I've been to a few different real alloy facilities hands down the cold water facility has been the easiest in and out as a flatbedder. I was here for 32 minutes from the initial phone call to the guard shack / scale house to making the wide right turn to Freedom loaded , strapped down, scaled out, and leaving the property. Zero complaints in and out quickly.

I just came here for a load/unload and wanted to give a heads up to other drivers. This place is in really bad condition — there are a lot of nails and bolts scattered all over the ground.
Please be very careful if you come here. There’s a high risk of getting a tire puncture, and it doesn’t seem like anyone is taking care of the area.

I arrived at 3:30 pm in the afternoon. I had an appointment at 3:00, but I was half an hour late because of the snowfall. When I called the Scale House number, a security guy answered and said that they are closed then hung up the phone without telling me whether I should reschedule the appointment or what to do. Since it was my first time going to this place, I didn’t like his behavior.
I then went on foot to the Scale Office. After that, he told me that I needed to reschedule the appointment and that work would start tomorrow at 7:30. I contacted dispatch.and the broker book appointment a 8 morning,after check in ,the same security guy said we gonna unloading your trailer at 3;00 pm , what a worst guy I saw in my life ? I don’t support nobody to come to this place
If i had option to give no Stars i would have . They don’t value their policies which is by appointment only and they don’t give a damn about your appointment . I was here by night and gave my papers 800 clock and by 1200 i have no dock yet .Very unprofessional and Poor management.And the security guys was stupid so arrogant .
Gotta line up/ overnight park in driveway before stop sign. Call phone number to check in. They start at 7. Guard gonna call u to scale in hand in paperwork. Loader gonna out a big metal thing in front of ur truck while in dock so u cant move. Gotta scale out/pu bol wen u free but keep in mind the scale/driveway is a one way so go loop around.
I liked it,I thought it would be a bad experience reading some of the reviews,but each experience is kind of unique,I guess depending on what you ve got in the wagon.
I arrived,didn t have an appt or delivery #,so after some time,broker was closed,nothing could be sone about that,the guard,a real kind and nice guy,asked me to walk the bills to the guard and see if he could help me figure it out,and bam! just like that,he assigned me the location,he called a couple of people and assigned me dock number 2 in the back,I was out of there in less than an hour,when broker called 1hr later I was already having breakfast 20 mls away.
These are all hard working people there,but I noticed they were all nice and accomodating,be cautious,drive slow while you are inside the gates,there are fork drivers in the grounds.
I would go again,it was a pleasant experience,and you can park o/n on the side of their drive,BEFORE the instructions sign.
took sometime to check in but unloading was fast, i had scrap load & they cleaned my trailer at end, total in-out time 1:45hrs. Portable washrooms on site. By appointment time only
Showed up the night before my 8am appointment. There's a dirt lot across the street that a couple other trucks were parked in. Checked in at 8am and empty within an hour. They were friendly and helpful. Would definitely deliver here again.
Take the semi entrance off of Fillmore Rd on the north side of the property. Call/radio in upon arrival and just follow the instructions. Pretty simple and quick to get in and out with an appointment time.
