It wasn't an issue of quote or being directed to call somewhere else. It was the problem of whoever was at the phone that day, talking in a demeaning way as if I was hard of hearing.
These people are complete jokes.. I’ve called around to five different places to get a quote, they all told me $450 for the vehicle that I’m looking to junk.. These pricks offered $50. Call around.

Abbeys process was so quick and easy. I called with my car information and the guys were here to pick it up within two hours, exactly like I was told on the phone. This company went above and beyond in my time of need. My vehicles engine went out and I gave them a call, they immediately came to the car lot to pick up my vehicle. However, I did Not have the title as I thought I did Inside. They went out their way to come to my home (knowing that I don’t have transportation) to pick up the keys and the title for the vehicle. They gave me $450 which is a good price considering the engine was blew out. Thankyou!

Was very very accommodating to my chaotic schedule. They offered me top dollar for my 1996 Plymouth Voyager (and even came to tow it away) compared to other companies and was not upset over my along for a quote and to shop around. Other places seemed upset that I wanted to shop around and not agree to them picking it up for half the cost.
I like how this is a small family owned business. I also liked how fast, courteous, professional and easy going this company was in helping me get rid of my junk van and paying me a more than reasonable rate for it... Also not not trying to talk me down in price when they arrived as well!

I could not recommend this company more. My engine blew on my 2007 Malibu. Within 20 minutes of calling A-1 Abbey's, I literally had cash in my hand. I don't remember the gentleman's names (I'm sorry) but they were professional, quick, and informative. Besides the whole engine blowing up thing, the process was smooth. 😊

Can I give less than one star? I was told to meet STEVE at my vehicle at 3:00PM. I called him at 3:05, having arrived 15 minutes early to clean out the truck. He answered saying he's already come and gone and told me my vehicle is not the model I stated. Although the make and model are listed right on the vehicle. He continued to say he will not be coming back but would like $200 for it. (How can I exchange a vehicle for cash without the person present?) He then hung up on me and texted me saying it was not the correct model. He then said "Thanks for wasting my time" HE MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME DID NOT SHOW UP AND THEN TOOD ME I WASTED HIS TIME.... the man can't read the make and model listed on a vehicle. He hung up on a customer to then text them rude comments, to the point I HAD TO BLOCK HIM. Nevertheless AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!! Unprofessional, harrassment, incompetent, and a DISGRACE to the business...
