It says all over the internet that you can exchange or get store credit purchased an alarm clock last night went there this morning because when I got home it did not work and they told me that there was nothing they could do receipt or no receipt that basically it's not their problem that it doesn't work

Not much to see here unfortunately thats most likely the name of the game when youre talking $avers as a goodwill or thrift style store is always a long shot for anything you're looking for when it comes to specifics.

Found these two unused house phones for only 3.99. Best savers ever. I have also found a Chromebook here for only seven dollars and it was in perfect condition. I also like how this savers puts low prices on basically everything, this makes the experience there a ton better. Thank you!

Everyone at the savers was so sweet and willing we love them so much they are our new best friends! And they’re all extremely attractive individuals we heart savers, thank you men who helped us load things into our car here we love our new three dollar blue dresser yayayayayayayyy and man in anime shirt and man in gingerbread suit, you’re all amazing. Happy holidays. ????????????????????????????

DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS HERE. They don’t include power cords with their electronics, so you can’t even test whether the items work. I tried two computer monitors — one have with a giant crack, and the other wouldn’t turn on at all. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

The store itself is fine, fun to go for an odd poke, but the folks running the donation center (volunteers?) are very unpleasant and snappy. Apparently also really don’t like it if you try to make their lives easier by bringing up your donations to their sorting bin yourself. You’d think they’d be more grateful to people literally giving them stuff to sell for free, idk.

They keep increasing their prices on used goods. They are pricing cups and plates knowing full well it's the set individually. Instead of the set costing $20, they're charging $5 each item. They used to sell sets!

I think this is my favorite Savers. All Savers have high prices (4 stars) - some stuff at TJ Maxx/Marshalls brand new is cheaper, but if you're looking for things to up cycle (I sew) or older things (my kids want old clothes) it's great. This is the most well stocked and organized Savers I've ever been to. Staff were really nice!

Always alot to pick through. Other patrons can be oblivious and rude but not at fault of the business.

It's pretty nice thrift store, real big with lots of deals. The employees are great too, made it a very pleasant visit.

Today they actually had a huge selection of stuff. Very very unorganized the clothes sizes were all mixed around.

This store used to be great for finding good deals and unique items. Unfortunately, likely due to reselling, Savers decided to cut out the middle man and sell at EBay prices themselves. It doesn't work that way, now stuff sits. I'll go in there and see things that were there weeks earlier, that never used to be the case. Even worse, things from Dollar Tree or other discounters being sold at two, to fives times, original new retail. Or occasionally flat out trash, empty cookie tins, soda bottles, etc, that are not antique, but can be bought new across the plaza at Market Basket, still full of food for half the price.

Used to be my favorite place. Everything was so overpriced. $10+ for stained, ripped jeans… $10+ for sweaters with stains and holes… How do you charge people that much for poor quality? Its called “Savers” you’re supposed to save right? Save yourself a trip and dont come here unless you’re trying to waste time

I've always loved Savers until today. Someone made the decision to eliminate the public restroom. This definitely will shorten the time I may shop and limit the money I will spend. It's a big store with many places to browse. I understand there was a reason, however, for every problem there are usually more solutions than just eliminating something like a restroom.. j

I love the book selection and the staff are friendly. However it always smells and there is no bathroom for the public anymore. I just think the building needs a deep cleaning.

Celestia I spent $10 on this husky flashlight then I go and buy d batteries for it and they told me that there's no returns on it. That's complete bullshit

My experience at the Savers in Danvers with an employee named Nick was absolutely unacceptable. On 9/6/25, Nick treated me with blatant disrespect. Rather than performing his job professionally, he condescendingly questioned the pricing of my items, implying it was my fault they were not marked correctly. Even worse, he grabbed items directly from my hands—an action that is entirely inappropriate for anyone in a customer-facing role. His behavior was rude, unprofessional, and left me feeling seriously uncomfortable. No customer should tolerate being spoken down to or physically handled in this way. Management needs to investigate Nick’s conduct immediately, as his attitude and actions reflect poorly on the store. If this is how Savers Danvers treats its customers, the community's trust will quickly be lost. I intend to notify corporate about this incident and request decisive action. If Nick is unhappy with his career path or future, there is no excuse to take it out on customers.

