Very fast to schedule appointment, but their review process takes a week each time the shop finds any damage. Together, the initial review and subsequent 2 supplements took 3 weeks for Viking to respond. My car would’ve been done in 2 weeks if Viking was more efficient in responding.
When dealing with Viking Appraisal, they have their foot on the brake. Appraisal done first week of Dec.was not sent to autobody shop until middle of Jan..not at all professional when dealing with customers.
Incompetent! Shows up at their convenience and doesn't thoroughly assess the vehicle! Complaints don't matter! I suggest inquiring to your insurance company as to who the vendor is and don't buy your insurance from them if they contract with this company! It is more than a headache...it is a nightmare!
The insurance company assigned Viking Auto Appraisal to provide an estimate for my damaged car, it has been one week but their agent never showed up, and their office isn't responding to calls. It seems like they're intentionally avoiding their responsibilities. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. The level of incompetence is unbelievable

I've been told via my insurance company that Viking auto appraisal will assess the damage to my car. i got text messages ensuring me that viking will send out someone to check the car today, tried to reach out to their office, i was on-hold for 35 min and nothing happned. I can't release my car for the repair and no one is responiding.
Great experience with Viking. My insurance reached out to them for an appraisal and Viking reached out to me same day. At 8am the next morning they were at my house and appraising the vehicle, having texted me along the way. At less than a 24 hour turnaround, you can't ask for more.
Collisions are stressful and sometimes businesses like this get people's frustrations taken out on them unfairly. I'm extremely appreciative of Viking!
Poor auto appraisal on new truck a small accident cost $1000, can up to almost $5000 horrible don’t know what they doing ripping insurance carrier with the auto body!?
This appraisal It’s not a good service. Take them forever to get appraisal done try to contact them so many time. Going back and forth for almost a month now nothing get done so I had to do it under my insurance appraisal. Do not show up for appraisal at the dealership. When they appraise your car is missing out, so many things that need to be fixed. Bad service. not recommend
My car has been finished and I have waited for more than 7 days for Viking to send someone to my body shop authorize the final payment for my insurance claim. So my car is just sitting there meanwhile I am paying for a rental

Will hold your car hostage at repair facility by refusing to send out an appraiser. We have waited for more than 10 days for Viking to send someone to authorize the final payment for our insurance claim.
The service is absolutely horrible!!! I was scheduled to inspect the damage of the car. I was told to stay home for a whole day. No timeframe when they will be coming ,no way of contacting for the service if it's done or not. Called the office and so hard to reach anyone for help. It is very frustrating .

Aside from some parts that were on the appraisal. The whole process was quick. My vehicle was seen (1) day after the accident. Bob answered all of my questions and submitted the necessary repairs to the shop.
I have had an open claim on my car since the beginning of August because the appraiser (Paul) from this firm disappeared without a trace shortly after requesting more information from me (which I sent promptly.) Despite repeated attempts to reach him (and also an associate he suggests trying if he's unavailable) I have had no resolution.
This is the first time I have ever had to expend so much of my personal time and energy trying to get an auto insurance claim settled and I'm done.
My next call will be to my insurer (Vermont Mutual) to inform them of just how this company treats their customers.
If you get a call from Viking Auto Appraisals wanting to perform an appraisal for an insurance claim on your car, do yourself a favor and ask your insurer to send a diffrerent appraisal company. Viking will provide nothing but frustration and aggravation.
We have been referring our insureds auto claims to Viking Appraisals for over a decade and have found them to be responsive, professional and fair in their insurance appraisals.
Bunch of crooks I had accident in my work parking lot they send this garbage company out for appraisal my car has more damage to my car than what they wrote for appraisal they will low ball you and appraisal so they don’t write how much damage there really is.This company independent contractor they don’t care about the customer there in business for writing low offers so they can pocket whatever money they don’t write for if there anyone that reading this stay away from this company there complete garbage they don’t know what there doing.
They called me promptly following my call to my Ins. Agent and when I had to call back, the woman I spoke with was very professional and polite.....so far so good..
God awful at keeping a schedule, slow at getting to appraisals. Took them almost a month to get to my car. They didn't even schedule it, I had to call to ask when they were going to do it. Their response was tantamount to "we were waiting for you to call us and set a time". The car wasn't with me but at a auto body shop that I told them about in a previous phone call.
An adjuster was suppose to contact me to set up a date and time, never did so I called them. They told me they had an date and time already set up. They showed up, called me after they already left told me they would email me in 1 to 2 days, never did. Contacted them, no answer back a week later. Contacting them back today hopefully they call me back this time. Also never contacted my brother back about 3 weeks ago when he totaled his car when they said he would get an email as well.
