I bought a Chevy Cruze for a reasonable price, but when I got it home, it appeared to leak oil overnight. I Called Bob and he said to bring it back and they will look at it. They said it seemed to be leaking around the oil filter seal, so replaced the housing for no charge. Again I parked it overnight and there was a leak. This time I looked closer to the spill and at the engine and it looked more like antifreeze and there was some sitting on a top part of the engine, I brought it back and showed them this. They checked out a hose on top of the engine and found a hole in the hose and a crack in the plastic fitting it went on. Again they replaced it free of charge. Not only that, but because I lived in Marshall, not Kalamazoo, he gave me a check for $100 for my 3 round trips to get it fixed. This was way above my expectations and the way to properly run a business. Thank You and you have a customer for life!!
Crosstown Auto staff was very friendly. Bob offered to buy my wife's car for a very reasonable price. I will definitely look to do business with them again.
My business 3am auto service has been dealing with this family owned company for over 10 yrs now and I love there customer service, I love the way they have been getting my parts to me in a reasonable time,I recommend this company for all your good used parts.
Service is really bad, I like to come to small businesses to be a patron but this place is terrible. Go to Weller or LKQ people because this place SUCKS!!!! Well in response to your reply I’m the review King, hautorepair Llc. No need to discuss further, bad business is just that. When guest come to my shop they are greeted properly not looked at and ignored. There’s a saying “ don’t judge a book by its cover”….,

I hit a deer with our Dodge Caravan. Bob had the same exact car and basically helped me cut and paste the whole front end onto my wrecked car leaving as much intact as possible for an easy repair. They even gave me all the hardware that went with the repair. I’m only an aspiring car DIYer. Bob’s knowledge and insight was very helpful at a consult level as well.
They also stand behind their products. Once I did the swap, the condenser leaked bad. I explained to them that it was possible I actually punctured it in the process of install or transport, though it can’t be said for sure who was responsible. But they gave me a replacement at no cost nonetheless.
Honest and knowledgeable people. Will be doing business with them again. I’d also like to point out they cost significantly less than other parts yards.
My dad bought a motor from here and it was junk. He exchanged it for a second motor that ended up having bent valves, wouldn't stay running. I am a traveling home care nurse so he tried to fix the motor because they said 30 day warranty. He ended up having to go to Morris rose and got a motor that runs great.
I couldnt have had a better experience with this company. I needed to salvage a car emergently and they were able to get it done within a couple of hours. Friendly, fast and a pleasure to work with.
Bought 2 2015 subaru forester axles from here they had low miles were cheaper then everywhere else and work like new. The women running the place was nice. I will buy more parts from here soon.
Drove 3 hours to pickup some parts for a chevy spark, I saw bad reviews and was skeptical but after arriving and going thru the process of buying I have to say that this place is awesome. The people are all nice. Shawn was awesome and willing to help me even when I decided I needed a extra part and didn't have a chance to call ahead for it. I highly recommend Crosstown for all your auto needs!!! P.s parts were exactly how they described no issues there !!
Go to Morris rose or Wellers if you want genuine parts and customer service. You will NOT be satisfied at crosstown. You can tell a place that’s specifically about getting over and gaining profit, opposed to a place that actually takes pride in their reputation by giving quality service to customers. How are they even still open ?
This place is absolutely worthless called at 9:00 in the morning told me they were pulling my part and they would call me back when it was finished I called then back at 11:00 to see where things were at told me to be there at 3:00 the part would be waiting. Drive two and a half hours to get the part I'm there at 2:45 told the part is still not pulled wait until 3:30 just to be told the part is broken they don't have it anymore. The manager and staff at this place are a complete joke. Advise anyone and everyone to shop somewhere else
Not overly friendly, one person made me feel like I wasn't welcome in there. But the young man who helped find what I needed was awesome and very helpful. Got what I needed at a decent price.
I drove my 1998 Audi A4 Avant in -around 1:40pm on Saturday, because I heard something knocking against the cylinder walls. They technicians their find anything that same day. So they kept it over the weekend, so they can run some more diagnostics on Monday. Well the shut the car off and tried to start it again and it wouldn’t start. It was running and driving perfectly with a knock on Saturday, now it no long runs or drives. They we’re quoting me $900 for a starter replacement, even though it’s 100% their fault that it doesn’t run and drive. I highly suggest you guys to stay away from this shop and go to Southcross Auto right down the road from them.
While in the market for a LM7 5.3L vortec, I reached out to Crosstown Auto. I was treated well by the staff, which I have found to be rare at like businesses. The guys were knowledgeable, and after a short conversation had lined me up with several options that suited my build. The engine I bought came with a warranty, which solidified my confidence in the purchase. Although I tore the engine down to make some thunder, the engine was in good enough condition to plug and play. In fact, I wouldn't have been shocked if the engine had another 50k - 100k left in it. My next build will likely be a LQ4 6.0L or LQ9 6.2L, and I will surely start with these guys. Feels a lot better dropping that kind of money on something you don't have to worry about blown head gaskets, spun mains, broken rods, etc.... Thanks, Crosstown. You will be hearing from me again.
A local automotive shop quoted me 2-3 days for a rim, long story short Crosstown had 2 different rims that I requested in for me to pick up within 24 hours and swapped one out for the other without question even though it wasn’t their fault I had the wrong size rim initially. I highly recommend them due to their quick response and high quality service!
They have getting better when it come to customer service. They are still good to use when you are looking for used parts. Make sure they test it before you leave.

Honestly terrible service. Walked in and everyone was stuffing their faces with pizza while I waited for someone to ask me for help. It was like walking into a psych ward. Finally someone helped me as I was looking for used tires. The lady said those are $30 a piece, I said if I buy 4 can you lower the price? She said how about I higher the price. Well I laughed and called discount tire and they were great. Actually got a pair of brand new warranted tires, balanced and everything for $65 out the door. Sorry hillbillies not today!

Awful. Gave me the wrong part and refused to refund it two weeks later. Were friendly right up until I wanted my money back. Then they became difficult to contact and extremely unfriendly. Wouldnt recommend to anyone.
