It was the great snowmageddon of 26', we just recently moved to Hanson and didn't know what to expect with the storm. The heavens opened up and dumped feet upon feet of snow on us over the course of 48 hours. Noone could keep up with mere shovels, even a quality snowblower was no match for the great white frost of 26'. There l was chest deep doing my best to dig out our vehicles when a utility body with impressive graphics turned on his lights. These lights felt as if I was finally fading into my final paradise, my long awaited resting place that I've yearned for so badly. The window rolled down and there they were, my HEROES, asking if they can give me a hand. I may be stubborn but I am no idiot and quickly took them up on their offer. Within minutes I was hooked up and yanked out of my frozen hell and placed neatly in the freshly plowed road. I insisted on money, food, even some liquor for all the trouble but this holy duo refused and hammered off into the sunset with nothing for payment but a genuine "thank you". These boys did what others could not, and in a swift timely manner to boot. I owe them my life and can't stress enough how HIGHLY I recommend this company for any and all recovery needs.
Halifax PD dispatched them to tow after an accident. They then charged insurance $4000+ for the tow claiming the car needed a hazmat cleanup from fluid leaking. The car was driven to a place safely off the road after the accident with no issues. The car wasn't leaking while it sat running waiting to be towed while the police and EMTs did their checks. There was kids in the car and it was 10 degrees outside. The car was also towed from a gas station (Mobil) but in their report they lied and said it was towed from a road that was shut down. I'm pretty sure if the car was leaking and had debris scattered the firefighters would'nt have let kids sit in it to stay warm. Now they're holding the car making up excuses to continue to charge storage fees. Avoid them at all cost. Attached the report of how poorly they lied and how ridiculous this company is.

Not too long ago, I got the dreaded call from my daughter that she was on the side of the road with a flat and she was struggling to fix it. With help from a friend, we desperately tried to jack up the car high enough to remove the damaged tire. Unfortunately, we were on soft ground and not making progress. It was 9o degrees and we trying to work out a plan. Just then, Adam from McQuarrie Towing happened to be driving by and saw fit to pull over! "Can I pay you to change this tire?" I asked. "No, but I will do it for free." Adam replied with a smile, quickly grabbed his tools, and had us on our way in a matter of minutes. In a world where kindness sometimes takes a back seat, Adam reminded us that there are good people out there ready and willing to help. Thank you Adam and thank you McQuarrie Towing & Recovery!
McQuarries offers unbelievable service. They are open early, they answer their phones, and they promptly arrive to the destination of their customers. Their employees are respectful and assertive. Their towing equipment and trucks are wicked cool. Thankyou so much Mcquarries for being totally reliable! McQurrie's towing has top notch service. They were able to quickly respond and safely get my wife and her vehicle with a flat tire home quickly. 5 stars.
They were the most unprofessional and disrespectful company I ever dealt with and I am missing hundreds off dollars off tools and battery’s that were in my truck as well as kinked my brake line in the back when they were tying my truck down, I would not use them again. If there was the last tow company on earth I highly recommend you anybody else they are terrible -5 stars.

Unfortunately I got a flat tire on my way home from work and was stuck in the middle of the road. I contacted AAA who could not provide a realistic timeframe for assistance. I will not waste any more time discussing AAA....beyond disappointing, The Halifax police were amazing!! They never left me, ensured I was safe and made the decision to tow me to get me to a safe location. They contacted McQuarrie Towing who then came out to assist.
This is when I met Tim and then Alex from McQuarrie...phenomenal!! Instead of towing me, they changed the tire so that I could get home without any further inconvience!! Truly good samaritans and what a wonderful early Christmas gift! Thank you Alex and Tim for your kindness!!!

Great professional service! Called for road side assistance and they were there earlier than what they told me by phone. Hope I don’t need them again but if I do, no doubt they’ll get the call.
