On 1/22/26 my son took my Traverse here because he accidentally washed the key in the washer machine. We asked for them to program a new key. The original was malfunctioning. Matt Ackerman was the service advisor. At first he said it would be about $580. I approved. Then the next day he calls and says it was no other way to program w/o 2 keys! Bringing the price to 940. That's 2 keys with programming. I told him that wasn't true. I didn't need 2 keys. He doubled down. I came to get my car and he tried to force me to pay $150 for diagnostics. I laughed. We told you what was wrong with they key. I didn't ask you to fix it I asked for another one. I asked to speak with the manager Scott. He never came to hear my issue. However he did wave the fee. I went to the other dealership on Vandyke. They confirmed it didn't need 2 keys and fix it for 358+tax. Don't get scammed by the sells reps. Doubled check with more than 1 dealership.

After a horrible experience down at Ed Rinke Chevrolet I spoke to a gentleman in the service department Matt who was extremely helpful and was able to get my vehicle back to me in a timely fashion unlike the other dealership I'd highly recommend talking to Matt for some service needs i only gave four stars so that I can get five stars next time

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Hamiliton Chevrolet, but I want to give special recognition to a few employees. These 3 employees that I have dealt with the past 2 weeks have have been nothing but amazing. All 3 have been EXTREMELY patient, helpful, they listened to my concerns, answered any and all questions, were compassionate with everything I went through with my car that unfortunately became totaled due to flood damage. No matter how many times a day I called or emailed, they never once treated me as if I was a bother. Very professional from beginning to end. I now have a new 2025 Chevy Trax bought from Hamiliton. Top notch service!! Matt at the front is very honest and informative told me exactly what’s going on with the car and what it’s gonna take to get it back to driving how it should. Brittany was amazing! She stayed in contact with me through the whole process. She was there to answer any questions by phone or text. The day that I arrived at the dealer she had the car cleaned, gassed, and ready to go. She made sure the car was in the garage so that it wouldn't get dirty. The paperwork was organized, and ready to be explained and signed. Brittany went over every detail of the vehicle and the dealership itself. She helped set up my OnStar and my favorite Sirius radio stations.

My vehicle was hit by my neighbors while it was parked in the street. Scott from the body shop helped take great care of me and coordinated with my insurance company making it seamless for me. My vehicle had pretty bad damage and it was fixed and returned to me within 2 weeks. Thank you!

Dialed in several times today - can’t get an actual human on the phone. Tried to schedule service for a 2025 vehicle and also inquire to make sales appt to lease 2026 vehicle. Amazing how this dealer has lost the human touch- just an endless loop of automated prompts and then you get dumped into a voicemail box. Ridiculous! Hope the ownership sees this review and maybe gets some humans to answer calls, I’m sure they are losing business and sales from all these missed calls.

Very professional employees and quick service. They don't overcharge you or recommend service you don't need. They have a shuttle service, but their waiting room is very comfortable with a convenient work area with computer access, etc.

I purchased my Chevy at a different Chevy dealership and that other dealership made it extremely difficult to even get all my regular manufacturer services. It was literally 3 years of waiting on a chip i needed. They were too lazy to just make the call and order in my chip. 4 manufacturer orders later and no help.

If you are wanting to buy or lease a vehicle please go here. If you are in need of a service center go there and see Matt. I had such a bad experience with Wally Chevrolet that I wasn't ever going back there where, I bought and paid in full my car from there; however, I will tell you to go to Hamilton for any of your needs. They are polite, nice and compassionate about your vehicle even down too the shuttle ride he was the bomb. Thank you Hamilton for taking care of my needs that Wally didn't do. One happy customer!!!!!!!!

My car had cam shaft leak i took it to hamilton. Matt was the service representative they said the car is ok and i took it back and it was still leaking. I took it back to them. My car stayed there for almost a month and half at the end the manager i think his name is scott and matt told me they can't fix it because its not leaking enough for them to fix. They said they drove the car and it wasnt leaking i took the car back and drove it for a week and it was leaking i sent videos to matt again him and scott said its not leaking enough to be fixed. I took the car somewhere else and they fixed it right away for me and gave me a rental right away. These guys are not doing their job and i will be filing a complaint with GM.

Finally got the correct part number for my G8 base model to get a replacement timing chain cover. Although they had none, the number he gave me allowed me to find the part on ebay. My 2 year search is over!

I had brought my 2021 Buick Encore in for service. Matt definitely made sure to get every issue i had fixed. Very courteous and great service. I originally bought my 21 encore at Ed Rinke and serviced there which they couldn't find the issue. Matt and the service team found and fixed all my issues that I had mentioned. I am very glad I had switched to Hamilton Chevrolet.

Wanted to thank service staff for a wonderful job repairing parents vehicle. Vehicle was in for service multiple times. No one could figure out what was happening and why till Matt from service assured me entire vehicle would be looked at to determine the issues which is exactly what happened . Matt and staff went out of their way to make sure vehicle was repaired and parents would be safe driving it . Vehicle runs like new appreciate all the time that was put into the vehicle to assure my parents safety . Thank you to entire staff including management for all your help . I bought a car from here and it was overall a good experience. I don't live nearby, but over the phone I put a deposit down and the salesperson answered all my questions. A few days later they brought the car all the way to a sister dealership near me so that I could test drive and then buy the car.
So they did go above and beyond in bringing the car to me and matching the trade in offer I had received elsewhere. They handled all the paperwork and I spent very little time other than test driving the car.
The car was the best deal around for that model, as well.
My only issue is they sent me photos of the car saying it would be cleaned before they brought it, but it looked the same. The detailing was either skipped to save money or just not done very well. I ended up getting the car detailed for $150 and it now looks 100% better. The detailer said some places around the seats made his rags turn black.
They did not offer to help with the detailing even though I mentioned it.May 02, 2022
