HONEST mechanic and does great work! That's a rare find these days. I have a CR-V and have gone to him a few times over the past few years for service. This time I brought it to him for something that I thought was going to cost me a fortune and it ended up being small money. He could have easily lied and charge me a lot more. Another thing I like about him is that he takes the time to explain the problem to me and how it will be fixed. Just an all around good mechanic. I've had a few friend go there and they all said great things too. I highly recommend him!
Poor service have a problem he said it was not them was not them cha ged the oil in my truck the one he had do it did not know what hes was doing over tighten the oil filter started to leak had to go to a place close to where i was over tighten filter they had a hard time getting it off with out any damage i went in showed him starting screaming not done. By them poor work and i showed him other reviews on google other people had oil change issuse he lost his temper. Second time i had poor service on my jeep he told me the rear end was going 6000 to fix it i knew it was not rear end took it to another place it was a break rotter i dont think he has certifed mechanics working there poor place to work with if you have a problem after a repair he wont do anything to help you keep away from ther. Thank you for pep boys helping me out for a issue caused by oil change done wrong not the only one it had oil change problems from joles. pep boy is the place to go better prices work done proper and certifed mechanics joel would not talk to me about it or listen to me what happned started screaming at me he will not do anything for a mistake his help makes as leaving he said to me i hope you die knowing i have heart problemsand if he offer you scrap saying your car not worth fixi g and you sell it to him check off salavage on title he will sell it as a good car
Joel’s Service and Repair Center is a great place to go for quick, good and reliable service. Joel is honest and is accommodating; always doing his best to get my car in & out quickly. He communicates well & his prices are fair. My car is a make and model that makes it a challenge to find parts for repair, but Joel always manages. He tries to find the right and most economical solution. I recommend Joel without reservation. Thanks Joel & team!
I am not usually one to make a review but I am always really happy with Joel's service! He goes above and beyond even for a last minute issue. He's honest and his prices are never unreasonable.

They were five stars in Pelham, NH and they are five stars in Dracut, MA too! It's almost impossible these days to find truly HONEST, CARING, and CONSISTENTLY AWESOME auto mechanics. Their staff is super friendly, Joel is always polite and upfront about what I need done (and about what I don't - especially if another 'shop' closer to home tries to con me!) and he's not afraid to tell me about what can wait until next time. Joel's Auto Repair doesn't take advantage of novice customers when they're vulnerable - I'd put money on the fact that he's a rare breed in the auto repair industry!!! From now on I'll push or tow my cars from where ever I break down just to make sure his shop is the one to take care of my car needs. His service and professionalism certainly makes it worth it!
Went there for the first time today for a front end alignment.. I had already replaced any worn parts. Got the truck back in 3 hours. Very nice people, professional and good prices. Didn't try to sell me work I didn't need.. will be back in the future for sure.
Positivity the best auto shop in Lowell area. The guy’s isn’t trying to break you. Go solid work at a very reasonable rate and time. I will not bring my family’s vehicles any where but here. If you need a repair, give him a try you won’t be disappointed. And if you need a very nice used car go to his brother at Charlie’s Auto in Pelham , very nice cars
My first impression is he seems kind and honest. I have had issues in the past with mechanics, overcharging and overlooking issues. He is reasonably and affordably priced. My only regret is not finding this place sooner, I got quoted hundreds more for half the work at speedy. I dropped the car off at 8:20 and it was done by 3. They even had to grab a part from a warehouse. So far the work seems amazing, I definitely think I found my new go to guy for car work! Thank you!
Joel and Millie and John are the best!! They're so friendly and personable! Also honest and don't try to sell you any work you don't need. My daughter and her husband take their cars there too. I highly recommend Joel's Auto Repair!!!!
