The best! We had to get a tow for my aunt's car and were dealing with it from out of town. She had been taken to the hospital & we didn't have the keys. We were dealing with so much already during this medical emergency - trying to locate the car & get it home was a lot. By the time we located the car we had only hours before the county was going to impound it. Dave got the car picked up quickly & hauled it to his parking lot to sit for a couple days while we made arrangements to pick it up. He even did all the legwork to arrange having a replacement key made in case we couldn't find a spare. He really went above and beyond. He was a bright spot during a quite difficult time. I broke down on my way from Travese City to Saginaw. Dave Clute showed up quickly and immediately assessed the situation, and even got underneath my minivan to attempt to fix it and reassure me it wasn’t as bad as it could have been, just a broken caliper pin/ bolt. He is of the Honest and hardworking generation, a man of integrity!!

My partner and I broke down right outside of Clare township and this company seemed to be the best option, turns out I was right! We were picked up by Dave: a very kind, spry, older fellow, who helped us get our car to his recommended auto-shop. He even drove us to our hotel (dropping off our stuff in our room), back out to drop off the car at the shop, and then back to the hotel again for what seemed to be A STEAL of a deal.
The time we spent with our driver was wonderful. He accomodated us when we wanted to be silent and also when we decided to make conversation. He was respectful and had a priceless wealth of knowledge on the town which was VERY helpful.
If I lived here rather than having to be towed around, I would absolutely think about applying to work for him.
OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!!! Dave was fantastic. I had a flat tire on my trailer on US 127 Dave came out hauled my trailer to his lot and recommended Bob'sTire to fix me up. Both places treated me right. If you are in need of towing in the Clare area Dave is the guy you want.
My hubby locked his keys in the car warming it up. I called at 6:15am and a nice man answered. Took him a few mins to arrive which was amazing! Only took him a few mins to get the car open! Wonderful service! Highly recommended

After I had spent 3 hours replacing an upper radiator hose, burping the radiator, among other things and still not getting it all fixed, he was kind enough to stop at Taco Bell so I could get something to eat.
The man that I had talked to on the phone recommended a repair that I could send me Subaru to and after the call I had just gotten from the repair shop, I wanted to give a thank you for that recommendation. It is hard finding a repair shop as a woman and not get scammed.
Dave Clute is one of a kind. He has always been there for me whether a simple lockout or towing a dump truck with a broken axle. He makes every call the highest priority. I highly recommend his towing services to anyone in need!

Long story short my friend is stuck in Ann Arbor doing radiation and chemo treatments. During that time, her friend got her car impounded by Clutes for no insurance. Very nice and professional service. I was stuck 200 miles from home and they saved me and had me back on the road in 3 hours. Pretty good for fuel pump problems.
Going down US 10 pulling a camper and we blew the radiator cap. Our roadside assistance wouldnt do anything. I called Clutes and he was so nice and came to our rescue right away with some radiator fluid and it didnt cost me an arm and leg lol. Thank you so much because we were all starting to over heat.
As of right now, my son is in the ditch just past The US10 and 127 Exchange. We live over 60 miles away. I Clute's Garage and Wrecker. He is pulling him out of the ditch for $35. This man is a blessing. While some companies may have helped, they may have also charged a lot more. I cannot thank them enough. Keep this Clute's listed in your phone. It was snowing heavy and I got stuck in the ditch off M10 and googled tow companies in Clare. Clute's was the first one that came up. I called, they answered promptly and they came to rescue me within an hour. Very friendly and affordable. I will call them again if I get stuck again!
