My daughter's car broke down in the middle of the road and ultimately needed to be towed for repairs. Since we are not from the area, I didn't know any tow companies in the area so asked the local police officers that were helping her to arrange a tow with one of the companies they use. We are very thankful that they chose Monaghan's. The driver, Mike, got there quickly and got her and her car safely off the road and delivered to the repair shop for less money than I would have expected. Throughout the process Mike was professional, friendly, and kept things positive. We now know a reliable company to call if anyone else from our family or friends have car troubles in the area. Kim and the team of dispatchers are amazing. They really help relieve the stress and anxiety in a bad situation! Very professional, knowledgeable, and skilled drivers. Had my car towed here after an accident while things got figured out. They could not have been more helpful and reassuring throughout the process! Kim is amazing and all my anxiety was gone after talking with her. She went out of her way to look for options on next steps for me and I am so grateful. The drivers that towed my car were so nice and answered all my questions. If you need towing services this is the place! 10/10!!
This is by far the BEST towing company that I’ve EVER dealt with. My driver was Mikey and he was SOOO nice and polite. Very nice person and very knowledgeable and respectful. He arrived in time and quickly made it possible to tow 2 vehicles at once. The other vehicle was a very small vehicle so this is why both vehicles were able to be towed at once. This is truly my favorite and forever towing service. If I need a tow again it will be Monaghan’s Towing. The price is fair also. Thanks Monaghan’s for a job well done!! A very satisfied customer for life!!

It was 235 the day they impounded/towed it, then 20 per day.
Don't get imponded/towed in Detroit!! It was 465 today but also 20 per day.
State troopers and MI legislative did post that the rates would go up this year 125-250 per normal sized vehicles. If you have an oversized vehicle, the rates are 250-400 more than last year.
Today in Detroit, SOME dude called to get his truck/trailer out and it was 885 DOLLARS

Extremely polite and helpful. Scheduling the tow was quick and easy, and the gentleman who picked up my vehicle was extremely professional and careful with my car.
Mike and Chris helped me out of a big jam last night. My car was on the third level of a parking garage nosed in and they managed to get it out without a problem. It took a little extra work but it was no sweat for them. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Wouldn’t recommend these guys to move anything, waited 2 hours for the driver to come when I was told 1 hour. The guy came out told me he could do it, then he goes on the phone and after 5 minutes he gives me my keys and runs off to his car because they got a different call. The owner had the most childish explanation, terrible experience, terrible organization. Save your time.
February 16th, 2024 our car died on Woodward during rush hour. I called and 20 minutes later, Mike came to our rescue. Couldn't have been nicer if they tried. The gentleman that answered the phone was very nice and Mike was awesome. Very much appreciate the help and prompt response.

Great customer service! Kim was friendly and informative when taking my tow request. She even made a follow up phone call after completion. Mike the tow driver called to let me know my Jeep was on his truck and on it's way to the mechanic. I was impressed.

Had my vehicle break down on the expressway, called and had a truck there in 15-20 minutes. The driver Joe was very friendly and professional, appreciate the fast response and great attitude and skilled driver. Would recommend to anyone who needs an affordable tow without the cost of reliability or professionalism.
Chris went above and beyond for us. We drove to the tow lot for another car that had gotten into a crash. Our van’s key fob batteries died which prevented it from turning on.
While waiting for my wife to come bring a spare key, Chris went way above a beyond and replaced the batteries.

I hate all impound shops and think very bad thoughts about them. However, this was the first time I did not have a hard time getting a vehicle back (for a friend) and I did not have to cuss them out and curse their children. They were cooperative and somewhat friendly.
SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN. My car was picked up by Mikey 89 for a 2 mile tow to The Tire Shoppe in Ferndale. When I picked up my vehicle from the Tire Shoppe 2 days later my glove box was empty, things from the rear of the vehicle were in the front seat and strewn about the back seat, my stash of laundry quarters for my children was gone, and everything in the center console was gone. I would like to believe it wasn't someone at the Tire Shoppe since 2 weeks prior they had my vehicle for repairs over a 2-3 day span and the same items were left in their respective places throughout the vehicle when I picked it up. However, shady dealings happen everywhere. However, the opening for wrong-doing didn't occur until Monaghan's was used. And I was told "You can report us all you want to but nothing will be done" when I called to complain. We shall see.
I got into an accident and needed my car towed at 5:30 this morning. After calling dozens of other places with no luck, they came through. The truck arrived quickly, and the man who helped me was excellent and made this whole experience much easier for me. Definitely would use this service again.
There are good staff and there are bad staff here, but this company also serves as an impound service. I had to pay extra money for my car to be taken here without my knowledge from an accident in which I wasn't even at fault for. Something just isn't right with how they're operating.
Best customer service from the driver and office staff. The driver even arrived before the police did. He made sure we had a ride before he left and offered to take us to meet family. Highly recommend.
DO NOT USE!!! Tow truck driver picked my car up at 1:50, the drop off location was only 17 mins away. It took the driver 1 hr and 7 mins to drop my car off and we pulled off at the same time. When I called the tow company they told me two different lies, First “he had to go to another call”. 10 mins later “oh he had to get gas”. My question is WHY would you go to another call with MY CAR on the tow bed and didn’t tell me, second if you had to get gas that doesn’t take a hour. I don’t know what they was doing with my car, for him to redirect like that and not tell me was very suspicious. STAY AWAY.
Arrived in a timely manner, got my vehicle towed to the shop with zero issues! Driver was very polite, and I will definitely use this company again if I need a tow!
I was in a multi-car collision on 8 mile road near Coolidge in Oak Park. The experience - was awful. Accidents are followed by difficult steps. Monaghans Towing Company is excellent. Their office staff and the man who towed my car are all kind, courteous and helpful! They are professional and understand the 'human side' stressful situations.
