent my son over with his car missing half its exhaust system. They repaired what was necessary and left what was still good. Even though it cost more than I was hoping for, I feel I got a fair deal and that we were treated well.
Well the reason I’m giving a one star is because of the pricing and how they try to charge you way more. Don’t get me wrong, they did a good job installing it. But they wanted to charge me $600 just to install this exhaust. I talked them down to $350. And after u went to different exhaust shops and they all told me it would have costed me around $200!
Came here at the beginning of a winter to get my Catalytic Converter replaced. Porsche (/Volkswagen) uses flex joints on their exhaust that are known to break with time. The car sounded horrible and kinda was embarrassing to drive. I bought the new Catalytic converter off of ebay hoping I can replace it myself. But Michigan rust didn't help and the exhaust bolts were a pain to get to without a lift / heated garage.
These guys were honest with the job, I understand how difficult doing something like this is and they charged a reasonable price (I would ask the same kinda money if I had to do this work to someone)
They spent 2 days fixing the car and took care of all my concerns. At the end of the day, the car is as good as new and I can probably enjoy the car for much longer than I initially wanted to keep it. (I kinda wish I also had them do a muffler / resonator delete - because the car is extremely quiet now ) I'm more than happy with their service tho. Anything that I can't fix myself, I'll bring it in to these guys.
