More affordable than the Chevy dealership mechanics. Great option for electric vehicles. Communicate very clearly about estimated time before they could service my car. Once they began work on my car they communicated via call, text and their portal about the issues they found. However they didn't ask me to approve the repair once they did the diagnostic. Fortunately it was not an expensive repair, but if it had been a more expensive repair I would have wanted to get permission before moving ahead with repair.

Really good service! But I’m sure I can’t afford to bring any of my others vehicles here for maintenance. They priced me right out of their good service.

High quality work, and very thorough. I had a steering issue on one vehicle and a misfiring issue on another. Completely fixed my problems. A little pricey, but well worth it.

There was some confusion and/or misunderstanding with a communication issue. But Patrick handled it very well. It was resolved. Great customer service! All in all, I have to believe they did a good job. So far so good. Thank you!

After reading the reviews here, I brought my car in. They did not disappoint one bit. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with good vibes! They were professional and courteous. They were transparent on how long it would take for the work to be completed and delivered! They got my got my car running as a smooth as my granny's Buick! (I have an older Hyundai). It's rides much sturdier and even sits higher. No more rattling and no more squeaks! I had both ball joints replaced as well as the sway bar links/stabilizer bar. I also had a brake job and a seized caliper replaced. Curt's is a place that I can trust where they know what they're doing and do good work and have great customer service.

Always love the work. Good value. Did not like that I was +15% what was discussed on the phone (no work done above what was discussed, “spark plugs were more expensive”) They did get me an uber … notes I guess

I was referred too Curt's auto repair by my former elderly neighbor Mo whom unfortunately passed away. Having said that Mo and I would talk about my bad experiences at Serra Chevrolet of Southfield where I purchased my 2015 Malibu the service advisor dishonesty such as my brakes was serviced by a non certified person Michigan regulatory department looked into my complaint and retrieved my money back from Serra Chevrolet of Southfield ect. Detroit Garage in Walled Lake went for simple emissions smoke test and trunk check automatic open wasn't working. No phone call for update or status of smoke test only the service advisor says my timing belt would be 2700 , his mgr says 3000.00 with oil change I'm flabbergasted. I told service advisor I'll be retrieving my car on a Saturday key in lock box my interior of car was noticeably damaged. Now the the good news is I finally called Curt's auto repair in Oak Park the auto repair shop my elderly neighbor Mo bragged about Curt's auto repair shop and referred me . I called Curt's January 13th 2026 spoke with a polite calm service advisor Patrick who listened to my need regarding a battery for my 2015 Malibu Patrick looked up the battery I asked if it was OEM Patrick says yes and lol I asked can you install a battery I purchase and lol Patrick said no we don't use any outside batteries or parts Curt's provide auto parts per request depending on auto repairs. I asked how much after doing my research Kelly Book and my dad former Journeyman. Patrick looks up the 2015 Malibu and why the price of this battery cost and installation is fair the battery is a large battery for engine's with stop/ start for instance when stopped at a light. Patrick explained the installation required manual labor for such a large long battery it's not your standard battery. Patrick gave me the size and lol we were both on the same page I was looking at the Kelly book. So I asked Patrick is it a OEM battery he answers yes. Price is fair I'm feeling confident in my service advisor Patrick we made an appointment too drop off my car. After I have a tow truck too come too my home. Tow truck driver arrives says don't turn off car until I reach Curt's auto repair. I gladly dropped it off daughter drove me back home and I felt good leaving my car at Curt's auto repair shop. The ambience was cool friendly and clean. Patrick my service advisor has the ability and expertise to give you answers with accountability and leaving you too decide if you want your auto repair done at Curt's. Absolutely No pressure at all from Patrick. I was chilled that whole Tuesday knowing my car is at a reputable auto repair shop Curt's. Patrick called me 4:15 pm next day Wednesday says your battery has been installed and that a inspection of the oil was a bit thick I told Patrick when the dashboard says remaining oil. I'm coming back too Curt's for oil change and any other work by having a 100pt inspection of my 2015 Malibu. I must say upon picking up my car it was busy I met Zac we chatted very chatty like me but customer's we're coming and Zac took care of the Curt's customer's. Wow that's when I met Jayson he showed me the Master mechanics certificates the adelco battery that was installed in my 2015 Malibu we dicuss I hadn't had battery issues since the purchase of my 2015 Malibu Jayson GM ACDelco.I told Jayson briefly about the auto repairs I've had bad experiences with and yes after your warranty runs out auto repairs are expensive too say the least and labor can cost more than the part itself. Bottom line we both agree finding a authentic auto repair shop is a competitive business. So I tell Jayson that's why I did my homework and had a referral from a customer. As a new customer I'm looking forward too finally trusting not any auto shop but Curt's auto repair shop that'll be straight forward with their auto repair cost upfront. I personally will be returning to Curt's for my 2015 Malibu auto services. My service advisor Patrick is straight forward again I personally experienced Absolutely No Pressure ! Customer sandy

Zach and the team did an excellent job with a bunch of repairs to my VW Tiguan. I had a general idea of what I needed (tires, oil changes, brake work, fluids, etc.), and they quickly provided an easy to understand report on the status of my vehicle. It was not in great shape, so I wasn't feeling too hot about seeing the damage at first. Plus I dropped my car off just before New Years Eve, and noticed their lot looked busy. Despite those challenges, they did a great job with the repairs at very reasonable prices. They also were attentive and responsive throughout. I recommend Curt's for anyone looking for an honest and accountable auto repair shop.

