Truly, these guys are great! I have been bringing my truck here for the past six years. They are very honest and upfront if there’s anything wrong with anything. Their services are fair and very good with communication. My wife has been bringing her car there for well over 10 years. And her parents have been going there forever.
Definitely if you’re looking for a new place to go to bring your vehicle, I would highly recommend Bridge St Auto. Their pricing for parts and labor is fair and not super expensive. Of course it depends on what you’re getting done.
Even if they have to order parts, sometimes your car has to stay overnight or other times they can get parts needed in the same day.
Sometimes what I’ll do is I’ll park my truck in the parking lot the night before, and then it’s ready to go for the next morning when they open up at 8:00am. They’ll suggest that a lot.
I even called them one time to have new windshield wipers installed cause I couldn’t get the old ones off, nor did I want to break anything. They charged me $20 to install new wipers!
The standard I always get is a tire rotation with an oil change and an inspection sticker. One thing to know is that they will not just give you a car inspection without getting an additional service.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Went in for ONE tire change, was very clear, even wrote it on the drop off slip. MIKE told us we needed the other back tire to be replaced. We said not this time but thank you for the warning. We came in to pick up our car and had both tires changed. OUT $600 when we were expecting $300. They are genuine scam artists. DO NOT GO HERE EVER
I’m sure they do great business here, but unfortunately I will never come back due to how rude the people working there are. I am new to the area and needed a state inspection so I called to ask how that works and and the first thing the man on the phone did was complain about how people come during lunch and asked me to not come at lunch. I respected that, so I came later in the afternoon when he asked and when I walked in before I could even finish my sentence the man interrupted me and just shook his head no. I told him I’m new to the area and asked if he knew anywhere else I could go and he just shrugged. Just don’t go here if you are new and need an inspection- you really shouldn’t be treating people who ask simple questions like they are an inconvenience .
They overprobed my truck trying to find what caused my rear lights to not function properly. A part that cost 75 dollars initially ended up costing $3,000 to fix what they made worse!
This is the best auto shop in the area in my opinion. They always explain what is wrong in very understandable terms and are not intimidating or condescending. Very honest and reliable!

Went in to get an inspection sticker on a new to us 2010 Grand Caravan I bought from a shady dealer, found out after we bought the van. They got me in looked the van over gave me a failed sticker for a check engine light that popped up after we bought the van and drove about 100 miles. And the muffler was leaking, he also wrote up for me everything he found wrong with the van that wouldn't affect getting the sticker and gave us the write up as proof for the lemon law. Great service great people their. Definitely will do business with them.
I have been here twice. The first time I just stopped by to see if they had time to do an inspection sticker. They did and they were very nice and quick. The second time I made an appointment for an inspection and an oil change. I dealt with the same man behind the counter who was super nice and had his mask on an everything. I have been happy with their service.
I am deeply thankful for all the help that Bridge Street Auto has done for me this week! Last week, my car was rattling and I went in and Mike was able to take it for a ride and ease my fears on the rattle. The next day he was able to fix it. I was told I needed new back break pads and roads as well as get a ball joint fixed. The next week, an appointment was available. There was a point in time where I almost had to pay an extra $500+ for two other parts, but the nice mechanics were able to fix the problem so my wallet didn’t hurt. They didn’t have to put in the extra time, but they did anyway. That alone, is the reason why I will continue to bring my car here. They pay attention to detail and they really want to help you. I moved to Beverly about a year ago. I've since gotten 2 inspections done on my 2015 Honda Accord. I also contacted Mike in regards to a blown transmission. He pointed me in the direction of a guy in Wakefield who did a great job. I've also had my tires and brakes done, as well as a front end alignment. All in all, Mike has taken good care of me and my Honda Accord.
Went to this place because I had a free oil change coupon and I also needed an inspection sticker. Told me that my tires needed to be replaced and I couldn't get sticker. Went to another place and got sticker without buying tires.
A great place to go to even if you don't know much about cars. I went to 3 different shops and this place was the one that didn't make me feel like an idiot. I had the pleasure of speaking with Mike, he was friendly and understanding and he gave me the full run down on my repairs. It was in the shop 3 days and he updated me every additional step of the way. Highly recommend to people looking to repair their vehicles to be able to pass inspection. I still have more repairs that weren't able to fit my budget but this is going to be the place I go to to get them done.
Horrible service the guy running the front desk is a complete a-hole and apparently doesn't want to work in life anymore. Failed inspection for unreasonable issues he gave an attitude when told I told him I would fix it myself. Beware of the scam and shop around before heading here.
NEVER get your car inspected by these shysters.

Took to another shop they passed.

For car repair, Bridge Street is where I call first. I've had several of my cars serviced and inspected there. Even my Mom's. They are always dependable, fast, courteous and have the cleanest waiting room I've ever seen. Mike is a straight shooter. I would recommend Bride Street Auto Repair to anyone.

If you need a good used car, go see Mike at Bridge Street Automotive in Beverly. I've been a customer of Mike's for several years for repairs, but this is the first time I bought a car there. The car was a great value, and had a new engine put in it. There was a hidden defect, and as soon as Mike heard about it, he ordered the parts and fixed it no questions asked. It was fixed extremely quickly. He even gave me a loaner car for the day. Mike stands behind the cars he sells. Some dealers mark up the cost as much as they can and haggle. Mike aims for the Blue Book value for private sale, not dealer markup sale. You can see his "Red Tag Sale" cars parked right out front. They don't stay there long. Smart shoppers see the value and the buy them quickly. I know this. I missed out on one Jeep, but I love my new Escape.

Terrible business. BEWARE. Do not take in for inspection.... will tell you things are wrong with your car and then tell you he can't let you drive it out until they get fixed.
