Very shady job done with my vehicle, new door left entirely loose upon install, left my alignment two minutes off after an impact to the wheel by the way lol. Also did not provide me with an invoice post job or even update me when it was done. Very Very dissapointing.

Fred, his team, and the front desk staff were just the best. These are the people you want to trust your vehicle with! The process, the timing and the car detail at the end made it feel like a brand new Jeep when I got it back. Won't go anywhere else now, Auto Engineering is the standard. Thank you!

The folks at Auto Engineering did an excellent job in repairing the dent in my car as well as fixing cosmetic injuries. The car was returned to me as if it was brand new. I am really pleased with the service I received and I specifically appreciate Dwayne's help. My car was fixed in a timely manner and returned to my home when the repairs were completed.

Sensational work. The paint specialist at Auto Engineering Body Works is second to none. When refinishing the front bumper of the car, he opted to manually mix colors, glitter, and luster additive to achieve a better match to the now-discontinued factory color than what could be achieved using an over-the-counter 3rd party replica paint. It was hard for me to believe that this method could match or surpass the results achieved from high end imaging equipment, but his eye and attention to detail delivered in spades. Included in the accompanying images is a close up shot of a repainted panel adjacent to two factory painted panels. It's nearly impossible to tell the difference in most lighting conditions. The only minor flaw is a high amount of "orange peel" texture on the clear coat of the newly painted part, however a Wet-Sand and buff can mitigate this without removing too much clear coat. Hats off the the paint man. Would 100% recommend paying the shop's higher prices for such high quality work. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The best auto body shop in the Boston area! Want the best customer service? And fast turnaround? This is the place

I recently used Auto Engineering Body Works to repair rockers and replace fenders on my older, but dear to me VW Jetta. The quality of work is incredible which is probably why the shop was full of high end cars like Porsche, Maserati, Mercedes. I would definitely recommend Auto Engineering Body Works for any body repairs needed!

I Don’t think I could say enough great things about this company. Everyone was friendly, courteous, and professional. The work I had done was amazing. I don’t usually give five stars but, I am incredibly thankful and happy with the work that was done.

Simply put, this is not a reliable or trustworthy body shop. My car is a 13yr old BMW, but I keep it very clean and it was ready for some clean up work to keep it looking fresh. After many years of reliable work at a nearby shop, I followed a recommendation to try another shop someone I trusted had a good experience with. My front and rear bumper were featuring some scuffs/wear, and the decorative window trim was scratched. I also had a scratch along the side of the car.wanted to replace my clouded side markers and a cracked lower front grill. The estimate was fair, and the work was scheduled to take 7-10 days, which seemed appropriate. Given current supply chain issues, I ordered the replacement parts 2 weeks in advance through the shop, and paid a sizable deposit. The car was first returned without the rear work completed, and 3 weeks later than anticipated. The body shop's detail person was a bit of a butcher with the orbital buffer, and my hood (previously immaculate) was heavily swirled. They agreed to take the car back and perform the rear work. The representative pretended they never put that work on the estimate, acting like it was just an honest mistake. I noted to him that the estimate I approved did in fact have that work on there, and he said he'd check on that. Thankfully I kept the original estimate. Two weeks later (so over 5 weeks for a 7-10 job), I went to pick up the car. Additional charges were applied for the rear work (almost 2x of the original estimate) as the rep again claimed they had not included that on the original estimate. I obviously objected to that, and to how long the work took compared to their original estimate. I then produced the original esimate showing the rear work in detail. Clearly he didn't expect me to have the original printout, and began scrambling to try and explain. I then said even if for some reason I didn't have the original, why wouldn't he have called me to tell me what the new charges would be before doing the work? At this point, I said forget it. I'd handle this all with the owner later, and handed the receptionist my card. I told her to run the entire amount, and that I'd let the owner make the right decision later when we spoke, but the rep stopped the admin from charging my card, and began scrambling. After a few minutes, he handed me another that had removed 40% of the bill (thousands of dollars). I objected to that and insisted paying the higher amount, but he wouldn't allow the receptionist to run anything but the new bill. He also didn't want me taking a copy of the higher priced bill, which I promptly took pictures of. Later after bringing the car home, I was more closely inspecting the car, and noting they had buffed most of the swirls from the hood out, when I found a deep scratch that had clearly been (attempted) to be filled by touch up paint. I called the rep, and he denied any work had been done to the hood (!!). Window trim had been installed poorly, and wasn't lining up. I also found out that at any highway speed, my windows were whistling and rattling loudly. When I later addressed this with the owner, he admitted they worked on the hood, and said the buff job "uncovered the scratch" and that out of the goodness of their heart, they tried to fill it for me. It looks terrible. It's bad enough I'll need to paint the hood this coming spring. He also disowned my new window rattling issue, saying they did nothing to the windows (obviously, whatever they did when installing the window trim did this.) Had I not reviewed both estimates closely, I'd have easily been charged thousands of dollars more than I was supposed to. Having been in the automotive business, I know this scam, and I know a lot of unknowledgeable people that go here are being wildly overcharged. This is a predatory operation that performs less than acceptable work at a far longer schedule than they advertise. I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere for your body work.

