If you ever get into an accident, be prepared to be ripped off by these people.They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They’ll tow your car away without giving you options and then charge you hundreds of dollars.The longer they keep your car the more the charges pile up. If you try to have your car towed back by another company (like AAA) they won’t allow it. Instead they’ll make up excuses about “special insurance and sticker type shit needed for the towing service to tow your car from them if you have your own towing service” so basically you have to use their towing service to get your car back indeed just to squeeze more money out of you. On top of that, they don’t accept credit cards,debit cards, or even change you must bring the exact amount in cash to get your car released.I had a terrible, nightmare experience with them. I was forced to pay $500 just to get my car back after one single night. Once they have your car, they take advantage of you because they know you do not have options and in a trap of their system,be ready for a frustrating and expensive ordeal. I truly hope no one else has to go through what I did.
Lady that answers phone is so disrespectful. Instantly lost my business. So extremely unprofessional. I would rather be stranded than give my money to someone that is so crude
This company blatantly lied to me and withheld my vehicle from me for over a week costing us hundreds of dollars in storage fees. We went up there the day after it was impounded to take care of it and they lied and told us the title and documents were not in the vehicle.. when they were in the glove box precisely where we advised them to look. Trashy staff and rude “customer service” - what a joke of a ‘company’…
My car was towed on Saturday night took it on Monday, got it towed to my collision shop, less than 10 miles, total cost $500. Be prepared to pay that much if your car is towed by the police.
Bottom of the barrel company don't waste your time. My vehicle was in a accident. They withheld my truck from a wrecker service that had their liability paperwork in order to scrap up another day of storage. The reason they have allot of things for sell is because they " legally" stole it from the public. I'm an experienced wrecker driver and they do NOT have a good reputation in the Towing community. Will be filing a complaint with the city of Warren about their contract. Further more "first thing in the morning" turned into after 3:30pm the next business day. Which I'm sure is another day of storage. Unbelievable. Thanks Neuners... Oh and thank you Bob great customer service talking trash to my driver.
The accident was on 12 mile between Hoover and Van Dyke to eventually get it over the collision shop they charged $765.00 and even after driving it up their deck to tow it cut my power cables. "That's protocol for the fire department to do." I'm sure.
First off, the radiator they were trying to sell me had a broken upper inlet. Second, I found a part I'd been looking for that is vehicle specific to install a radio for my truck. It is not actually a part of the radio or has anything to do with it functioning. I inquired if I could replace it with a mount that I had and purchase the one that was on the radio. Making an offer of $25, which was half the price of the radio granted, whoever buys it is gonna replace it with the proper one for their vehicle. They said they can't do it cause that's how it came out of the vehicle. So after the attempted sale of a broken part and a offer of swapping a installation bracket on top of trying to purchase it after giving them a replacement so "it would be together like it was when pulled" I ordered it off Amazon for $15 and will have it tomorrow. I'll continue with my attempt to support local small businesses, but not one's like this that doesn't even know what they are doing or what they have. No wonder Amazon is still putting small businesses under everyday and I hate the fact that I had to contribute to it but it's something that is beneficial for the public in this case. Maybe they should stick with the towing side of their business as it started with. Leaving the used parts recycling to the professionals who are very knowledgeable about their business and not just trying to increase their revenue.
Don't EVER deal with these crooks. They held my car hostage and refused to let a other tow company buy if for scrap unless I paid extra to them to tow it. They are racketeering. If you go don't say you weren't warned.
After an accident in Grosse Pointe, the officers called Neuners Towing, which owns 4 tow places including Woods Towing. The driver refused 3 times to take my car to the body shop I requested, which would have been a mile and a half away. Instead, taking it to their lot, where it languished for 4 days, instead of being addressed at the body shop right away Monday. It's my car, I should be able to put it where I want. This way they get my insurance to pay for the tow to their yard, the tow back to the body shop and the storage fees that accrued that were unnecessary. I suggested Grosse Pointe address this since their contract is with them.
Picked up my wifes car as planned and they contacted Belle Tire to coordinate with the after hour drop box for the vehicles key. Completely satisfied and have already recomended this businesses services to my colleagues and will use again in the future. Thanks to Anna and Matt! 5 star Company...
Bill's Tow Yard....I wish I could give a 0 because that's what they deserve and that's being kind.This place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE, not to mention the customer service is deplorable. My car was towed to this place after an accident, at no fault of mine and when I went to retrieve my car, it was nothing but a complete hassle. The staff barely wants to acknowledge you and they make you wait forever. I had a tow truck pick my car up, 1st I was told there would be an additional $45 fee for them to pull my car to the gate because I wasn't using their people, then when the tow truck finally arrived I was told he wasn't authorized to enter the tow yard because that company wasn't approved. The man suggested I use their company for an additional $145 or have AAA dispatch one of their (Neuners) trucks, so I did just to get it over with. Absolute complete horrible experience to say the least. After 2 visits and sitting there for hours trying to get an "authorized company" to tow my car, I finally got my car.
