Great local spot immersed in nature. Feels like a camp of old days in the 1900s. A step back in time with cabins and a pond for swimming. Beautiful main log building for weddings and events. My daughter's cheer banquet is held here. ❣️
I walk around the property on the hiking trails. There is a lodge that you can rent for weddings, reunions (talking of reunions, and having cabins for rent to camp in). The pond is swimable and rents kayaks, fun place.
So beautiful. Little disappointed in the cabins. If we drove 14+ hours for a wedding here, the least they could do is wipe the LAYERS of dust and grime off the mattresses and take down the cobwebs. We were literally afraid to stay in the cabin with our children. Ended up getting a nearby hotel room... oh well. If we had known we would've brought our tents.
Attended a graduation party in the hall there. It had a beautiful view looking over the lake. The porch was lovely. The inside was decorated nicely as well.
What a beautiful place. I went here for a celebration of life, for someone who unfortunately left this earth too soon. This was one of his favorite places and I see why. I will absolutely book a little cabin and come back to spend a few days with my family. Peaceful, soulful, and provides a true connection to nature. ❤️✌️☀️
Went to a party at night.Did not see much.The function hall is really a nice hall.The staff was super friendly.I was told there are walking trails will have to check them out.60 acres with cabins for camping.On a pond.
The staff was great the place was great nice and clean when we left it clean I wouldn't mind coming back again thank you for the effort of making it so great too bad the weather wasn't great for us but we did it and thanks again this is it from Hanson running Gun Club a board member Richard. Went to a wedding here...Tom and Katie ❤. Didn't know what to expect but what a great place. Beautiful function hall overlooking the lake. Nice wide outdoor porch. The ceremony was held on the porch with the lake as a backdrop. We had a wonderful time. Congratulations to Tom and Katie as they start their lives together.
My first time there, looks like it will be awesome, I stopped by w/my 11 yr old & his friend, to fish. Unfortunately it was chilly, & way to windy out. Look forward to seeing if I can camp there, if not looks good to hike or fish ... So win win?
This place in the summer time has to be the WARMEST pond I've ever swam in and I've grown up in Massachusetts my whole life, on Long Pond for most of it too. Not so sure about the fishing here but perfect for a date, day with the kids or just wanna come by yourself to relax.
An absolute magical place to have a wedding! Our guests can't stop talking about what a beautiful, unique, and special venue we chose. (Good job, us!) Our ceremony was on the porch overlooking the pond, cocktail hour was outside, and the reception was in the gorgeous lodge -- and then about half our guests opted to spend the night with us in the cabins in the South End campground which was even more fun than the wedding itself! The caretakers who were on site the night of the wedding were super accommodating and helpful, and both events coordinators (first Lan, and then Dori) were amazing. We also had to change our wedding date THREE times thanks to the pandemic, and everyone at Kiwanee was nothing but helpful and kind and patient. Seriously, you cannot go wrong with having a wedding at Camp Kiwanee!
Attended a wedding here decided to rent a cabin for the night of the wedding. It was the best thing to do. Camp ground is clean, we felt safe and will definitely return for another night or two!
I stayed in the little cottage here in mid October with my sister and a friend. It's a cute cabin and I loved my stay here. It was extremely cold here however. We choose the week where it only stopped raining the day before we left. The cottage is not at all insulated so prepare to be freezing cold in the colder months and burning hot I'm the warmer months. I expected it to be cold just not that cold. The grounds are beautiful. We went on a few hikes around the place. Even on the rainy gloomy days it was stunning. I definitely recommend seeing the trails in the fall. Very very beautiful. Overall my stay was pretty good. So much so I am considering getting married here next fall.
We held our post-wedding cookout at Camp Kiwanee. Lan was wonderful to work with answering so many of my questions along the way. The day of went flawlessly with Maddie's help. The venue is so beautiful and we are so happy we chose to celebrate here in our new hometown.
Great for family outings or organization outings, woodland setting, clean bathrooms, firepit, and a beautiful hall for wedding.
Bring your kayak or canoe and go fishing or just paddle around the pond.
There is a swimming area with lifeguards and brand new docks.
Calvary Chapel Boston has a yearly outing here and baptizes new believers right in the pond.
Went for a wedding and it was beautiful. The way the ceremony was set up was kind of bad because the bride and groom were blocked by pillars the entire time so that was the only down fall. Other then that we had an amazing time and even got to stay in the cabins overnight and weren't bothered! I have been a few times to just swim and relax and it has been pleasant. If you want to swim though, I'd recommend only going where it's roped off near the beach area because otherwise, there's cinderblocks all over the place in the water and you can't see to the bottom so I've stubbed quite a few toes trying to swim or walk around.

Beautiful venue for a wedding! Good size for about 100 people, and reception hall has AC! There is an option to have your guests stay in the cabins afterwards and a "honeymoon suite" for the couple.
