Absolutely amazing customer service and experience from Robert and griffin today, will 100% go back from how they really went all the way to help me out and do everything they possibly could to get me on the road again

Brought my car in for a check engine light. They said it should be under warranty through the car's dealership for the issue. They could have still charged me or went to fix it themselves. Makes them a honest shop!

this shop went above and beyond to help my daughter with her Jeep. Keeping me up to date on every aspect of the process; even added an extra part and labor after the issue was found post payment - at no cost. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the Kalamazoo area. I live three hours away with my daughter down at Kalamazoo for school; and they treated her like their own to make sure she was safe.Absolutely, highly, recommend this whole staff! The service manager was exceptional!

Ordered tires online, had them delivered here, and were put on within a day. Quick, efficient, personable, and friendly. This is my new tire spot.

Took my truck in for a heating problem was told it was air in the hose. heat worked for an hour, took the car back the next day asked them to put it on the diagnostic . Was charged $192 now the truck will not even start. Do not let them work on your car if you want to not waste your money or time

I had to pay another shop (Firestone in Portage) to fix the work I had done at Monro on Stadium Drive....whatever that even was. My situation was similar to Olivia's. In fact, the current manager Rob even texted me a picture of Olivia's spark plugs by accident. In August 2024 I took my car in for a cylinder misfire, something that has happened in the past. 3 managers, 4 months, and 5+ visits later and I still had to pay another shop $800 to get the job done right. I only went here out of convenience, a decision that haunts my wallet every day. Even though the current manager admitted he's getting a lot of complaints from customers who had their cars works on by past management, I've learned the hard way it doesn't matter the manager, Monro WILL let you down. As a single female I'm always unsure of where to take my car and it's easy to feel like you're being taken advantage of. GIRL TO GIRL-- DON'T GO HERE. This was my first experience with any Monro location and it will certainly be my last.

I’m so disappointed with this company. They need to be shut down. I have been a customer for two years and I have spent thousands of dollars at this shop. Earlier this year my catalytic converter was replaced as well as spark plugs. In August my engine light turned on and I needed new O2 sensors. At this point ALL O2 sensors had been replaced. On Tuesday, my engine light turned on again. I attempted to call the shop on Wednesday and nobody returned my call. On Thursday I called them again and requested to speak to an associate and he explained that multiple customers have been dissatisfied and bringing cars back in the past 6 months due to “bad management in the past”. The associate explained that they recently hired new employees and have new management. You would think this would be a good thing. The only reason I took my car back to them is because I was told that I am under warranty for a year for the services I received. On Friday after 3 seperate calls I was finally able to speak to a manager. The manager went on various tangents about “Well what if you drank and drove to California we don’t know what you’ve done since August”. He also attempted to blame my faulty O2 sensor part on “possibly needing an oil change”. None of his statements made sense. I argued with him to deduct labor prices and the O2 sensor price as this was a faulty part that THEY installed this year (4 months ago). The manager explained that he will only “comp parts that are 3 months old”. How convenient! I agreed to pay for the part alone which he explained is $88. He also yelled back to a different employee clarifying this price. I went to pick my car up today and the assistant manager said “okay it will be $395”. To which I then explained to him this entire situation which I assumed his manager would’ve told him already. The assistant manager then stated “oh he needs to stop making promises he can’t keep. He must have talked to DJ and he doesn’t know part prices. He probably just googled the part instead of looking at our system”. He then stated “okay I can do $295 how does that sound”. To which I explained AGAIN the $88 price which was agreed upon last night. I have attached pictures for proof of the price they attempted to give me and the price I paid. He made me pay $95 which makes 0 sense but at this point I gave up. He also stated a swear word and then “if I lose my job than I lose my job”. Every single phone call I had with their team consisted of the employees blaming past employees. If you are still called Monroe Auto Body then you need to fix the problems that occurred at your business! Both the assistant manager and manager are beyond unprofessional, swore during conversation, and had no customer service skills. It took 7 phone calls to speak to a manager and a call center answers first so if an employee isn’t available you’re unable to speak to them. Please be aware of their scams. I NEVER leave bad reviews but this was the worst experience I have ever had with a buisness.

I recently visited the Monro auto service center on Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo, Michigan and I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly professional service that I received. The manager Rob ordered the parts I needed and made my repair in a timely manner. If you want good honest customer service do yourself a favor and pay him a visit.

My go to for all my oil changes and repairs. They are under new management and Rob and his crew are kind and knowledgable. If you want honest and affordable this is the place.

I returned to have more service because my initial visit was just exceptional. Today, new face but same outstanding service. Chris greeted me with a smile and he was absolutely wonderful. My car was ready quickly and I am confident about the quality of service I received. I HIGHLY recommend this location.