I used to go once a week and find great deals but the last few times I wasted my gas. The clothing pricing is what I can buy in the store for new and I find employees rude. I used to bring tons of donations but I just can't go there. The only compliment is the store is clean and organized.

i love this savers, but they’re out of their minds with the pricing. at this point i may as well go to goodwill instead, considering they resell things with price tags still on from goodwill, marked up.

I found the prices to be a bit out of resale range. Considering they are donations. But if you're 55 and older, you do get a senior discount. A huge downside to this particular store is that there are no dressing rooms. So you buy without knowing if it fits. The return policy is for store credit only. All in all, I did find what I set out for. Buying secondhand is great for the environment, and you can also find COTTON clothing. Something retailers have lost. Synthetic everything is ruining our culture.

This thrift shop for a 2nd clothes and etc. price is ridiculous high. Don't waste your time here if you want to save money on anything, especially used. Literally same price as TJ maxx or Marshall. Go to Goodwill or try other thrift stores. Not at Savers. rename it to NonSavers

I have been going there for several years now I went almost every week and I used to find great deals I also have donated hundreds of dollars of used and new products. Since a few years back prices was cheaper however it unbelievable some items from the dollar store is 3 times the amount. It really sad that the take advantage of people there are a lot of people looking for a bargain that can't afford to shop in a regular store because of their situation thinking they are saving money instead they are not. Some of their workers are rude almost pushing you out of the way before saying excuse me. It's just about money now and not the customer service ? sad sad

The employees at this location are completely rude and disrespectful. All the employees are rude unkind and always in my space when I'm trying to checkout and when an item does not have a price they always get defensive when I try to get a price. I have had multiple issues with employees and their attitude and invading my personal space. I will say the selection of items are good but the employees are terrible. Again While the selection of items at this location is generally good, I’ve consistently had negative experiences with the staff. On several occasions, employees have been dismissive, overly intrusive during checkout, and unhelpful when I’ve asked for assistance—especially regarding items without price tags. Their attitude often comes across as defensive and unfriendly, which makes shopping here uncomfortable. I hope management takes steps to improve customer service, as the store itself has potential.

Sometimes good things, but prices are ridiculous for not only regular things, but used or trashy items. It's cheaper to shop at Walmart or even target. Look at this wreath I saw in the DOLLAR STORE two days ago, and this used candle. :( I want to thrift but it's so expensive now

I don’t know where they get off charging $8-15 for used, out-of-style clothes that are donated to them for free, but it’s ridiculous. I used to love this place before Covid, but they’ve increased their prices too much since then. You’re better off buying clothes new for just a few more dollars. Goodwill will always be better.

You guys need to have cards accepted at more places than just self check out. I am coming into a store if I want to have someone else cash me out then I would like to. It seems like you’re making more than enough money reselling some of this stuff at ridiculous rates. Just tested out an electronic, electronic buyers be warned, they saw that it didn’t work and wanted it back on the shelves. So that they can make money off of somebody who doesn’t test it.

Overall really organized and clean store. The prices are pretty decent. Just love finding future treasures.

I am utterly shocked by the prices in this place. I’ve been to most Savers in the Boston metro area, and I have never seen anything like this. It’s absolutely disgusting that they are a FOR PROFIT “thrift” store, charging prices that are likely higher than what the products originally cost. How are people with less money supposed to afford these things? I would give it zero stars if I could. Shame on you, Davers Savers!!!

Saugus savers is very neat and clean. There were not a lot of household items on the shelves. Saugus Savers had very adorable 12 month boy clothes!! The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.
