Joe at Hartland Towing and Garage was amazing! Stayed late and waited for us on the holiday weekend to fix our tire after a blowout on 23. Super friendly and accommodating and fast! We were back on the road in about 20 mins.

I had an excellent experience. Hartland towing came out and help me unlock my fuel door in the matter of minutes. Super nice service. Thanks so much!

Joe saved my bacon today. I am highly satisfied with his work. Winter sucks, and especially when you don't have any friends who live close by. Joe saved me the expense of having my car towed to the tire shop and provided me with a new tire and put it on for me. All the stress I've been feeling for over three days has been lifted from my shoulders. I will gladly have my vehicle needs met by Hartland Towing and Garage in the future.

Alternator went out, was picked up and towed to shop and back on road within hours, not days. Thankful to Joe and the crew for acting fast!

This is the 2nd time I’ve called Here after hours needing help and he answered the call. I work Construction and get out sometimes at dark. Both times it was after 8 pm and the man helped me. Joe is an amazing person who went the extra mile to get me back on the road. Once a flat tire that needed to be mounted on a different rim to a busted exhaust just the other day. Joe does things that service stations used to do in the past. He goes the extra mile to get you back on the road!! Thanks again Joe!! You are the last of a dying breed my freind!! God Bless!!!

Got a flat on my way up north. Called here they recommended a great tow truck service and when the tow truck realized they couldn’t help me with the flat they took me here on a Sunday night where he changed my flat for a reasonable price and in a timely manner!

Joe was able to help several of my neighbors who were all stuck on an icy dirt road. No other towing companies were willing to help given our road issues but Joe and his colleague got the job done safely and at a cost that was extremely fair!

Very expensive towing. Plus they added a 100 dollar fee for getting it out of the ditch, even though it is no difference if you hook it up on the road or slightly on the side of the road. Same work but they get you. It's not like it was far in the field.

I just wanted to thank you for flying the American flag so high & prominent! Headed southbound on US23, I saw it about a mile or so away, high above all the trees. Spectacular!

Joe is a great man, what can I say? If you need any car services, call him! He will come help you! Ignore the reviews from years ago…. Great, honest guy who works probably way harder than he should!! We started a drive out to frankenmuth on Saturday, and began to have issues on the freeway. It was divine intervention that we pulled off onto the exit that we did. There was an autozone right there, we pulled in and pulled up google. Hartland towing & garage was the first place we called and the last place we needed to. Joe was to us at AutoZone within 30 minutes. Took him 10 seconds driving to know what was wrong. We followed him to his shop down the road and waited for a ride. He had our car done and fully repaired by 8:30 sunday evening. When we picked it up, he showed my husband where all my fluids were, how to check them, and what they should look like. He also offered us a set of used tires for our vehicle (which we happened to be looking for) for a good deal, and offered to hold them until our next paycheck as well. From our experience, this shop is run by a very hard working, honest family man. I may be from out of town but I will 100% make the drive to use his services again.

Car started having trouble mid afternoon on a long drive, needed help before I could get back on the road. They stuck around awhile after hours to finish the repairs for me. I was back on my way and made it home that night thanks to their efforts. If I lived anywhere nearby, I'd definitely use their services again!

Joe came out to pull my car out of the snow at a late hour. He communicated with me about how long he would be to get here and during his drive over. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He had my car pulled out of the snow in less than 15 minutes. He gave me tips in case I was stuck again. I am very thankful for Hartland Towing!!

Got a flat tire over Thanksgiving weekend and Joe was quick to respond and very professional. Hopefully won’t need to but will be calling Joe if I get in a similar situation!

If you ever get a flat tire - Don’t call these people! They say they are coming but never show up! Local person who will never do business with this company.

In a BIG bind! Use my car all day, everyday, for work and even though I managed to get it home to Hartland from Lansing was frantic to find a garage that could fix me FAST. Called and got Joe, the owner and son of the original owner. "Bring it on over" he said. Spark plugs, coils, oil change. Very reasonable rate with discount for cash. Great progress communication. 24 hours later it was running and perfect. We will be repeat customers and definitely recommend!

Sometimes you have a situation that can only get better, hopefully. Bill and Bill were my hope.... I wish I could thank those two everyday from now....till then.... If you are lucky to meet Bill or Bill, be grateful, I am and shall always remember them for everything they did for me..... THANK YOU.

My son was stranded on the side of Us 23 last night,a Sunday night, and Joe stopped to see if he needed help. He met us at his shop at 8 p.m. and mounted a tire on my son's rim. Had us going in under 30 minutes. We live 2 hours away and had no idea who to call. And he did not over charge! Thanks Joe for helping us out of a bad situation!

Joe was amazing! I was in town for a wedding and my driver side window wouldn’t roll up. I needed to get to rehearsal and Joe was very helpful and friendly; he had me on my way again within 30 minutes.

The most exceptional service, Joe who owns the shop is always down to help no matter the problem, provides extra service just to make sure your car is running smooth and safe. And price-wise couldnt ask for anything better. 5/5 would recommend

This is a bit of a late review, but a couple of months ago, we had a wheel fall off right down the road. They took great care of us, towed us to their place, and got us back on the road that same day for a reasonable price. They even stayed a little late so we could pick our car up after we got off work. Thankful that we used them, they were absolutely great!!!

I have taken my vehicles and other equipment to this shop many times. These guys can fix anything. They have the equipment and the know how. All the heavy equipment recovery pictures in the lobby are great examples of what they are capable of pulling off.

If there was less then one star that's what I would give! Where do I start? First after I was told 30 min for a tow and waited 2 hrs we were finally towed to this garage. I was told it would be diagnosed in the morning so I drove there at 9 and waited to 11 until he showed, he ripped the dog house out of my van, told me I needed a intake gasket and it would be $900 I decided not to have him do the work because there wasn't even a bay to do it in. He told me a tow truck was on the way to tow me home so I waited 2 hrs and had to call someone else. Ended up being an upper radiator hose. Shake my head. I hate leaving bad reviews but DO NOT have your car worked on here.

Owner is a great guy & goes out of his way to help however he can. Always had very reasonable rates and repairs done within a couple days, and that was when I let him know I wasn't in a hurry.

Place is described as a truck repair facility. They don't even have a shop they can get truck into. I had a truck there for 9 days to have transmission installed. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. No certified mechanics and run by a bunch of crack heads. I went to take my car in there and I could not believe the guy running the place claimed to be the owner couldn't walk or talk straight and wanted me to pay up front in cash only. What a joke this place is.
