I do appreciate the convience of dropping of my recycles. I arrived today to find the gates closed.Web site said they were open. Very disapointed.

I absolutely love that the town has this facility. The people that work and volunteer here are wonderful and always so friendly. Recycle everyone!♻️

This place is great. People are friendly, usually wednesday are in and out in 10 min or less, and that's with a box truck full of cardboard.

We come here 1x a month. I am so incredibly grateful for this facility and the people who made/make it happen. The reasonable membership is worth every penny.

A very consciousness recycling setup. Too many people treat their recycling like garbage which ends up contaminating the lot. I Appreciate their dedication to good recycling and I have NO problem sorting, rinsing, flattening my recyclables. We ALL need to take better responsibility for our own refuse. Period.

They try hard and are kind and considerate people, but those types are rare so the times opened are very limited due to lack of volunteers. Good place for responsible adult seniors in High School ... looks good on a resume. Come on Livingston County!

All the volunteers are wonderful. They are a well-oiled machine, fast and efficient. Very impressive.

People here are dedicated and helpful. I always feel certain that items I bring here will be responsibly handled and will end up in the recycling stream as promised. That is not always true with those companies who pick up curbside.

Maybe I am spoiled, but I definitely miss the all-day, all-the-time recycling drop off center near Lansing that has a larger list of accepted items and is free to the public. This just feels limited in time, recyclables, and money in comparison. Probably an apples to orange comparison somehow someway, but that was my experience before. This place is only open a couple days a week for a few hours, so there is usually a 5-15 minute wait since everyone has to go at the same time. It is a $40 a year membership (or something like $7 per drop). Furthermore they don't take some types of glass nor any plastic outside of 1's and 2's. For all that, you're expected to pre-sort all your recyclables so volunteers can take them out of your car and dump them for you. Most volunteers are super friendly, while some will definitely let you know when you sorted your different types of paper incorrectly. Overall the volunteers are great and thank you for donating your time to dump our recyclables for us. Stinks they shrunk their accepted items list even further about a year ago, but I suppose that is business. Still though -- this is better than nothing and better cost wise than the curbside options that are 4x the yearly price.

Friendly people (mostly volunteers). Don't have to wait very long. Periodic collections of other difficult to clear waste.
