Omg NICE tow truck driver!!!! If you’ve dealt with a lot of not great experiences CALL THEM. they came FAST. So appreciative!!! Literally can’t say enough nice things.
They identified the problem, diagnosed the likely issue, identified another small issue, brought me to my mechanics, were solicitous and thoughtful.
The team was extremely friendly and efficient! Their online payment system was really convenient and the driver made sure to answer all our questions. We will definitely use CJ Auto & Tow if needed in the future!

Had to get my car towed to a repair shop. The man on the phone was very helpful suggesting places to go and the truck arrived within 10 minutes of the phone call. Very quick and helpful.

Extremely expensive and the tow truck driver I had was extremely rude, I kept telling him my sway bar was broken and I was afraid if he tried to drive my car it would only make it worse, he was so rude and basically told me it was his way or the highway. And not for nothing but they already put a dent in my number from the time before when it was towed so basically every tow I end up with more problems than I had in the first place.
Our car broke down and through our Triple A, we received a tow from CJAuto. They arrived promptly, were quick, efficient, friendly and professional. Really, in a situation like that, about as good as it gets. Highly recommend.
My husband's car broke down tonight after most places were closed. CJ's was a friendly helpful voice on the phone, they picked him up in 10 minutes from when we called (and found him on a dark street!), got our car to our near-home mechanic, and delivered him safely as well. CJ's turned a rough night into a much easier experience.
Juan is a very skilled and careful operator. My Challenger sits about 2.5" off the ground and he was able to load and unload it without any unwanted contact. These guys will be my go-to if I need a tow on the future.
I was surprised to enter my circle and find a CJ tow truck blocking the entrance to 10 homes. When I got out to see if the tow truck driver could move he said he would not(he was busy changing a tire). He said I would have to wait and blocking the road was not his problem since a home owner was parked on the other side and was just as much responsible. FYI he could of moved the truck backwards or forwards to unblock the road. I had enough time to call the tow truck’s number expecting the office would not be down with their drivers blocking roads and they hung up on me. Hence the one star review is the best I can do to let people know about their company. Good news is if you are their client they will only think of you

