State Farm dispatched Ryan's Towing twice in 2 weeks for my car.
The same driver was on duty and he was fantastic. I wish I would've gotten his name. He was so patient and tried everything he could to start my car and when it had to be towed he made the process very simple for me.
I would recommend Ryan's to anyone who needs service. They're awesome!
An Amazon driver was stuck in a deep ditch near my home and needed a tow. It would have been a busy day for their business but they came out very quickly and when the driver saw the tow would require a special type of truck he called and got another one on the way rather than causing more damage by yanking it out with the regular style. The next driver with the double pulley had the vehicle out quickly and saved it from further damage. The price was very fair and the service was superb.
What once was my favorite place turn to for help is now the last place I will ever go to my boyfriend got stuck in our very long driveway the morning and after a long morning of digging we gave it a rest and called a couple places. Do to how bad the weather is everyone has a very long wait, he is not familiar with the Rockford area so i mentioned this place to him told him they are amazing, spoke to soon. The representative was very snappy and demanding I know the exact model of the vehicle in my response was okay we have a very long driveway can you give me 5 minutes to go see what it is. Her response: like I said I need the model of the car to assist you, to which I respond I understand I just asked for a few minutes to go check, she snaps back saying your boyfriend isn’t sitting right next to he doesn’t know it with a snarky laugh, it’s a work vehicle not personal all we knew was it was a small Chevy truck I start heading down the driveway and few moments go by here her on the other end “okayy…” and hangs up. I call back asking for somebody else to assist considering I asked for a couple of minutes to grab the information which she tells me no she is the only one there and told my I was being abusive, excuse me?? To which I ask to be transferred to Ryan ( the reason I turned to them in the first place) and let her know I will be telling him I had horrible service to her response “cool I live with him” wowww is that an excuse for how you treated me, no problem thank you for letting me know that. I will not be returning as a customer ever.
I was part of the multi car accident on southbound US-131 outside of Rockford. With everything going on, Dan (my tow truck driver) was great to work with. He was fast, efficient, and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend Ryan's Towing to anybody that can use them.
Roy came and pulled my car out today after being quoted 30-40 minutes, and made it in about 25! He was extremely kind and helped calm my nerves and made sure I was safe for a few miles. Will definitely call again if needed!
Cannot thank Ryans (specifically Ryans dad) enough for their incredibly quick, friendly service. I got pulled off the drive just enough that I got stuck and despite trying to use a pull rope, I got stuck worse and with the pole, it was tricky but the driver was super savvy and navigated the pole perfectly and was so kind to me. Thank you for beating my insurance company’s dispatch by 2 hours and for helping this poor girl out! Couldn’t recommend them more
Super friendly staff when my mom called, had locked my phone, keys, and computer in my work truck at my shop, while it was running! Luckily I was able to use my smart watch to call my mom for help. The tow truck driver arrived within 15 minutes and unlocked my truck quickly. He also had to come down a heavily snowed in dirt road that leads to my shop and was clearly a super skilled operator. He was extremely friendly and happy to help. No damage to my prized custom built denali truck. (Have had other company's ruin the rubber door seals on other vehicles in the past) I will definitely be calling this place again for a tow or if I lock myself out of any of my vehicles in the future. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks for getting me back on the road to run my business in a speedy and professional fashion! Turned a not so great start to my work day into a positive experience!

The driver broke my gas tank, I filmed it gushing out, spoke with the owner Ryan, and he told me to eat bricks. I wouldn’t trust this company with anything. It was a young inexperienced driver that admitted to breaking the tank!
Highly recommend! I had a great experience with them from dispatch to my driver Dan who was extremely helpful and friendly! Definitely give them a call if you're ever in the unfortunate event of needing a tow and let them take away some of the stress!

