I can't say enough good things about this place. I had my trucked towed in thinking it was going to need a new transmission. After being inspected Scott informed me it was and we set a plan to fix it. Well after some trial and error it was actually a way cheaper fix. I'm so thankful for the knowledge and honesty.
Also the entire time it was at the shop the communication was great as well. Even checked up on me days later and about a week later. I will definitely continue to have my truck serviced here and recommend to anyone looking
GET YOUR QUOTE IN WRITING! They do good work is what i'm told. This place changed my quote by a few hundred dollars and acted like it wasn't a big deal.Dont just guess a quote if you need to see the vehicle first would make more sense. They could of at least called you and let you know the change has happened.But they don't. The guy is in too much of a hurry on the phone to remember what he says. They help me with another issue and overcharged many hundreds of dollars AGAIN! . At least call a customer and give them a correct quote. My experience with them was very costly and I will not return. Better communication would not make customers feel this way.
Awesome experience here! Was quoted over $10,000 in repairs from the Toyota dealer. Ended up being less than $2000 here to fix the actual issues with my vehicle and I couldn’t be happier! The service was great and they did a great job communicating with me along the way. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else but here!
Our camper wheel/tire flew off while driving on the highway. The service at Martin Spring and Drive was wonderful. They let us stay overnight in the camper and came in early in the morning to check out our tire situation. Fixed both sides and had us up and running early that morning. All the staff are professional, friendly, and kind. Really helpful during a scary situation. The price for all they fixed was reasonable. Thank you for all your help and kindness!!
I have had the best experience with Martin Spring & Driveline. Steve, Sue and Scott are the best. They are honest, hard working great people. The shop does wonderful work and cares about quality and their customers. You would be hard pressed to find a shop that is as good as Martin Spring!
MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR QUOTE ON PAPER AND SIGNED. Yes they do great work, however, they will assume you to be a liar when they tell you a price on the phone ($800 for upsized springs, & between $200 & $300 for bearing re-pack), then overcharge the quoted max $1100 price at $1387 when you come to pick up your trailer. Scott bold faced lied to everyone in that room when he said he not only didnt give me that price on the phone, but you couldnt have possibly known what my springs were. Tell me you couldn't have possibly quoted me for springs due to not having any knowledge about my springs. However, over the phone, i had given the width of each leaf (1.75"), number of leafs (4), axle weight rating (5000lb), and center to center mounting at 25.5 for each spring, I have given you the info you need to make an educated estimate. After all, this IS what you do for a living isnt it? Might be time for a quoting system if your guys cant even remember a phone call from the day before.

I’m sorry but would use these guys as a last resort maybe not even then I needed to get a simple driveshaft made was given 2 different prices over the phone then when I showed up was told another price so I agreed and then when I showed up to pick up it was over 100$ more then what I was told and they were extremely unprofessional so after bickering on price I had to wait even longer because they told me they made the driveshaft at the wrong length so after all that I get it put back in my car and have a horrible vibration and I tried indexing it multiple ways and same issue so I took it to shaft master in Taylor and they told me way out balance and welds had porosity and very poorly done so I had them chuck that crap and they built me a 3 inch aluminum shaft that only costed me 300$ over 100 less then the steel one these guys charged me and the shaft master shaft was very nicely done and made my car drive smooth again so if you need a driveshaft take the extra drive to shaft masters
Absolutely stellar place to have work done. Professional staff, great work and they work fast. Also, if they think you can get the work done cheaper somewhere else, they say so.
Worst place ever messed up my transmission they we’re supposed to fix the gasket that was leaking still leaking put some ghetto as bolts filter was not even put on right n it never stop leaking due to bolts not been tied all the way according to him if transmission is low and fluid that would not have damage the transmission what the hell is he talking about man n take responsibility.