Went to get my 2021 fixed at this body shop. When I picked up the car there were visible gaps between the fender and bumper, they tried to fix it but eventually told me " no car is ever the same after leaving the dealership." There was also a scratched headlight which I refused to take the vehicle like that and they had to replace. There's a piece of the fender which isn't even, they left paint or glue like material in between my windows, I'm assuming it's from what they placed to cover the windows when they paid the the car. I had very high hopes for this place but I was completely disappointed after a $5k job. Don't waste your time here.

Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and very hospitable. The vehicles we have had repaired here are returned to us as if they were never in an accident.

Like magic! I thankfully only had some minor cosmetic damage and vehicle came back like new, on time and at the quoted price. Relationship with Enterprise rental to have a car ready to use at drop off and able to leave the rental at the shop at pickup was perfect. I hope I don’t need to come back...but I’m 100% glad to know about this shop.

Although recommended by Mercedes dealer they missed some details on the work requested, forgot to reattach the front plates, forgot to call me when the car was ready the first time and when I took it again to complete the work, they told me the car was ready when it wasn't. The work done was proper, on time and reasonable price.

I have been coming to Auto Engineering for many years. My service advisor at Mercedes-Benz of Burlington suggested them. They are actually officially licensed by Volkswagen of America, Porsche North America and Mercedes-Benz USA. They are very good at handling insurance claims and getting their clients whole again. If your getting a job done where you have to pay out-of-pocket the pricing is very reasonable and fair. If you need help getting a rental car they'll make that arrangement for you. If you have a classic car that can do work on that as well. They are perfectionist. The owners Freddie and Minas are gentlemen You won't regret bringing your car here. I'm a car guy and you can trust Auto Engineering!

A family business run the way a family business is supposed to be run. The work they do is quality and they understand stand a customer's wants. They fixed my t-boned vehicle so well and trust me there was a lot that needed to be done. That when I purchased my dream used car I sent to them to make as beautiful as I expected.

The best when it comes to Autobody work. Fred takes it into a completely different level, the most professional, honest & reliable body shop I dealt with. Thank you.

Had my refrigerated Metris van repaired here at the recommendation of several different Mercedes sales and service staff. Our van was rear-ended and they took care of the door insulation as well as the body work. They were professional, thorough and stayed late to finish the work so we could have our van back on the road for a busy weekend. They took care of all the details perfectly. I would recommend them.

OK work but nothing special. They did major work after a crash (about $23,000). All the appearance work looked good. However, the work on parts no one normally sees was shoddy. I later pulled the front bumper and grill off to do some maintenance and upgrades and I found broken clips and missing retainers. Also they reused an obviously damaged inner fender assembly. Additionally, the front bumper absorber was missing clips and held on with painters tape.

I just called to ask if they would put the plates on my newly registered car. They said yes and I could bring my car right away. 10 minutes later my plates were on and I was on my way back home. They wouldn't charge me so I wanted to tip but he wouldn't accept a tip. I'm now back home feeling reassured that if I have an accident I know where my car and I will be in good hands!

I have used them twice to repair my Audi. Both times they have delivered! On both occasions the paint match was perfect, they worked with the insurance to get new parts (rather than used), and even coordinated the AutoBond paint protection tape installation. They pay close attention to detail, and treated it like their personal car. They even clean the interior before you get it back. I can't recommend them enough - they are great to work with and do a superb job.
