I had the same Mechanic for 8 years. He was too busy for the job I needed done. So I googled M. In my area with the best reviews. I picked this Business and to my suprise Its truly a Happy New Year for me. I had an awful job; most mechanics would've turned me away or scheduled me for another week or 2. Not Mr.Ziad, who took my vehicle, kept me posted. I prayed for them, Lmbutto. Although he took me to the back and showed me what was what, everything was melted, all the belts. It wasnt an easy job. The level of professionalism is beyond superb. Im so thrilled my baby is driving like a new vehicle. I don't know what to do. Thanks to Sir Z and his crew, I'm back on the road. It was an amazing experience with Plainville Auto. I would recommend everyone to drop off their vehicles for a repair. Customer is A+ My vehicle told to say thank you, Sir.Z. and crew, it's smiling. I can’t say enough great things about Z and his shop. We’ve been going there for a little over 5 years because I know we are always in good hands. Absolutely five stars across the board!
I first started going to this repair shop in July 2024, after my family and I moved from out of state. I was nervous about switching mechanics since I had used the same one for 15 years, but Ziad and his crew at Plainville Auto are the real deal. Ziad doesn't upsell products or push for unnecessary repairs. Service is quick, professional, and reliable. I recently had my minivan's tires replaced, and Z made sure I got quality tires at a fair price. I trust Plainville Auto and will continue to use them for all my future car needs.
I have been coming here since I moved from Florida for about 9 years. Z is trust worthy and willing to squeeze you in no matter how busy he is!

The RMV doesn’t list this place on their website for where you can get an inspection after registration but you can do it here! I would highly recommend coming here for your inspection and any other car troubles you may be experiencing. The staff are friendly and understanding and treat their customers right. They got the inspection done quickly and helped me with any questions I had. Go to Plainville Auto!
Amazing service. Above and beyond. Good pricing. Last Christmas eve I was set to move. My car was loaded down and I had to be in my new place to work in less the 3 days. My car wouldnt start. Everywhere I called was quoting 14 days out. I explained the situation to plainville auto and they took it in that day and had it done by the next day, Christmas. Really solid people.

Plainville Auto did a great job overall. The service was quick and professional, and they got my car in and out without any hassle. The staff was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Prices were fair, though not the cheapest around—but you get what you pay for. I appreciated the honest recommendations and no pressure to do extra work. I’d definitely go back for future repairs or maintenance.
I have been taking my vehicles to Ziad aka Z for the last 3 or 4 years. My daughter and son cars are serviced by Z also. We have all been taken by car repair people. So when I changed to him 4 years ago my previous mechanic quoted me $1400 for a new catalytic converter. My son said check out Z which I did - Bret (mechanic) said we can fix it for $400 !!! Which they did - been with him ever since. Even when Ziad is busy he makes the time to check and throw the car on a lift to ID the issue and address it or when it can be done.
He does work that Needs to be done not unnecessary extra money wasters.

My car broke down and I got it towed to a dealership and they told me I needed a new alternator and batty for over a thousand. Thinking this was a high price, I went to Plainville auto and asked their opinion and they told me I was being overcharged. I got the car towed to Plainville auto and they fixed it for half the price and in one day! So grateful for their honesty and will be my mechanics going forward!
I was on my way to Providence RI when my car broke down on Rte 95. I googled to see the closet repair shop and Plainville Automotive came up with great reviews. I called Tripple A and had them tow my car there. Z who is the owner, was extremely busy with his other customers, and actually backed up because they are so good. I explained that I live over 1.5 hours away and I am stuck and have nowhere to go. He ended up fixing my car right away and charged me a VERY, VERY fair price. I would definitely recommend Plainville Auto Repair to everyone. Hell, I might as well drive the 1.5 hour for his services.

Z is the man, always does great work for a fair price. He’s reliable and always honest about what needs repair on our cars. Our go-to for oil changes, inspection stickers, and tune-ups as well as brake and engine jobs.
Whenever I have an emergency whether my tires keep losing air or my headlight happens to go out I can rely on Plainville Auto to complete the job immediately. This is also always completed the day of within the span of half an hour or less. I don't know what my vehicle or would do without this establishment. This business is truly a life saver and owned by the most kind and hardworking individual.
Ziad is awesome! I went into this place with jaded eyes and no hope for the morrow or a mechanic’s honesty. But this guy is better than legit, he’s super thoughtful & considerate. Excellent professionalism, explained everything clearly in a straightforward way & helped us out with a ride so I wouldn’t have to wheel down the road in a wheelchair. ? Very lovely fellow & fabulous service all around. He solved a problem with my car for $60 that the dealer charged me a few hundred to not figure out.
I randomly went to Plainville Auto because they were the closest auto shop to my house. I couldn’t be any happier I chose the right place. Z and staff are very friendly, helpful, and reasonable. I’ve used this place 3 times now and each was a positive experience. They are honest about the work needing to be done and upfront about the cost. They seem to genuinely care about their customer and I noticed. I have referred a friend there and we’re still friends so she must’ve liked them as well.
Now four times and my 6 year old muffler was replaced new hangers and midpipe repaired perfectly for $115 less than just the muffler at another shop I had a quote from. These guys really are the best. Finished in half a day on 3 days notice. Amazing.
They gave us a quick and accurate diagnosis, and did great quality work at a very fair price. Z. was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The repair was completed before the promised timeline. A very positive experience! We will not hesitate to return. Many thanks to Plainville Auto!

I have been bringing my family’s and my car to Plainville Auto for over 8 yrs. I have had many mechanics in the past and Ziad is by far the best. He is always personable, always a quick turn around, his costs are always fair and he is very trustworthy. I wouldn’t bring our cat to anyone else.

Z took very good care of us! Needed an inspection to go on a car trip. There was an issue and it wouldn’t pass. He got the part and installed it within 2 hours and we left for our trip on time! He even changed the oil and wiper blades in that time! Excellent, fast, friendly service!