This place full of crooks got into an accident wasn't my fault.tried to charge me close to $400 bucks to get my car. Had no choice but to leave it. I got a chance to clean the car out. I had money in my car, some coins that were dear to me, and the tow truck driver stoled them.
To the driver, they stole my coins.
You know who you are.
And I'm sure you've stolen from 100 innocent victims since my accident.
When you call they tell you on the phone getting access to your car is easy, when you show up it's a different story and there are so many hoops to jump through. Guy that runs the front desk has an attitude as well. Glad using this place wasn't by choice. Hope I never have to return here.
My husband passed away in a motor cycle accident when I went there to get the bike they were so awful to me asking for a Will which I already had a death certificate, Title, marriage license etc. The detective who was handling the case had notes on file etc… Stating I wouldn’t have any issues getting signing the bike over. I still felt pressure. I had to pay $790.00 cash. I had 800.00 the guy told me I don’t have change.. really? It’s a 10.00 difference know the gentleman who is picking my husbands bike up from my attorneys office out in Bay City. I said ma’am don’t worry about it. I have you for the extra three dollars. The gentleman didn’t even wanna offer me anything. All he would say yes ma’am I don’t have change. Never dealt with anyone like this in my entire life. I don’t ever want to do it again. I know so many tow companies that would never act this way or treat anyone as if money was the issue. If you don’t have to deal with Neuner‘s/bills towing I recommend you never have to do this specially if it’s a fatality. Horrible experience.
This place was very efficient and fast. Our tow truck driver Bob was very friendly and professional. Neuters came to the rescue after we tried multiple other towing agencies with no luck. They made our morning after sitting and waiting for other tow companies for 5-6 hours they came in less than 30 minutes and got my car home!!! Amazing people and amazing service.
I called here bc once again trying to get Progressive roadside assistance to arrange a tow was a fruitless two hour ordeal. I was quoted 30 minutes, then was updated to ten, I believe he showed up even sooner. The service tech was very professional, friendly and patient given it was freezing out and I had three young kids with me. He did accept my credit card, not sure what the other review was referring to. I would use this company again in a heartbeat, great experience!
Apparently Neuner's cares about themselves and not their customers, and, doesn't stick to their word. Purchasing was easy, returning impossible. I called to start the return process on an engine I purchased, prior to the 30-day warranty expiring. They told me they would honor the return, start the return/shipping process, and get back to me. They never called back. I called again a couple weeks later. The new guy says I can't return something past the 30-day period and wouldn't work with me on the return. "you can't return something to the grocery store that's expired" he advised. I suggested it was their employee that said they would honor the return. "Well that was probably the guy that got terminated today" he quipped. Great stuff, Neuners.
Jimmy that flat bedded my 1967 Pontiac was very professional. He made sure my car was safe and secure before transporting. Plus he arrived 30 minutes before I was told they would. Can’t argue with that! Great service! Will use again.
What a joke! Sold me an engine with a hole in it and then wanted me to pay them a restocking fee. Not happy. Never again. They lost a lot of business because of this.
On January 30 I called AAA for a tow to the dealership service department. After the quoted time passed, I called again and they said the driver is going to get gas and will be there in 30 minutes. Overall the truck came 3 and a half hours after I called them. It was a very snowy day so I kind of get it. The driver, Joe, was very, very friendly and careful with the car. He made our day and the only reason for the 5 stars, otherwise it would have been 2 stars.
This company is complete garbage. They gave me a three hour wait time estimate. I called at 1pm and was told they would be there by 4:15pm. I was then told they would call when they were on their way so I could come to my car and meet them. At 3:48 they called to tell me they were on their way and would be there in 10-15 minutes. I told them I would be there in 15 minutes. I arrived fifteen minutes later and they had left. They told me they wouldn't wait for me and had left five minutes ago despite me clearly conveying my time frame. I asked if they could send the truck back and they replied that they had already been paid, closed the account, and wouldn't come back. I asked to speak to a manager and the person on the phone laughed and hung up on me.
I guess they are called Bills towing now.
Terrible customer service. Got into an accident and my vehicle was towed there. I called so they can transfer my truck to a collision shop nearby. Really rude people answering the phone. Will update if they are nicer in person

Bill called me back at 830AM, what a relief because i was dreading calling them. He informed me he will be taking my car to the collision shop as soon as they open. Made me feel comfortable.
Bill get rid of the two Joe's that work there and get more people like you.

I called my AAA Road Service and they contacted Neuner's for me. The first truck arrived in about 15 minutes. He tried to jump my battery but that wasn't the problem. So he sent a flat bed truck to take me home. I just waited another 20 minutes and he pushed me out of the handicap parking spot as I sat in his truck and shortly we were at my house. Very professional, very nice, courteous, and polite!!! I would definitely recommend this company to EVERYONE I KNOW!!!