I’m extremely disappointed with Monro Auto Service. They clearly don’t care about their customers, as they make it impossible to speak directly with the store. Instead, you’re forced to talk to a call center that knows nothing about cars. The sole purpose of this is to ensure you show up at the store, rather than addressing your concerns upfront. They also show no respect for their vendors. Even when there’s documentation in their own system showing parts have been received and installed on cars, they try to avoid paying for them. Lastly, Monro doesn’t care about their employees. They force them to work extreme hours and expect them to show up even when they have doctors’ notes or when they need time off for family emergencies, like attending a funeral. This company’s lack of compassion and consideration is disgraceful. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone—customers, vendors, or potential employees alike.

My girlfriend came by for some brake work. Larry took good care of her, along with an expert tech whose name we failed to remember (we apologize). They gave her a fair estimate and speedy service. And, they're open on the weekends, fortuitous for us on the M-F 9-5. I'll be bringing my car to them for work from now on. Edit: new finance options are a life saver!

When I was trying to get my wheels off the other day they were stuck on the hub bore so I set up a tire rotation. When they pulled my car off the lift the front end was literally wheel hopping and they told me my brakes caliper seized up somehow while they did it. He tried to get a break specialist to come to the shop and he couldn’t get one there so he told me to drive to the other shop. After trying to leave the parking lot I refused because it was super unsafe. me and the guy then talked about how my brakes were completely alright before and that it makes no sense how that could even happen. He also said that “I did have to push the gas a little hard to get moving” which was obviously completely untrue. Turns out When they put the wheels back on they put the rear wheels on the front which cause my tire to rub on the coil over because of the offset of my rims.

I had a Groupon for my oil change and brought my car in today. The store manager, Chris, came to greet me before I even got inside and held open the office door for me. Him and Mario were both very personable and made my wait go quickly. They were very honest and didn’t try to take advantage. They were cautious as to keep my car clean when pulling in and out and Chris even pulled it up to the door for me after. The service was above and beyond and I will definitely be back there for future auto needs.

Very disappointed in the customer service of this establishment. This week has been horribly hot and humid out and of course the A/C in my vehicle quit on me. I called to get my vehicle in to get the air fixed and was set up with an appointment to bring said vehicle in. My appointment was for 7:30am. At 7:15am I get a phone call from them saying they cannot accommodate my appointment and offered me no other appointment. Most business's have a cancelation policy and charge you a fee for canceling within 24 hours. I was given no sort of explanation, I was not offered another time. I was just told they could not accommodate and then a goodbye. I will never call them again and I would recommend to anyone, please call or go anyplace other than this shop. Extremely unprofessional!

My son recently brought his car in to address an oil leak issue. Following a substantial bill of $1,700, it became apparent that the root cause of the problem had not been fully resolved, and an additional $1,800 was proposed to rectify the original oil leak. During the explanation, my son was shown the defective part on his car, and he was informed that it was a common issue, with assurances that the necessary part was readily available in stock. However, subsequent investigation revealed that this claim was inaccurate, as confirmed by the headquarters. Regrettably, this experience has left me with serious doubts about the integrity and trustworthiness of this particular Monro establishment, as well as any others affiliated with it.

Oil change done while I waited. Reasonable price. Several small things on safety inspection were shown to me. (No pressure). Staff were enthusiastic and careful. I have had work done at Monro over many years. Overall very satisfied.

Had them replace tires and take a look at a squeaky belt. I have gotten my car fixed here in the past and had 0 issues with them. On this occasion, before even calling me to ask if they could put anything on the belt, the tech put on way to much belt dressing on my serpentine belt causing it to completely melt and ruin my tensioner pulleys and now I have to get them replaced. Employees were very kind and apologetic for their wrong doing and admitted they shouldn't have put the conditioner, let alone that much conditioner, on the belt. I had talked to the manager and stated how the tech was wrong to do that, manager insisted it was not an issue on his employee when it indeed was. Don't expect an apology at the bare minimum from the manager either for them messing up your car. The pulleys on my tensioner are completely fried from the amount of belt conditioner that was added and the part needs to be replace now on top of other issues. Employees were kinder to the customers than the manager was despite his employee being in the wrong. The customer service agent at the front desk deserves a raise for being the most helpful person there. I'm not as much upset about the belt, but more so how the manager couldn't even acknowledge that his shop messed up and shouldn't have done that. Wouldn't recommend this place for anything beyond a basic tire fix, even then, you can go somewhere else cheaper.

I really appreciate all the brothers who work here. They are very professional and fast. Great work for every piece, and especially Chris is very professional and amazing guy. Thank you for changing my exhust. Thank you to all the mechanics who upgraded my car!

The best place to get your car fixed. Prices are the most reasonable around the area, they did a wonderful job on my boyfriend's car. Chris, the front desk guy, was very warm and welcoming, helped us a lot, and was always available to answer our questions. The staff was being professional and handled our car with great care and we are very sure to recommend them to our friends. Thank you for your service!