Do not take your automobile to this business for repair. I had cv axles and ball joints replaced by this company they placed the wrong parts on the car. when i began having trouble w the car i.e. leaking around seals, cv axle not snug into trans housing, they even had the ball joint oil pin rubbing against the cv boot. Ive had 8 mechanics look at this problem and they all shook their heads in disbelief. one even said, "a child could've done a better job." when i called this company to address this situation first he argued basically saying i was wrong, i didn't know what i was talking about. then, they said bring the car back and he'll take a look at. well, the reason i got the car fixed in the first place was because i was moving to another state. sometimes when doing a job you gotta do it right the first time. otherwise don't be in a profession where your work could risk peoples lives. now im having to pay another mechanic to the same job which should've been done right in the first place.
After a long stressful day of doctors and hospitals for my dad, I agreed to take mom to a condolence call in Newton. Tired and hungry it was the last thing I wanted to do, but we set off from Florence St. in Chestnut Hill. After hitting a pothole, onto a curb, I knew my front passenger-side tire was blown. It was the second time it happened with my mother, this winter. Supposedly the new mall and Wegman's were supposed to repave Florence St. I'm still waiting...
AAA said it would take about 45 minutes, but Mark arrived before that to take the tire and replace it with the donut. He was quick and efficient. But most of all, he made me smile. (really helped my attitude)
I’m very please with this company and the services they provided. Very kind and respectful people who always took care of my car and also a very competitive prices.
Incompetent. Got roadside assistance and the guy couldnt figure out how to jump start my car and still charged me for the service and left. I got it jump started the following day by a different guy that did the exact same thing but it worked.
I was having some trouble with my car since a few weeks before but I was hesitating to get it fixed, so one day coming back home from work my car suddenly was slowing down by himself and I had to pull over on a side of the freeway because my car broke down. It was kind of late, was a tough day and I only wanted to go home, so I went online and I found a 24-hour-service form CJ Auto & Tow and called them right the way. They came pretty soon and I was relieved to see them. They gave me an honest diagnosis of the problem and quote, I could finally go home and I had me my car back on time too. Thanks God for smartphones and CJ Auto!
These guys are awesome. I needed a tow at 2 in the morning and they were there to the rescue. I'm glad that they had a flatbed tow truck because I drive a Subaru which is all wheel drive. Thanks for helping me out guys.
After reading the other comments, its hard to believe this is the same place. The sheer amount of time I spent getting service, and poor service at that, was unbelievable.
This place was horrid, and easily my worst customer experience with an auto repair shop ever. It took 4 hours and 2 tow trucks to even get my car to their shop (the first tow truck didn't have the correct tow hook for my car, and refused to jump start me so I could get into the trunk for mine). Was told an hour max for the second tow truck, waited an hour and a half before I called and was assured 'he's at the shop and will be there in a minute". He finally showed up nearly 40 minutes later, a feat considering I was less than 2 miles from their shop.
Both tow truck drivers were told the car had a blown fuse, possible dead battery, and coolant leak. Apparently the coolant leak got lost in the mix, because it was never fixed. I asked them the potential cost over the phone, and I was told "$75 for the towing, and then whatever needs to be done. We'll tell you when it needs to be done." However, after the car was taken from me I lost all communication with them; they did not answer my phone calls at just before 2 (shop closing time), 3, or 3:30 (they'd said they'd be working late). Assuming they'd closed for the day, I finally gave up on waiting and decided to go out and run errands, using the bus.
At 4 I was finally called and informed that they'd fixed the fuse and battery but he didn't really have time to look at the coolant leak so he was just going to give it back to me. I was told I had until 5 to pick up the car or it would be a $35/day charge. I explained that I was now a good distance away and this was my only day off, and I was told to 'stop trying to guilt trip him, that is the fee'. When I proceeded to then challenge him on the amount of time the entire day had taken so far (nearly 4 hours to get the car to them, and then 3 in the shop) and the lack of communication, he declared "Here's this for a guilt trip, I'll add on $35 for today and Sunday too if you don't get it within the hour." and hung up on me.
I then got to bus-hop back to the closest bus stop at about 4:30, where he said he'd drop my car off to me in lieu of me walking all the way to the shop. Half hour went by, called him. Once again, phones ring but no pickup. Called again at 45 minutes. Finally got them to answer after repeatedly calling-- they claimed they were writing up the order just then and would be there in 5 minutes. They finally arrived after an hour of me sitting at the bus stop and presented me with a bill for $158 for essentially towing (which I had okayed) and an hour worth of labor to jump-start it, which I had not been informed of their rates until that point. When I objected to that high a cost for something I'd asked for at the parking garage and the lack of consent on the charge before they'd done something (which is the law), I was told 'too bad'. A threat to notify the BBB was met with insult-slinging by the driver, calling me an idiot amongst other things.
Added bonus, now since getting the car back from them a new error alert has appeared on my dash. I dare not take it back to these chuckleheads if I ever want to see the car again. I understand that delays and errors happen, I didn't even hold the tow hook thing against them; it was the total lack of communication and caring that they essentially wasted my day that gets to me. I guess this is what happens when you're one of the few tow trucks open on a Saturday.
I needed a tow out of the freeway to safety so I called CJ, he showed up with his tow truck within minutes and towed me out to safety. He didn't charge much and he was able to fix my car in a reasonable time. Thanks!
Thanks for saving my day and making it less hectic. Got a flat and needed a rim as well. I called them and Craig came right away. Towed my car and fixed the tire and rim for way less than what others would have charged me. Very nice guy, courteous and professional. Got a lift to work as well and the whole experience was great. Will recommend him to anybody!
Craig changed the front brakes (rotors and pads) on my Honda.
I would recommend him to anybody - punctual & effective service, great communication.
Also, he charged almost $100 less than two other garages I got quotes from.
