After a minor snow-related slide-off in Georgetown, police called Trombly Bros without my request. They pulled my car back onto the road (no tow to a lot, no transport) and immediately charged $400.

At no point was I told the price. I was not given a choice of tow company. I did not sign or agree to any rate. Payment was demanded on the spot while I was shaken from the accident. Had pricing been disclosed, I would have refused and called my own provider.

Charging hundreds of dollars for a brief roadside recovery with zero price disclosure takes advantage of a situation where the customer has no bargaining power. Emergency or not, this kind of non-transparent billing feels exploitative.

If you ever have a choice, get the price in writing before they touch your vehicle — otherwise you may be stuck with an outrageous bill.

They charged me $400 just to pull my car out after it slid to the right side of the street and got stuck in the snow. The car only needed to be pulled out and left on the street. This price was extremely overpriced. The employee named Mark was very rude and had a lot of attitude. I have never had an experience like this before. This company was very disappointing, and I do not recommend anyone to go there. I plan to dispute the charge because when I called them about the issue, the staff was also very rude.

Mark was extremely kind helping me with my car and diagnosing the problems. He let me know all of my options to help me make informed decisions. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and sweet to my dog!

Stopped in to get a TNC inspection at 1215pm. The lady was very unpleasant and seemed annoyed I was even there asking. She told me I need to be in line by 130pm for the inspection. They closed at 4pm. A TNC inspection takes 10 minutes tops. She said they didn't have time. It was barely 1215pm. So I left and went to the gas station across from market basket and they did it in 10 minutes at their shop. Never stopping here again. That was a mistake.

Sophia was so helpful with getting the tow truck out to get my daughter off the 495 when her tire blew out and they were great at the repairs. Highly recommend!!!!

Trombly Brothers was recommended to me by a neighbor a few years back. Since then I’ve had all my state inspections, oil changes, brakes, and anything else car related done here. I can’t say enough good things about them. They are extremely fair with pricing, and stand behind their work. They’ve gone above and beyond what I have expected on multiple occasions. They’ve secured a customer for life with me. If you’re local to North Andover or the Merrimack Valley I would suggest using them. The staff is great, and the owners are always onsite and are very hands on. It’s rare to find a shop that is both customer service focused, knowledgeable in their craft and friendly. The Trombly brothers check all of these boxes.

Since I moved to the area I have been getting my car inspection sticker there yearly. They are always friendly, quick, and efficient. Today I ran into an emergency with my tire and drove there hoping they could help me without an appointment. They took my car in right away, plugged the tire, and I had me back on the road all in 15 minutes. Great customer service! Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good things! My daughter was in a scary accident. The tow truck drivers were courteous, polite, and efficient. The people in the office and the tow yard - from the day of the accident until we signed the final papers - were helpful and very kind. It made a bad experience that much easier.

Harold and the crew at Trombey’s are beyond top notch. Work was done right, and at the right price. Perfect place to service your car and my go to shop. Five stars all around!

I previously gave the place a 5 star and decided to change it to a two having into account the previous good service with the car inspection. I call for an estimate and was told on the phone that they dont do estimates via phone and to come in… after driving to the lot they told me i had to first do an appointment and later i would have the estimate, i loss my time driving there to have them tell me something they could have thru the phone.

I get my inspection sticker done here each year. This time around my car was rejected because my tires were worn. He showed me the tires from a better angle so I could see why they didn't pass and was very kind. I remember them being great last year too. Would recommend.

I highly recommend this shop. The Service was great had to get my sticker and the gentleman had to give me the rejection sticker. He explained to me why my car was rejected an explained what needed to be fixed. I went and fixed the 2 problems. I got back before he was taking his lunch he held off his lunch to pass my car for inspection. I was happy with the service and attention to detail to make sure my car was safe.

Only in town visiting was getting ready to hit the road back to NC found a nail in my tire. They took me right in and took care of it in a blink of an eye. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will recommend to friends and family in this area.

I bought Yokohama tires from Mark Trombly a few weeks ago. After researching which tires to buy I went with Mark's suggestion. I feel he gave me a terrific price and did a great job putting them on my vehicle. I couldn't be happier with the ride or dealing with Mark. I definitely recommend Trombly Brothers for tires

I got my state inspection done here. They were extremely accommodating and performed the inspection very quickly. The place was professional. Overall a great experience. I would definitely get my inspection done here every time.

Great work done for a fair price at a family-owned business. My brake job was done for over $150 less than the dealer's price. Thank you Trombly's, I will be back to get the rear brakes done when the time comes.

