Brought the car in to have the exhaust looked at. Needed the entire exhaust replaced from the downpipes back. Bill and Cody worked with me throughout to help get the sound/performance I wanted. Even gave me the option to bring it back if it ends up being louder than I'd like to make adjustments. Solid service.
Took time to talk over the issue and pricing as well as my many questions. Bill took questions seriously and gave me honest feedback and information. I called on a Monday and had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday. I appreciate the speedy timing. This was my first repair with Performance Plus and I will be bringing my car here for future care and repairs.

I love the fact that they’re very honest and they fix what is broken. The timeliness of the shop is great. I was able to get my car in in the morning and get it out by the end of the day. Thank you so much for keeping my family safe!
Great customer service. Always keeps me in the loop about what’s broken on my car, what needs replacement, what needs attention, etc. I like the way they call me at every step of the repair or service. Also, quick turnaround and easy appointment setting. The fact that Performance Plus is Master State and A.S.E certified, General Motors master certified is important to me because my everyday ride is a Buick. They provide 12-month warranties with all of their services for my peace of mind.
Recently I had a mystery leak which they tracked down—a broken water pump. They also found some other problems that definitely needed repair, not a big surprise since I had somewhat neglected maintenance and repairs for three years. Their prices are fair.

I have dealt with Bill and Sam for several months, and I have seen their interaction with other customers and with myself. They are good decent people who understand customer service and are very knowledgeable about repairing vehicles. I was explaining the work that I needed performed on the SUV, fairly detailed issue and Sam (she answers the phone which doesn't begin to describe her knowledge) goes into details about the issue without being told. Other shops that I contacted did not seem to thoroughly understand the issue, but at Performance Plus the receptionist has exceptional knowledge of the repair work they do. I am more than pleased to recommend them, and their prices were right in-line with what it should cost. Good shop, good people, and a whole lot of knowledge. Definitely a 5-star shop.
I’m from Massachusetts and recently drove to Kalamazoo to visit family.
When I arrived my car began to leak fluid and left a big 2 foot circle under the car. I moved it and it left another big circle.
I called my mechanic back east and showed him pictures of the leak and where it was coming from. He was almost certain it was the heater core.
My son in law recommended I take it to Performance Plus. After extensive pressure testing and troubleshooting they told be the vehicle was completely free of any type of leak.
They told me it was condensation, and explained how it came about. The mechanic was kind, and very thorough in explaining it all to me. The front office was exceptionally friendly also.
It’s refreshing to know that there are auto repair shops around that prioritize honesty and integrity in their customer relationships.
I was in a situation where I could have easily been taken advantage of.

The whole staff was wonderful and polite. My transmission went out and they were always willing to work with me on finding a solution. Whether it was to repair or scrap. They allowed me to let my car sit on-site for a few weeks as I made a decision for my best option: Never giving any pressure or extra charges during that period. Totally recommend them for their services.

We have had 2 vehicles serviced here. We recently had a 'no start' at a grocery store, and after having the vehicle towed to Performance Plus, they diagnosed and fixed the problem the next day. We are very happy with the work done here, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly.
This happened months ago, but I had an old car break down when driving back from Detroit to Chicago. Performance Plus was able to take my car in on extremely short notice. Unfortunately, the car could not be saved, but they quoted me with a repair cost and recommended me to a junk yard when we decided not to keep the car.
The employees were very helpful and kind both on the phone and in person with my dad when he came to drive me home. I was staying in hotels in Kalamazoo and had my car towed there, talked to them about repairs, and was connected with the junk yard all over the phone. They were responsive. I never had a chance to meet them in person. They were very trustworthy the whole time and I was able to make payments over the phone too. The junkyard they referred me to sent me a check for the car a few weeks later. I trusted Performance Plus in a bad situation in an unfamiliar city and they didn't let me down. I would recommend them for all kinds of automobile services.
