Most the cars they sell has issues without any announcement transmissions bad and they are not allowing to check them out it use to be a good company but it is been sold all the good reviews from the past owner
Do not by from this place they will knowing stick you with a bad car. Nobody knows what they are doing. Arbitration is a joke they will spend days looking at a car to tell you nope you own it .They have a machinic from herb chambers using 'parts cleaner' to spray off oil leaks to make the vehicles look as if they have no leaks. Put what you buy in post sale ? Dont bother if its bad they will send it to you no matter what or not even put it in the building and charge the customers anyways the little guy running the place shouldn't be in charge of a paper bag. smug little man with a god complex will tell you one thing and do another. buy a car from the ex lane it's probably junk and not announced correctly the amount of shady things they do is astonishing .
Scammers don’t cancel proxy bids, so you end up buying a faulty vehicle. Even if it was marked with a green light initially, it might suddenly be switched to a red light once it’s on the floor.
If you are a car dealer and you're trying to buy online at this auction... you have found Nirvana! I've been in the car business longer than most people have been alive. I did not know that this kind of professionalism and courtesy existed in today's day and age. What a revelation! A breath of fresh air in an otherwise sad and divisive world. I had multiple issues that were of my own making because of my lack of organization and ineptitude dealing with computers and the internet; yet, they were patient and kind and every single person was willing to stay on the phone and explain everything I need to know and they ALL made follow-up calls to make sure that I got what I needed. I even pocket-dialed one man while he was at a baseball game with his child and he called me back when the game was over!
By the way : I'm from the South and if you are worried about doing business with Yankees - get that out of your head now, because these people are more polite and genteel than Emily Post, Dale Carnegie, and Princess Grace of Monaco all rolled into one. This is how business should be done! Special Kudos to: Tara, Harley, Liam, Gino, Anthony, and Joe, and many others.
I have been coming here for years , everybody from the front desk to Gino in arbitration are great & fair to work with ! I most definitely recommend this auction to other dealers !
I want to personally recognize Gino in arbitration. We had an issue come up with a vehicle that was state registration error. That resulted in a negative showing on auto check. Gino pointed me in the right direction and I was able to get the issue resolved. If you have a legitimate issue Gino is more than fair.
Great place had a awesome time the cars are more times than none in good condition run great atmosphere is good too all in all definitely recommend checking this one out 5 stars

We love AAA Boston so much we're weekly buyers! The auctioneers are great, the front office staff is very helpful, and the accounting person who I speak with weekly to pay for my cars knows my name. I had a great experience with Gino in Arbitrations today - he did the right thing for a frequent buyer, using common sense and business savvy in a high stakes situation. We will continue to buy weekly at Lynnway.
Joe was very helpful in trying to capture a vehicle for us. For one of my clients. Went over and above to try and assist. Staff in the office walked my title paperwork through. My client is happy
From a transporters perspective. Dropping off vehicles is no problem at all. But when you go to pick up cars... Well that's another story.... cars are HARDLY EVER where they're supposed to be.... then trying to get the yard people's attention can be a hurry up & wait issue. For either a jump start or help finding cars.
I pick up vehicles here weekly for the last two or so years and it was always an Easter egg hunt taking sometimes hours to find my vehicles. That changed today when I met Kevin, the most helpful employee to ever assist me here. I was in, loaded and on my way in under an hour! Thank you Kevin for the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time.
This a company with really nice people working for them. They know what they are doing, they are very professional and they do everything they can to accommodate things in order to help us when we need. I spoke today with Tara(I hope I understood her name correctly)and she answered the phone, she had all the information from us right away and she helped me with accuracy, professionalism and with such a friendly attitude. And she didn't need to transfer to anyone - she was ready to send me the title overnight as I requested! That is totally rare nowadays where people usually have no clue of what they are doing. Congratulations to Tara and to the entire Lynnway Auto Auction Team...you guys rock!!!
Horrible experience. No communication with the dealers and even themselves. Will never do any business with them again, This is why ACV is taking over the industry.
Negative experience with Lynnway. After purchasing a vehicle gave them a call to tell the check will be sent FedEx overnight. They said no problem. They received the check next morning, yet still floored the vehicle with my floorplan. Angela said it will be taken care of. A week later had to give them call again as the vehicle was still on the floor plan and they had my check. Called again, was told again : We will take car of this. They never did. Finally they just sent my check back. $ 300 down the drain in floor fees/interest plus fedex overnights for the car that was paid next day. Noone cares there. Buyers beware.
its been a week and two days since I purchased my vehicle at the auction. it came with an engine issue and im still waiting for the damn title which still hasnt been delivered. I called yesterday and they told me they found the title and it was never mailed. they offered to mail it but I doubt they will so I now have to drive 45 minutes to go pickup a title that I cannot rely on a popular company to deliver to me.
We travel 3+ hours to this auction (one way), and often come back with the cars and trucks we need. Customer service is top notch, auction and operations is run smoothly and quickly. Facility is organized, modern and clean. Awesome facility!
Favorite auction around, get treated with respect... Extremely clean. Joe S, Gino and Sully are great.
I buy about 10 cars a week here, and the process is always excellent, especially comparing to purchasing from Manheim...
Fees are a little high, but what do you expect for such a big auction... Wanna pay cheap fees go to the run down crappy auctions and buy the junk.
Besides that, this place is great!

How Pathetic! This auction is sooo desperate for sales that they hired the biggest crook and liar of Massacusetts. A guy that introduces himself as Gene but literally turns out he is a Convicted felon Darryl Gene. Rivernider, who was released from a Florida prison last February. He apparently was handling used cars in Massachusetts and now is back again. What a surprise! As Mr. Rivernider appears to be active again in the handling of used cars, officials of the state Attorney General's office say they are looking at ways to collect $300,000 in restitution and penalties that Mr. Rivernider and his wife, Brenda, owe the state. Now why would Lynn auction hire such a person. Not Professional nor trustworthy!
Out of the surrounding auctions, this one is my favorite so far. We buy an average of 7 per week. Sometimes up to 15 cars. I love the HUGE indoor lanes. High ceilings, and they can fit like 5-6 cars per lane inside. Which is awesome when it's scorching sun our freezing rain outside. Compared to most other auctions, which are low ceilings and only fit like 2-3 cars, so sometimes you're forced to go outside to see whats coming up. VERY CLEAN EVERYWHERE. Staff are easy to deal with, most of the time.
Only drawback is parking. Especially for trailers. I go to all auctions with my trailer so I can pick some cars up right away. VERY limited trailer parking. Got a ticket when I parked on the street. Then on Charter rd, if you don't come early enough theres no room. At one time, I almost went home. Guy at the entrance basically told me sorry, no room, you have to leave. Kind of a douche too. After telling him to call someone else and telling them who I am, they found a spot for me at some other location where they had the shuttle pick me up. So that's been working out lately I guess... As long as I keep getting a spot somewhere, it works.
If you guys somehow get more parking somewhere, so I can come park and buy with no headaches and not worrying if I have to turn around and go home, I will come back and edit to give you 5 STARS!