Went to Trombly Brothers to get my car inspected. Process was painless and organized. The staff I interacted with were friendly and the man who did the inspection allowed me to enter and exit my vehicle in the garage so I wouldn't get wet in the rain. They will be my new go to for car inspections.

Mark was so pleasant and responsive during our recent car emergency. He went above and beyond to explain the costs and process involved to resolve our automotive issue in a very timely and efficient manner.

My wife and I have taken multiple vehicles to Trombly Brothers and we have always received excellent service. If you are looking for a well run, honest, affordable, hard working mechanic I can not recommend this place enough. I can not say enough good things about the level of service that Mark and his crew provide.

My husband called Trombly Brothers really late on a very cold January night. Our daughter in law had a flat and was stranded, alone. AAA said they would not be there for hours...8 to be exact. The gentleman on the phone said they were very busy as all the other towing companies had said also. My husband explained the whole situation (we were out of state). He told my husband to hold on and called an employee that had just left to go home. He immediately went and fixed her tire and she got home safe! We cannot thank you all enough for going above and beyond. We greatly appreciate all of you. Thank you. I’m sorry it has taken me this long to write the review, however I didn’t forget what your company had done. I’m sorry I cannot remember the gentleman’s names (Carlos?) They are the best, they really care and it shows. Thank you again.

A great family-owned business, with wonderful staff, and mechanics, I'd highly recommend Trombly Brothers to anyone I know! Our service was quick, the diagnosis accurate, and we were on our way quickly.

Probably the most customer-focused auto shop I've ever seen!

Can't say enough. Was out plowing all day in my pickup truck, hit a patch of black ice and almost rolled it into a ditch. It was terrifying to say the least. Trombly brothers sent their medium duty tow truck. Not only did the driver get there in 25 minutes, but he had us out and safe in a matter of what must have been 15 minutes. Absolutely incredible work. Wish I got the drivers name because he deserves recognition for his skill and dedication. Again, couldn't be more thankful for these guys.

We have a shared history going back generations between my family, our cars and the excellent mechanics at Tromblys. I trust their integrity in dealing with me and the diligence of their work. I might be able to get it done cheaper elsewhere, but it won't come with the backing of 3 generations of providing quality service.

I went to them yesterday because of a loud noise in my engine. Mark quickly diagnosed it to be a detective part that was put into the power steering system. I was told to go back to the dealer who should replace it without cost since the part was only 4 months old. Mark is very honest and great mechanic

I have lived in North Andover for 20 years. Trombly's is without question the absolute best auto repair company in the area (and I have used many). You will have all work explained and priced, and these people (I have worked a lot with Mark) go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. They also take care of my wife's car and my daughter's car. I have never seen a repair shop run with such efficiency and integrity. Do yourself a favor and check them out the next time your vehicle needs service.

If you are in the Merrimack Valley this is the only shop you should be using. They are an honest family run shop that my family has been going to for years. They are always straight forward on needed repairs and cost. Even have been told my concerns were unjustified and to not spend money on something. A big thank you to the Trombly family for all your past and future help!

I called Trombly Brothers for an oil change.

I believe I spoke with Kelly... First impression over the phone, she was friendly and helpful. I told her we use Mobil 1 for the oil and she told me Mobil 1 was having a sale and I would get $15.00 mail in rebate. When I arrived at the shop I spoke with one of the mechanics and told him I had called earlier about the oil change, he was also very pleasant to deal with.

I walked in the office and first impressions, the office and the shop were very clean and organized. It's a car shop and things get dirty, but it looks like they make an effort to keep the place clean.

I waited at the shop for the oil change. During the oil change they check what's expected, they top off your fluids and check other things like brakes and air filters. It wasn't a surprise when they told me both air filters needed to be replaced. I asked how much for both filters and their price was reasonable.

I just moved to North Andover and didn't know where to go for the oil change. That morning I called four other places in the area trying to get the oil change. I didn't want to call Trombly Brothers because there aren't any recent reviews.

As I sat there waiting for my can to be ready I watched other people come in for various things and also heard the calls come in for towing services. Even when the shop was busy they handle their customers very well (including myself).

I could go on .... I've been to several auto repair shops over the years, some good, some bad and I know my way around cars. This is one of the better shops I've been to. They are fast, efficient, helpful and their prices are fair. I'm surprised there aren't any recent reviews about this place so I decided to write one as thanks for an outstanding service.
