Customer service over the phone is terrible. I called to get an idea of the schedule for service and the lady just keeps asking me irrelevant questions but refusing to answer if they’re available or not. But she just keeps saying I can bring it in as soon as I can. Not that it’s going to be seen once I bring it in.
Thought long and hard about adding these photos and making this post, but if you’re a black woman don’t bring your truck in here. They assaulted another woman for their mistake charging her twice and now they do this type of stupid stuff. Previously they told me my truck was shutting off because of a camera last year till a different dealership found a fried wire they neglected to catch which the other international dealerships called them stupid. They tried to charge me $1200 for diagnostic testing which I was told by another international dealerships they were trying to rob me. I’m thinking about seeking representation for the many issues I had with them. This is the master mechanics work out of Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. Never buy an International Truck if you reside in Michigan. I know they’re about to respond but you can’t defend stupidity of your staff.
Brandon in parts department is a rockstar. Found a part for our International LT when nobody else can find it. Very friendly and helpful, i totally recommend this shop.
could’ve cared last to go get a technician to give me information. I was simply asking for on my vehicle. Unless they’re getting paid they they’re not gonna share any knowledge.
Service personnel are so very respectful, kept us updated on progress of repairs, noticed other issues we were not aware of and notified us immediately for confirmation of the repair, cost, and ordering parts. 5 star quality service in all areas.
Great customer service, fixed the truck under the warranty same day. I was surprised, not a lot of dealers will have a quick repairs. Eric in service is very nice, thank you.
Extremely unprofessional staff, and terrible management. If you could avoid going here I definitely would. You're money will go further at a different and more professional establishment. Wont be surprised if they go out of business very soon.
Bad business practices. Charging people's cards without authorization and the employees are allowed to assult customers. This business is all around terrible. Find another spot!
They fixed all the little things that I was too lazy to fix thanks guys! my truck is back on the road making money Zero complaints. They do sell keys even tho you have to get them cut somewhere else.
Good company to work with, pricing is a little high with some stuff vs. other vendors. Great customer service, John the outside sales guy is fantastic! He checks on us every week to make sure we have what we need and is very timely with getting us back quotes for jobs. Nelson our delivery driver typically comes around the same time every day and has a great attitude. You can tell they both like their jobs.
I had an air dryer problem with my motorhome, and it could not be driven. The service department sent a man out within a couple of hours, and the issue was repaired by Luke in short order. He was a knowledable and polite young man who does West Michigan International proud. Thank you for the great work and timely repair.
The man at the service desk was very professional. I brought my truck in with an issue with the engine brake not working the way and engine brake would normally work of course I knew that this was a different model Truck and how to make the engine brake work but I believe the engine brakes should only work when operated by itself and not having to press down on the service break. With this truck you have to press down on the service brake and then engage the engine brake of course I already knew this but I did not like how it operated and I brought the truck in to see if they could fix it. The mechanic wrote it up as the engine brake is working fine the driver did not know how to operate it now mind you I already knew how to make it work I just didn't like how it did work. Now the mechanic must be some type of telepath with special powers to read minds because he knows what I'm thinking and he knows what I know. And if he really knew what I was thinking after he wrote that up that way he would probably eat the paper. All I can say is be careful what you say when you take your truck there because you never know how it will get wrote up by a mechanic who can read minds. Other than that the service guy and the other two ladies were very professional very clean and well mannered staff at the front desk.
Loved it! I highly recommend them. After hitting a deer on Friday, I was all fixed up and moving again Monday afternoon. I do feel the estimate was a little high but insurance covered it and I only got done the work needed to get back moving. The guys and body shop did a great job and were real good people . I was even offered a burger and chips lol
I had a lot of trouble finding a certain part, I called places all over the country with no luck. I gave West Michigan International a call only to find out they didn't have the part as well. Dennis in the parts department went above and beyond the Call of Duty, gave me a number to a place that might help. I called the place and sure enough they had the part, and it was delivered the next day. If not for Dennis's kindness and concern I would still be on the sidelines. I also enjoyed talking to the receptionist Angie, she was very kind. You just don't find kind people like these two nowadays. Thanks West Michigan International for hiring such kind and professional workers.
Drove about 2.5 hours for a very healthy truck which we were told was ready. Which is was not. There was an engine leak. They offered different trucks but couldn’t offer a fair price even when this issue was on their end
Had my truck tied up for five days, two of witch was a weekend for a 1.5 hour job. Hard to believe that it takes so much time to diagnose metal shavings in the oil. $300 later and didn’t find a thing. Covid problem they say and short staffed, could have not made the appointment for the time they said they could work on it. Very disappointed in my first service with a brand new truck.
Update, I want to thank Ken for making the issues I had better and correcting the billing issue I had. Mistakes happened and all I can ask for is to work with me to address the issues and they were more than happy to take care of all my concerns. I will be coming back and give them another try.
Yesterday afternoon around 4pm I walked into your dealership. The entire light assembly on the back of my truck a 2014 prostar, decided it no longer wanted to be part of the team. Dont you just hate quitters??? Heidi the parts counter lady informed me they didn't have the bracket in stock. They could order 1 but it would be tomorrow before I could get it. As a truck driver, owner operator, I expected to hear the normal, not my problem nothing I can do. I was expecting to either stay in their parking lot or be forced to call a road service provider and pay out the nose for a 20 minute repair. Heidi went above and beyond to help me. She sent her parts runner to get the light assembly I needed from their supplier so I could make it home last night. Kudos to your service team. Heidi is a great representative for your company. Again, thank you for your help.
