Great small auto shop. Been shopping here for 20 plus years. If they don’t have it they’ll get it.
Wish their vehicle wasn’t parked in the handicap parking spot. I feel it’s disrespectful for us disabled individuals. May not seem like a big deal but there are days when that extra 15’ of walking is unbearable. I was there a week ago and it hasn’t moved. This has me considering to shop elsewhere for lack of respect.
Steve's Auto can bust you out some of the best quality hydraulic lines around. Plus, they possess tons of automotive/mechanical knowledge that is only possible from years of experience.
Remember auto shop in high school? When everyone was working on cars, or helping their friends? That's what this store feels like; friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, a small town business. Support local, even if it's a buck or two more (not usually the case), who cares, that money stays here, vs a big box store paying their "executives" millions who'll never step foot in Oxford.
Steve and his shop are the best auto parts supplier around. I have been shopping with Steve since the 90s and they remain my favorite place for grabbing parts or painting supplies. If they do not have it, they will have it very quickly
Steve rocks! I was stuck in a bad spot with my car, and after a dozen phone calls Steve was the only one who even entertained the idea of helping me on a Saturday afternoon. And on top of it, he repaired my damaged car part!
Steve's is great. Steve and his staff are friendly and professional. I am a small business owner in the car business and will continue to support a local business with competitive prices.
Hands down best people in oxford that you can buy parts from. Steves is also one of the few places you can have rotors cut or parts pressed. They also make hydraulic hoses which is huge and the mom and pop shop feel is in full effect.
Steve's auto is in my opinion the best place to go for the do it yourself mechanics like myself . But like any other business you'll find the competition will sometimes have a lower price on certian parts and vice a versa on other parts . I've had no problems with this automotive supply store well before my friend Steve took it over from last owner when it was Hanks auto . I've used the parts and advice since 1977 . This is an icon and excellent place for all your automotive needs . Hats off to Steve and all his staff . Keep up the good work my friend !!!
Nice traditional auto parts store, where the person behind the counter was probably not flipping burgers last week. They have a large selection and not everything is prepackaged. The prices are often inline with the chain stores.
