I had an issue with a dead mouse in my car. Whoever I spoke to was knowledgeable and told me exactly where to look for it and what to do. Every other place I contacted wanted me to bring the car in for service. I found the poor little mouse within minutes and took care of the problem myself. Thank you!
I first was introduced to Ashland Motors over 20 years ago, when they were over on Alden Street in Ashland. Dean and his crew worked on all 4 of our various Volvo's, (my wife's XC70 and our '79 245, then again working on our '82 242 turbo). When they moved to their current location, we continued to use Dean, where they worked on our '02 XC70.
We have since moved away from the area, but the knowledge the shop has in working on all forms of vehicles is outstanding and you will be hard pressed to find a more reasonable shop anywhere around!
Small car mechanic with a big heart. Dean and his staff always want to help and fix. They fun very busy but always worth it. I have been going for years. I made an appointment and he couldn’t take me for weeks. Then my car problem got worse and he took me sooner to fix my car!

Dean has serviced both my cars BMW and Acura and has been extremely meticulous!! He is trustworthy and really knowledgeable on problems and always fixes my car rightfully at a reasonable cost! I am not going to a dealer ever!
Dean does great work and is a pleasure to do business with. He put new springs and shocks on my diesel excursion and gave it a new lease on life. Dean did all the work on my wife’s Volvo. We got the run around at the local area Volvo dealers and finding Dean was a godsend!!

When I have used his services I have always been very happy with everything. Dean's work has always been professional, on time and fairly priced.
They are very professional and helpful. When I needed a battery change, they lent me their jump start pack even though I was a new customer so that I could start my car and drive it to the shop.
Took my car for a synthetic oil change. Dean was very kind to fit me in the same day and when I went in took me in right away and was done in 25 mins. All the mechanics very busy working very polite.
I've taken several cars to Dean over the years, and they have been fair, prompt, and straightforward about what needs to be done and why. They don't pile on or over-sell unnecessary service. I'd recommend them for most import vehicles including Volvo and Audi.
Great people here. Honest. I've done a lot of work on my own cars in the past but now I really don't have time. I stopped by with my Audi A6 to have them diagnose an engine sound. They were totally honest with me and told me its safe to drive and no engine repair was needed right now.
Reliable, honest and quality work, Going back many years, Ashland motors has always been good, but with Dean managing it is even better. He really knows his Volvos!
Dean is the king of Volvo's. We own four of them now and Dean services them all. We have been with Dean since he worked in downtown Ashland. Still the best around and we have tried a lot of them!
