Great sunsets.....If you are early...you can park and watch from your car....but pull up close to the rail as folks will walk in front of your car and block the view.... Buggy...so be prepared.

As a european I didn't like it, it is a wonderful view but it's not a beach where you go in for a swim, you have to walk about 20 minutes just to reach waist level water because it was a low tide. you have to be careful of crabs there are a lot and some are bigger than my fist. If u want to swim, go to the other side of Eastham where seals are welcoming you.

Phenomenal place to watch the sunset! We drove here twice and were blown away by the magical colors. Even our dog laid down and watched the entire show :)

This beach was located about half a mile from where we stayed while visiting the Cape. I read it was a great place to view the sunset and it surely did not disappoint. This was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. It just makes you forget all your troubles to enjoy these social moments in life. There is a small parking lot for the beach that probably gets pretty crowded during high season. The beach was actually quite crowded during the sunset and we came mid October.

We were so excited when we saw the sunset as soon as we got off the car! Great location for sunset view! Peaceful wave made you feel like it’s a giant lake instead of ocean. Sands are soft, water are shallow and clear. Love it and will come back again!!

Came at low tide and watched it roll back up, crystal clear water and if you’re brave enough- critters to catch!

Beautiful private beach. The water was ~85°. The sandbars go on forever in low tide. Watch out walking the shallow water... the fist-sized crabs are waiting for your toes.

Tiny beach at high tide. Soft sand, warmer water. Watched a group of young men head out into the water, each with a can or bottle of beer in their hands. After drinking, swimming and playing catch with their empty containers, only one can was brought back to shore. Sad.

Beautiful beach at dead low tide, you can walk far offshore onto the massive sandbars. Views all the way to Wellfleet, Truro & P-Town on a cleat day. However I noticed the ludicrously tiny, pitiful stretch of public Thumpertown beach at the high tide mark. Go an inch beyond the sign & you can theoretically be arrested for trespassing on a private beach. This is a problem not just in Eastham but almost all of MA...VERY restrictive public shoreline & limited access which makes for overcrowding. Shows that MA wealth keeps many people of lesser income away from the ocean, an antiquated practice. (With the exception of Cape Cod National Seashore & Nantucket, the latter of which has ALL island beaches open to the public, which is pretty amazing considering the magnitude of wealth on the island).

Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Not much beach space, but just enough to soak in the sun.

I love this beach it has a beautiful view. It's usually quiet and peaceful because of the limited parking which is so nice

Beautiful winter day on the beach. Very windy but great to be out in the sun.

Shore can become beautifully massive: While the tide is out, the shore seems infinite, which makes for some uniquely pleasent experiences. The area does of course become crowded when the tide is in, since it condenses as short ask 30 feet shore. Demands travel in steep stairway: Containing one entrance, this beach requires visitors to travel a steep, two-story stairway. Conveniently it has stirdy guard rails and a small observing point halfway down, for visitors to catch their breath and enjoy the view. On mostly clear day, the view exposes most of the cape's Bayside shores.