Taken my car in twice and both times had great customer service and got my car back in a timely manner. The guys at the desk were lovely and helpful. The mechanics did a wonderful job as well. Would recommend them to anyone and I will continue to come back!!

Customer service is top tier!!! I was going to a dealership for years and had many issues. Once I started going to Curt’s they explained everything for me to understand clearly. I recommend them 100%.

Everything was done to my satisfaction, except when I pick the car up it was covered in snow and I was left to clean it off myself. This took a while. When you pay approximately $500 for service, I don't think it's allowed to ask that your car be cleaned off from the snow when you pick it up

Always a top notch, A+ experience! They run a “well oiled,” machine! Greg even offered a free drink at an adjacent restaurant while I waited for my oil change. What a nice touch! They are a very professional, approachable, and personable team. It’s the only place I’ve had my car serviced for years!

Clean shop, job well done. Its like being at a dealership. Very professonal staff. Ive been there 2 times for differance repairs. And now Curt's is my auto go to guys. I now trust their work. I had endurance after market warranty. Witch they handled well for me.. call in or do it on your computer for a appointment.

Curt's was able to get my Jeep in quickly to diagnose the check engine light. I then received excellent updates online about issues with my Vehicle and I was able to approve or postpone any fixes. They were done with my car the same day I dropped it off! I am very happy with the service I received. If I had any complaints, it would be that the charge to diagnose is not waived when you move forward with the repair. I get that proper diagnosis takes time on these newer cars, though.

Came in for a flat tire to see if it could be patched/repaired. They got my car back quickly and gave me full detail report with pictures of the tire and where it was leaking. They weren’t able to repair it but they put my spare on for me so I could drive it to another place and get a new tire. They charged me nothing, such kind people and so helpful!

Called and asked them if they were able drop the trans and inspect it physically, they said yes. Instead they charged me $400 to drain and refill it twice, and never actually dropped it to inspect it. Also unplugged the accessory cabin lights and never plugged them back in. Very few information given to me. Never got an invoice or any sort of itemized bill. Certainly won’t be coming back here.

Came in needing new tires after 2 shops prior had no availability. Nick at Curt’s was able to help me out and provide friendly and efficient service at reasonable pricing. Safe to say I’ll be going to Curt’s for any future car issues!

Curt's has been our family's go-to for auto service for literally decades. They've always been fantastic! With all kinds of cars and every kind of issue, including some light fabrication work. They're a shop I feel comfortable recommending to anyone with no hesitation or reservation.

I brought my car in to Curt’s instead of the dealership on my BMW 7 Series car, because the dealership, in my opinion, made a mistake working on my car after giving it a simple oil change. After leaving the dealership my car started running terrible by misfiring, idling roughly, and leaving a big oil spot on my driveway within a few days. I knew then I had to take it back to the dealership, but had a better idea and chose Curt’s, and I’m all the better for going in that direction! Curt’s listened to the problem on the phone, set up a time for me to come in, kept me on top of things as they figured things out, and did a great job fixing the mistake that the dealership made. They also gave me a reasonable, great deal on the repairs that were done. They made my car run the way it normally does, and it runs great now! The PROBLEM WAS the dealership mechanic failed to tighten the oil cap which caused the misfires and other various codes I was getting on my Foxconn scanner. Curt’s put it on their scanner and it showed various error codes from the DME. Showing misfires from different cylinder numbers 4,5,8 They cleared the codes and drove it and could feel it misfiring, rescanned the DME and it was misfiring on 2, 3 cylinder. Seeing it was sporadic he took off the engine covers and sprayed the crank case regulating valves to check for leaks and they seamed ok. Can hear a heavy vacuum leak. It had caused a seal leak that allowed the oil to come out the right front section of the engine. Which allowed the oil to spray all over the underside of the engine and leak on the ground.

Highly recommend Curts. The service staff and mechanics took into account my basic knowledge of my car and talked to me at my level, not pandering or talking down to me because an assumption of my gender. Communication was excellent. I feel like they had me and my car as their primary interest. No upselling or surprise fees. A pleasure to work with!

I’ve been taking my vehicles to Curt’s for over 10 years. They provide detailed information and pictures when doing inspections. They do good work and charge fair prices. I’ve been to a few different garages in the area and Curt’s remains my favorite. It’s located next to some great places to eat or grab a drink if you prefer waiting for your work to get done too! ?? I live and work nearby and they sometimes give me a ride home or to work as well. They are very trustworthy and tech savvy, with easy payments and reports emailed as well.

Curt’s Service was my choice for a 2nd diagnostic opinion on a major car repair job. I initially took it to my dealership and after the diagnostic test, they came back with a conclusion and a repair cost that literally “knocked the wind” out of me! Took the car to Curt’s Service, and ‘lo and behold’ they came back with the same results. Because the vehicle was a 2018, I had purchased an aftermarket warranty from a well-respected company through my credit union. The dealership would NOT accept the warranty; however, Curt’s had a service professional in place that did. Warranty companies can be somewhat difficult to deal with, I’ve been told; however, Curt’s Customer Service representative, Nick, was FANTASTIC?He worked with them throughout the 8-day process, gave me one of Curt’s loaners, and kept the entire repair cost within what was allocated by the warranty company; with only a small out-of-pocket fee from me. I’m sure some back and forth negotiations were involved with the warranty company. I sincerely don’t think I could have had a better auto repair experience than this. Thank you NICK and thank you Curt’s for being customer-service centered. I have already recommended your business to many of my friends. Drove my car, after the repairs, to Chicago with two of my friends and it ran beautifully.
