I highly recommend this towing company. I've had the worst of luck with my vehicle lately and they have been there to tow my car numerous times within a half hour. Fast Reliable and Friendly.

I recently locked my keys in my truck and they sent a driver by the name of Mike who showed up in a timely manner of just under 30 minutes and had my truck unlocked within three minutes of him arriving. Mike was very professional and courteous and says this happens all the time to people. I would recommend Berrys & Gillikins Towing for all your towing and unlocking needs.
I ordered a tow because my car would not start and I needed to get it to the mechanic. I arrived home from work very shortly before they were scheduled to arrive, and tried to mess with my car one last time to see if I could get it to start. As the tow truck was pulling into my driveway, the car finally started. I informed the driver whose name is Jeremy of this, and said "I already paid you, we'll still just take the tow at this point." Jeremy was having none of it and called the operator and got the tow cancelled and did not charge us a penny. He then offered to follow us to the shop to make sure we'd still get there okay, which he 100% followed through on, even when GPS gave me a really weird route that had me unnecessarily going down small side roads that his tow truck would definitely struggle to get down and doubling back at the end for some reason. Jeremy gave me the best customer service I have ever received in my life, going very far above and beyond what you could ever reasonably expect from a tow service. He ensured that if I ever need a tow again, this company will be the first one I call. Thank you Jeremy.
These guys are great and know what they are doing. I highly recommend them. You're not always in a good situation calling a wrecker company but they go above and beyond and make it go a lot better.

I called 2 days in advance of my towing needs. The driver Mike was never told and now I am going to be late for my appointment at Community auto. The driver was very apologetic as it was not his fault. Need better communication.
Had a wonderful experience with this company today. I’m from out of town and was staying with a friend with my husband and kids when my car broke down. They were extremely kind, helpful, quick and friendly. A employee named Mike was the driver and he was awesome! Very pleased with the price and the professionalism and friendliness.
The company has an aggressive tow truck driver. He tailgated me all the way from Cascade and Thornapple River Dr, to Thornapple River Dr and 36th St. This was on 5/15/25 around 6pm. There were a number of times I thought he was going to cause an accident by rear-ending me. I was also concerned as my 5-year-old was in the back seat.
I was behind a slower vehicle the entire way, so I couldn’t go faster and this clearly upset him. When he was finally able to turn, he flipped me off. Please do not use this company.
There is a driver that works for Berry's & Gillikin's that drives extremely dangerously and recklessly. Today, in packed traffic in a construction zone, for no apparent reason, he was tailgating me, blowing his horn and flashing his emergency light. There was no where for him to go since there was only 2 lanes full of traffic. I let him pass and then he aggressively cut me off. I called the dispatcher who was going to look into it but she said there was no emergency that she knew of. He was just acting tough in his big truck vs my small chevy bolt. It was absolutely nuts to me that someone would drive this way in a company vehicle. This happened the morning of 5/5/25 at about 8:20 am on northbound 131 around 92nd to 100th ave. Check your GPS records. Not sure you want this guy driving for you...
THIEVES. THIEVES!!..towed my stepsons vehicle 3 miles for 85$.(to community auto which is HORRIBLE AND AFFILIATED WITH THEM..THEY ARE THIEVES TOO)..was going to charge 175..for 8 miles..paid 70$ for that tow..ALSO several years ago..had them tow my car to 10 mile..west..({THEY HAD ADDRESS FOR MY MECHANIC..DELIVERED ON THE ROAD IN front of a house to the east..!!!!) Received a ticket for vehicle being abandoned..car was towed..and impounded..after 5 days..WASN'T WORTH THE TROUBLE..AND THEY DIDN'T OFFER ANY COMPENSATION THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE!!!NEVER CALL THEM!!!
I got my mini van stuck in a snowbank off the road today after sliding on ice. After waiting hours for our insurance roadside assistance to show up , just to have them cancel, we started calling other tow companies. Berry’s & Gillikin’s could be there the fastest (within 30 minutes) and Justin did a fantastic job. He was able to pull me out safely and efficiently. Thank you!
Berry's and Gillikin's was recommended by a car dealership and also a car repair business. They are the best around. Excellent service, competitive prices and quick response to an emergency.
I also learned that I was not required to use the road side assistance number that my insurance company offers and I can still submit a claim for reimbursement. I have a national insurance company who bids out the service to the lowest bidder and I've had bad experiences all three times. I will never call the roadside assistance again. Chris was the driver today and he was topnotch!
I called for towing because my e-brake lever locked with the button stuck. Chris was somehow able to make the button work, freed the e-brake, and saved the day (and a towing charge). Great job.
Very speedy to get to Kent isd from downtown grand rapids. My car broke down 18 miles from where I needed to get it to and they got it there quick and cheap. I would reccomend this place to all my family.
I was recently in an auto accident and the police called these guys.. the driver was QUICK to get there and to get the cars loaded and out of traffic. Afterwards when I spoke to the driver about what to do with my car he was incredibly kind and helpful..Even asking how I was (like a concerned friend or family member would) ..I would HIGHLY recommend them..
Beware of scammers, had to have my vehicle towed. Asked the drive to take it to my body shop and was told it was easier for them to take it to their lot for the insurance inspection. Was never told there was a daily storage fee by the driver. So when I call to get my bill total, it was over a hundred more than what I was told. That's when they informed me of the storage fees. When I explained that I had asked to have it taken to my body shop instead, but the driver insisted it was easier to go to the lot and he never told me of storage fee. The owner laughed at me.
I've had my car(s) towed multiple times from this company. This is the most professional tow company in Grand Rapids, MI. The dispatchers are very friendly and knowledgeable and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you receive the best customer service possible. On top of that the drivers, like Ryan and Brad, are willing to help and assist you to get you to where you need to go. I broke down on my way to work and Ryan dropped me off at work and ensured my car would get to the shop of my choice. I definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone needing a tow.
We had a great experience with Barry's and Gillikin's Towing! Our car was leaking anti-freeze and needed to be towed. They were quick, efficient, and were even able to take our card number over the phone so we could leave. They also offered the most competitive price (50 dollars cheaper than our insurance offered). Highly recommended!
