Decent prices but the hours are not great and they are closed on weekends. Also, they never update you when your vehicle is ready so you just have to keep calling. Appointments are not by time slot so you just leave the car when they open and never hear back when it's done. If you are trying to just rent a bay and do your own work, they demand that you wear pants which is ridiculous. I'm not welding, I'm changing my oil.
The worst hobby shop I’ve experienced by far. Between inconsistent hours and outlandish stipulations, If you actually work on your cars, find somewhere else to do it.
A mechanic came out to my place on base and tested the battery to find the culprit of why my car wasn’t working. Didn’t charge me at all, and was very helpful. Didn’t even try to sell me on anything too!
Nice to have the lift to work with and the free loaner tools to use. The staff is there to help you if you have any questions. You pay by the hour. And is a first come first serve.
This is a great place to go to. I wish that I lived closer to the Bedford/Hanscom AFB Area. The mechanics are very helpful and honest. I had some very bad experiences with other auto shops in the Boston area.I'm so glad that they were able to help me without draining my wallet.
I especially like that I can also do my own oil, transmission fluid, and differential fluid changes at a very low price of $5/hour and they even have all the tools you need to do this. I did have to bring my own torque wrench to make sure that the bolts were tightened at Honda's OEM specifications.
Veterans are not allowed on base unless they have service-connected disabilities. But contractors who never served can waltz in and out as they please. Pathetic!
Super convenient for base employees and residents. Got my state inspection for $35 in September 2023. Opens at eleven but they stop taking new drops at 1300 hours. They called me in about 2 hours to let me know I was all set. Base Exchange and food court is a short walk away for those that have to wait.
Worst customer service ever. Dropped off my truck at 8am for an oil change, fuel filter change, tires rotated and balance and a wheel alignment. I was called at 2pm by them to tell me my truck was too big for their balancing machine and that they couldn’t do the fuel filters either. I said ok and if my truck was ready for pick up, they told me no. They haven’t done anything cause they didn’t know if I wanted to proceed with the rest of the work. They didn’t call me cause they wrote down my number wrong even though the front desk verified my phone number again with me right before I left. I lost a whole day due to their complete incompetence. How do you not know what your equipment can or can not service. And you wrote my number down wrong?, really. I wouldn’t trust these people to work on any of my vehicles. Good luck.
Thank you for being open. I wish it were open on the weekends as well but I understand it not being open. The staff is professional, friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable!!!
Couldn't have had a better experience-- especially with the current events. Staff was nice, helped me right away and my car was in/out in 15 min.
Their doors are closed to the public, but they'll answer if you call them and send someone out.
Highly recommend for state inspection.