Polite and professional. I found quotes for a few hundred dollars less to install my lift and leveling kit, however these guys instilled confidence in me that they would take care of my truck. I will return for future work
The good people at Martin Spring fixed my truck when muffler man could not find the problem, but Martin Spring found it And only charged for the work that needed to be done.
If you want it fixed, Take it to Martin Spring, even though that is not the kind of work that I think they normally do. great guys and receptionists too. Thank you very much! after a year of suffering my truck is great! thank you!!
I took in a van that needed quite a bit of work, was overdue on service and required brakes shocks and other things, they not only got it done for a good price at a good quality if workmanship but they were able to essentially get it done within about a day. These guys are amazing and I'll be taking any and all of my work vehicles here from now on. 10/10 stars.
So happy I was referred to Martin Spring & Driveline. I own a very old bus (1956) that most shops won't touch. Martin fabricated new leaf springs for the rear, and gave the bus a nice butt lift. The folks even educated me every time I called, and were patient and helpful throughout the process. Highly recommended.
Leaf spring shackles broke on my truck, appears this job scares many away... something to do with hard work..so the prices I'd been quoted were unreasonable and the only spot they all had open were a month away. I was told about martin leaf and spring so I gave them a call, two days later I dropped it off in the morning and received a call the work was done same afternoon. What's more, the total cost was less than half of what all others were quoting me. Needless to say, they have ALL of my future service!!! Couldn't be happier...yes and they are very nice to deal with.
After todays experience with Steve, i would give a zero star review if i could. The first experience i had with Martin spring and drive was excellent, i had my rear axle rebuilt and everything was smooth, $1600 job.
Just recently i had my front differential carrier bushings replaced, i picked up my truck and on the way home it was leaking front differential fluid all over, i called in and told them about the fluid leak, and due to risk of damage, steve said he would send a tow truck to pick up my truck, i thought great, excellent service. They fixed the leak, and i picked up my truck with a $0 invoice.
This was in mid August. Today i received a call from grams towing saying i owe a tow bill... I called Martin and Spoke with Steve and his words about the situation, " ill pay for the tow, just dont ever come back here"
After ive spent about $2900 on work done.

The guys replaced my pinion yoke, u joint and balanced the drive shaft. They were great to work with and had the work done quickly and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them to any truck owner big or small. Will definitely be going back for any future repairs I may run into
We had them replace the rear springs on one of our wreckers. They did a great job. As a mechanics we inspected all of their work before returning the truck back into service and could not find any wrong with the repairs. Great company to work with they do quality repairs.
They replaced my u-joints and the transmission gasket. They got me in quickly. They are very fair with pricing. I had to take it back a day after as something was rubbing...they got it back in quickly and fixed it the same day. It was not something they did wrong either...and they didn't charge me for that one.
Wonderful folks who really helped us out of a bind. They went above and beyond to get us what we needed and get back on the road. They stuck to their estimate despite having to spend extra time on our vehicle. They were incredibly kind, honest and knowledgeable at their job. They also got us in right away! Can not recommend them enough.
I had found myself wrestling with some leaf spring bushings to be installed for my new lift going on the Jeep Cherokee. I made the call, they said bring em’ over so I did. All the other garages I called said it would be a couple of days. Martin Spring was just as busy - but they recognized the ease of the job since having the right equipment and an eager apprentice to aid in my time crunch. BAM! No sooner had I run a few errands and they called and told me to come pick up my freshly (and properly) pressed bushings. You’d expect that service from most places. The thing that set them apart was their willingness to answer a lot of additional questions regarding my lift, that they had no obligation to, and reviewed how my next steps were planned out, doling out tidbits of helpful experience along the way. This is the kind of place where you’re willing to spend money to get the bigger picture it right - but they wouldn’t hear of it because it wasn’t necessary. Just happy to help... Man, that’s customer service.
Rebuilt and customized my driveshaft the same day I dropped it off. The price was very reasonable and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I'll definitely be back
I went in here with some worn out leaf springs, I had them install heavy duty springs and asked that they added another spring to the new pack. I am now able to tow my enclosed trailer and dump trailers full of shingle scrap with the rear end of the truck hardly squatting at all. I am beyond impressed with the springs the installed. They also changed out my differential fluids and changed my ujoints. Super fast turnaround. Give them a call because they do a lot more than just springs. They also infoed me ahead of time that my truck may not ride as smooth with the extra heavy duty springs I added. I think it handles great and feels more like a truck could. Now it can handle the weight I was originally towing and some. Very happy with the work done here. This is the second set of springs I have had done here on 2 different trucks.
First class place. Knowledgeable, willing to work with you, quality of work was number one. Cost was very fair, one day turn around to replace the tube in my drive shaft. Everyone I talked with was very personable and friendly. Highly recommend.
Gave them a call about getting ujoints replaced. Unfortunately it is very difficult to get the ones on my vehicle done. But had given me a very modest option for a whole new drive shaft for a very great price. Cheaper than through the dealer and auto parts store. Would definitely recommend!
I took them a very rusty Chevy truck and they fixed me up with all new rear springs, brakes, shocks, brake lines and everything needed to allow me to use the truck again.
The quality and workmanship they did blows my mind every time I use the truck.