My daughter’s Subaru broke down and we needed it towed back home. Jay arrived within 15 minutes and had the car loaded up super fast. He then mentioned he had just rebuilt his daughter’s subaru and he gave me some of his spare parts to do the repair. Over the top service from an amazing tow truck driver, simply a great human being. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!
The customer service is unbelievable! Great family run business with truly good people that care about their customers. After my son totaled his car they were so helpful and sympathetic, when talking to Ryan you felt like you were talking to someone you’ve known forever. I will forever recommend and be using their services.
These guys ROCK! They came to me via my insurance to help change a flat tire. They called me and let me know where they were at and how long they would be. They were faster then what they said which was great!! Came jacked the car up, removed flat tire and installed spare tire. Took less then 10 minutes to get me back on the road. Thank you for your friendly service!!
I've had to call my fair share of wreckers for a variety of reasons... In all of those times I've never met a more friendly group of people given they're usually always dealing with a stressed out customer in some capacity

I had an unexpected car issue recently and ended up stranded on the side of the road—but thankfully, Ryan's Towing Company came to the rescue! Roy, Ryan’s father, was the one who helped me, and he was absolutely amazing. He treated me like more than just another tow—he was kind, thoughtful, and incredibly friendly from the moment he arrived. Not only did he get my car to a nearby location, but he also went out of his way to give me a ride back to my house.
His sense of humor made a stressful situation feel a lot lighter, and he remained totally professional the whole time. You can tell this is a company that genuinely cares about people. Highly recommend Ryan’s Towing for honest, personable, and top-notch service. Total lifesavers!
We had a car break down yesterday on 196 in a very busy spot. These guys were my first call, and they did not disappoint. Customer service was spectacular, all questions answered, and subsequent calls were returned without delay. I was contacted from the scene with additional information that I used for the insurance company. Top notch, professional, and a small local business as well. My car broke down yesterday late afternoon. Picked it for location, but also the name. They were quick, courteous, professional. Their rates are reasonable. Got me and my car to our repair shop. Will definitely recommend them, as we as use them again.
I just wanted to share this real quick. I had an amazing experience with Ryan‘s tow service. The dispatch lady, I’m sorry I forgot your name was so nice and kind. And the driver of the tow truck couldn’t have been even nicer and I totally forgot his name but we totally vibe about Moto and yes, I will see you at Moreland’s sir. You guys did an absolutely great job 10/10 would recommend anybody.
Ryan’s towing is the Best! We had a Plow Truck that needed towing, I failed to mention how long it was.. they sent a flatbed which was a bit too short. In no time at all they called in a different truck to accommodate me. Thanks for the great service!!
Update, February 19, 2025. Had to have the same truck towed again! Starter went out. Ryan’s was quick to the rescue. I can always count them or fast dependable service. Thanks again to Ryan and his awesome team!

Exemplary service across the board! Best towing experience I've had. Customer service was excellent and the tow truck arrived in a fraction of the time it took me to request it through my insurance app! Very timely and much appreciated on a cold winter night! It was the driver that really impressed me the most though. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and made the ride home very pleasant. I will most definitely use them again in the future without hesitation!
Tonight, my husband's T &C van died on the road in Sparta. He was fortunate to get Ryan's Towing when he called the roadside service. Chris was the driver, operator who came out earlier than we were told. He was personable, quick, and so efficient. Chris went the extra mile, parking it at our home, jumping the van with his jump pack so my husband could get his key out...he is an absolute ? excellent driver, recovering our van quickly and safely! A++++!
Well established towing company in the Rockford area that i have used a few times. Very happy with fast response and turn around. i have USAA car insurance with towing and Ryan’s is an acceptable service so getting my car towed costs me nothing .. not even any upfront costs because USAA does work with Ryan’s. these guys have bailed me out several times.. even when i didn’t have the money.. they towed the car to their lot and i picked it up the next day. They are especially good to vets !
Ryan's Towing rescued me yesterday. I'm not from their area, but my tire blew out on 131. The dispatcher was friendly and professional. She was courteous, concerned and efficient. She was able to figure out my location without much help from me. Then Andrew, the tow truck operator arrived and safely and quickly loaded my vehicle onto his truck, and drove me and my car to a local tire shop. He was just as nice and professional as the dispatcher. The fee charged was reasonable and fair. I'm thankful for this company and their staff. Keep up the excellent work!