5 stars isn't enough for this place. The service was fast, efficient, and incredible. I would like to give special thanks to Brian, who took care of me even close to closing time. I came in with a flat tire, and he went out of his way to help me out. Thanks to him, I was able to get to work in time. You have bought yourself a customer, for certain!

Words cannot express how elated I am with these guys. Five stars is not enough. Not even close. I am a delivery driver for a living so I need my car to work properly. I try to take amazing care of my vehicles- I was always taught that with cars you get out exactly what you put In. About a month and a half ago I needed breaks. Someone else did the work- and when they messed it up I took it here and they fixed it. No judgment. No price gouging. Just honest work at an honest price. So today I am at work and the car started making a clunking noise. When I would put the car in reverse it would pop so hard I thought the tire was going to come off. I took it immediately to Robert. He walked out with me and listened to my concerns and the noise the car was making. Got it in right away. Figured out the problem right away. Had it fixed and back on the road in less than an hour. Words cannot express how grateful I am to him and the other mechanic in the shop. This is not only my livelihood in the line but the food in my family’s mouth- and he went above and beyond to get me back on the road. The car drives amazing. I could not be happier with the work he did. There is a reason why this is the only place I will take my vehicle (as well as a few of my co worker as well). Thank you so much.

I have been bringing my 2006 Toyota Corolla there since 2017 and will NEVER return. I had such great service and experiences there before and wanted to continue to give Monroe my business. After spending over $1700 (MOSTLY IN LABOR), to have my shocks replaced and a couple other things done (such as an alignment, oil change and a loose plastic part on the underside of my car zip-tied or re-attached), my car was returned to me with a crooked steering wheel, no oil change sticker and the maintenance light was still on. I never even got a spec sheet that shows my tire pressure etc. like I had ALWAYS received before. When I called to arrange to bring my car back, the manager even said on the phone that his crew should have taken care of this stuff. I returned to have the steering wheel corrected and the light turned off. They corrected the steering wheel ONLY. ALSO - I was told by the manager that they would take care of the underside of my car verbally, and I even wrote it down AND said it needed to be done when I scheduled my appointment (but for some reason, when I arrived, they said I DIDN'T have an appointment) but that never got done! It is CLEAR my car was not checked out by a manager or head mechanic. Even the second time, you'd think they'd get it right. *I* reset the light myself. I feel like I should charge the store for the labor and the time I spent to correct these things. I feel totally ripped off. Amateur hour. Don't take your car here.

Update - Monro's insurance company paid for the new running boards and they look great. Felt like I was on a hidden cam show. Walked in for oil change, tire rotation, and exhaust heat plate fix. Told it would be an hour. An hour later car was still not in. Not the end of the world. I am patient. At an hour fifteen, the car goes in. Mechanic puts car on lift and does not account for running boards (Toyota 4Runner). Destroys running boards. Then it was time for oil change. Oil was drained then they realize they have no oil filters that fit vehicle. Wait another 30 minutes for some auto part store to drop off an oil filter. Work was finished just over the three hour mark. Quote to replace running boards using their recommended company and insurance is $650. Was just quoted today but have yet to receive a call back from Monro's insurance.

Very poor experience and customer service at the Stadium location. I made an 8:00 am appointment for my vehicle, and when I arrived the guy behind the counter seemed confused, and apparently the appointment I made, was not in the system. He got help from "Eric", who I think might have been the manager. He honestly looked me up and down and asked what I needed. He was very rude, had a bad attitude, and it seemed like I was bothering him just by being there. I did have my vehicle inspected. Later that day, I received a phone call from Eric, and his attitude was much better as he was telling me all of the items that needed to be attended to and the total cost which was going to be $1000+. When he mentioned that my oil needed to be changed, I honestly quit listening, as I just changed the oil myself a few weeks prior. Also, most of the items he listed, were completely unnecessary add-ons. I chose to take my vehicle to my dealership, where you have to pay a lot more money, but you do receive good customer service and trusted service on your vehicle. This experience occurred a few years ago, I do not know if Eric still works there. Based on my experience, I would not recommend.

Had an appointment to get my car checked out. Get all the way there just to be told, they have no one to do it. Ok I understand if you guys are short staffed but no one thought to call and cancel the appointment. That is just common courtesy. I've frequent this place so many times in the past and never had any problems. After so many years, the one time I need car service and this happens. I wouldn't be upset if the guy didn't have a "whatever" attitude about it. He was rude, not good customer service but I'm gonna take it as a good sign. This was not the place to pay my hard earned money to.

The man who owns the branch is super nice. He ran out of one type of oil, gave me better oil and then charged me for the oil I ordered, which was $40.00 cheaper. He didn’t have too, but that was a super good business practice and I appreciated his honesty. Plus, he and his coworker were able to give me advice on three different scrap/salvage yards. Very knowledgeable.
