My husband and I have been using John several years now and have NEVER had a bad experience. He is honest, caring and patient. He just today he took care of a very rattled lady, (myself) whose key broke IN the ignition just when trying to start the car. You can imagine my shock. The bottom line is that John has taken care of our two cars quickly and honestly. If you have any about his service, just read the reviews. They say it all. Take your cars to Johns. He'll treat you right.

I bought my very first car here about four months ago. 2009 Hyundai at 66,000 miles. According to the mechanic I’ve had to take this car to, John spray painted over rust instead of fixing problems, and the warranty has long passed. I now need to spend half of what I paid for the car just to make it drivable. The rust has made holes that are irreparable. I knew the value on the car was too good to be true, and went along with it anyways. Going to avoid buying a used car from anybody ever again because of this.

This guy is an absolute putz. A friend of mine brought their vehicle in for warranty work. (Weird noise in the rear end) He drove it around his backyard, couldn’t replicate the sound so he scheduled the car in to tear apart the front end because he “insisted” that was the problem. I had her drive over 2 pot holes, I determined the noise was coming from the passenger side rear. Removed the wheel on a back road and found an old loose bolt sitting in the control arm. Problem solved.

This guy's people skills suck. I bought a car check engine light came on a week after I bought it back to him and then it came back on. Four times back and forth one time you lost my keys. I called him and told him the check engine light was back on he told me it wasn't back on have a nice day yet it's still on. I would not recommend buying a car from this clown. He thinks he's a Subaru expert but he's not

I hate to give people a bad review, but here it goes. I had bought in 2008 Subaru Outback 4,500 ask the gentleman kindly what the car needed as in fixing . He said all I needed was an oil change and it was a great car and he specializes in Subarus . . within exactly the 30 days of the warranty I had to spend $2, 000 on radiator problems, ball joint problems, radiator hos leak, oil leak,... and since then on I had nothing but problems and have put more money into this car then I have ever with any of my vehicles. Big lesson learn here don't be fooled! Never buy a used car ever again!

Just purchased a Toyota Camry from John's and I'm very happy with the experience!

I have been going to John's for a few years now. He has always been so fair and been truthful to me about everything he can be. He proves everytime that he's the best mechanic place you could find. He's a great guy!!! Thank you so very much John!! I dont know where I would be without all your help!! I came in not sure what was wrong thinking it was going to break my already broken pocket and all you had to do was take a quick drive and realize what was wrong. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I bought a used car from them. There were a couple of small issues that we had, but John stood behind everything and fixed it with no questions asked..

Owner won’t own up to his mistakes

I have been going to John's for years. He has always done a great job at a very reasonable price. One thing I like is that John will help you prioritize repairs meaning if something can wait a few months he will say that so you can budget certain aspects (I drive cars into the ground so there are always some things that could be done, but he helps me determine what I need right now vs what can be done later). My son just had brakes, an oil change and a CV joint done and it was very reasonable and faster than we anticipated as John had said they were somewhat backed up (which is certainly reasonable). Highly recommend his work and service.

Great service and great price

Absolutely the best! John is an honest man, that keeps his word! Absolutely great person, staff & provides great service! He sells awesome cars & goes through everything with a fine tooth comb! So if you want a great mechanic who won't rip you off and treats you like a human being. Then you truly found the last mechanic you'll ever need!

John was great to work with . Him and his team of guys got me in and out in no time. Way cheaper than the dealer. Over all a very pleasant experience. Would definitely do business with them again .

Bought a 2000 Tundra from here that he got at an auction and he told me he went through it and it was all set. Before I got it home, it broke down. When I called him, he already knew what the problem was and said good luck. In other words, he knew there was a problem and that I was going to break down, but still let me drive it out of his shop to get the sale. Cost about $2000 to repair at a different shop. Total Liar, Can't believe he is still in business.

Nice enough guy and knowledgable, but doesn't always tell you what's wrong with a car your buying or what could be wrong down the road. My brother ended up putting 2k into his 2008 subaru he got from here and I ran into a similar situation when purchasing from him too 5 years ago. Guess his business techniques haven't changed up since I was a customer and that's a shame considering he knows what he's talking about, just could be more honest of a mechanic.

Reasonable price but dishonest service. Owner is a slippery snake. Buyer beware. He can talk his way out of anything.

If I could give less than one star I would. Buyer beware. Look elsewhere for reputable used auto dealer.

Had my Buddy's car towed there

My wife’s car broke down while traveling from RI to NY and we had it towed to John’s not knowing where to go. They were fantastic. Took the car right away and treated my wife and daughter great while they waited for the vehicle to be fixed. I felt really relieved that we found such a kind and fair mechanic seeing that we were in such a dilemma. The charge was much less than I anticipated and they were back on their way. Would recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks.

Where do I start. I got the car back in June with in 2 days it was back for a check engine light then 4 days after that it failed inspection and was in for a week now it's August I have yet to make my 3rd car payment and I have a $5000 repair to do and am in the process of taking legal action save yourself the stress and don't go here John the owner is a crook and a fraud he doesn't honor lemon law with out a big fight and with my experience in automotive he show to be a hack when it come to work if I could give no stars I would
