We hired Bob for two towing jobs: one from West Warren, MA, to Rhode Island, and the other from East Taunton, MA, to Rhode Island. Bob arrived punctually for both jobs and performed exceptionally well! Thank you, Bob!
Called about 6pm to have car towed and truck jumped. Owner said he could tow car 150 miles that night for $900 and would jump the truck no charge. He asked what type of truck, i explained 2005 GMC Duramax. I told him it needs a lot of power, could he do it. He told me he a towing company and knows what he is doing. $900 is a lot, but we had to get the car home that night. He charged my card before he even left his shop
When the owner was on the way, I spoke to him and I told him we will follow him. He then told me then he couldn't drive it that night, it was too late. He would bring to his shop and drive down in the morning. I told him that we needed the car that night, that's why I was paying so much. It is a show car with modifications.
He said he would just do the jump for $275 and credit the $625. I explained that was a lot of money for a jump. He said he was driving 20-25 min to get to me and then drive back home. I said okay.
When he got to the truck, he didn't have jumper cables, we had some. Then he explained he couldn't jump it because i didn't tell him it was a diesel. I explained to him, he's the tow expert, I told him what the truck was, it only comes in diesel.
He told me he was still charging me the $275 for jumping the truck. Not only couldn't he drive the car home that night, he couldn't jump the truck because it was a diesel. (What tow company doesn't carry cables?).
I told him i would pay him $100 for coming out, he said no way....etc... The charge on my account went through for $900, so I've called my Credit card company to dispute.
I'm not an unfair person, but i consider this stealing.
Be very sure to get a quote/estimate first. I was charged $250 for a thirty-second hookup and tug sideways off driveway snow, 21" total. Also driver did not present a receipt (my fault) and would not mail me one because he said "that costs me money." Live and learn.
We drove our car off a small wall which put the car in a very difficult position. BT came right out and spent time carefully move the car into position to get unstuck. The man was extremely friendly and did an amazing job! We are very grateful. James and Miki
Gentleman came within the quoted time and quickly changed our RV's rear tire when it blew out. Very professional & very friendly!! He gave us several recommendations to be better prepared in the future. I would definitely recommend this business!!

Bob picked me up on the side of the highway and offered me a solution to a unique problem in my time of need. My car broke down in Massachusetts Tuesday and I needed to be back in Chicago by Wednesday. So Bob kindly stored my car for me while I figured out what to do with it and brought me to the airport late at night to make sure my trip wasn’t interrupted. This is the kind of honest family owned towing company you want to do business with!
My husband and I bought a camper and needed it towed, this man was so nice, we took a couple wrong turns and he was ok with it! Would definitely recommend!!!! Great service & great customer service skills! Very friendly as well!
Was given a 60-90 minute estimate of arrival. Then was told their tow truck driver was unavailable. So I had to be connected to a "sister company" and was charged an additional $100. Initially called at 10:00 am and did not get my car home till 4 am. Tow truck was also given wrong location which took even more time for him to find me. Would not even reimburse me for waiting so long.
truck died due to def system failing. james and his father came to my rescue and towed my 1 ton to lameroux ford in a flash. kind and friendly serivice. would recommend them to anyone.
This was a AAA call. AAA sucks with answering their phones but B.T. & Sons Towing was great. Even though i got my truck running and didnt need a tow, Bob was very professional and didnt give me a hard time about not towing my truck.
I had a great experiences having BT's pull us out of a couple of jams so far this winter season. They arrived earlier than expected very professional and kind to work with and they definitely go the extra mile!!!!! If you're in this area these are the guys to call!!
Very hassle free, no BS, straight & honest prices.
If you call most places they won't do it if the car isn't insured, or they will explain to you all the different fees for loading the car, tolls, $$/mile, etc.
Some people like the itemisation- but if you just want a no BS car towing with extremely fair prices- go to BT & Sons
Ran out of gas over the border in CT, they sent someone out right away and were so helpful! The woman who brought me the gas had me follow her to the closest gas station; to make sure I got there alright. Top notch customer service!
BT and Sons helped us out of a situation with our boat. They answered the phone right away and responded to our call quickly. We were given a reasonable quote on the phone and the driver arrived shortly after. He had good communication and our driver was knowledgeable. He was efficient and was able to tow our boat over 45 minutes away on a flat bead. We would defiantly recommend this company.
