Great customer service! I had ice dams and was told what to do and some advice with the process. I got some inexpensive roof bags and some ice melt. After following the suggestion we have no problem. Thank you. We will be back in the future instead of going to the big corporate stores! What a kind group of people.
Outstanding service from Kevin, who programmed my car key when virtually no other ACE would do this because I didn't get the key from them. They have a SmartBox programmer which can handle OBD programming. Charged a very fair price.
Upon entering was greeted by Ken Fernandez owner who was manning the desk to the right. Asked him a few questions about fertilizer which he answered and steered me to an associate in that area. Along the way I noticed bird seed which I needed, on sale 2 for 1. Another associate was called over as he knew more about that. I was thrilled with the knowledgeable and personal and polite service I was receiving. The whole store vibe was incredible. I saw a circular offering 25% off before I checked out. The outside associate happened to be nearby and handled the transaction. He was very nice too. So the 25% off coupon bonus was applied to the fertilizer. With the discount and the free bag of bird seed I saved over 25 dollars and got the best retail service experience I've ever experienced! Clean well laid out store stellar customer service! Easiest 5 stars ever.
I just went in to pick up an online order real quick and the cashier up front was a really pleasant person. Upfront had a lot of clearance items so when you want in it looked a little cluttered. But got a good deal on what I bought because when you download the Ace app you get $10 off your first purchase.
Customer service is top notch. Kevin and Christine go out of their way to delight customers, showing patience with a multitude of questions, and finding creative solutions. Can't recommend Fernandes enough!
Went in looking for a part for a toilet. Asking for help a gentleman not only took me to where I would find the part but also offered advice on fixing the problem. Very knowledgeable and helpful

The customer service is spot on! Greeted at the door with a cheerful hello, we headed to the garden center area. We must have looked perplexed, because we were immediately asked if we needed assistance from the general manager. My husband and I went in looking for an edge trimmer to deal with grass near gardens, but the trimmer we sought is no longer made. The GM walked us through our options and even opened a boxed battery-operated trimmer to show us the weight and ease of use. We were happy with the instructions he gave, and bought the trimmer. I have to say, it was our happiest landscaping purchase because to-date - the trimmer is safe, works great, and we got personalized instructions for it's use and maintenance. Well done!

First there was a lovely young lady that helped me find what I was looking for (a new grill). I was attempting to bring the grill home as a gift. As two staff members tried to get the grill in my car we realized it wouldn’t fit. At that time, one of the friendly Ace staff members arrived with his truck and offered to help. The staff loaded the grill and delivered it directly to my home. It’s so wonderful to know there are people out there that still want to help others.

Everyone has been friendly and helpful every time I go. Sometimes I go to just poke around because the carry some different and unique items you don't see at big box stores.
Shopping here was an excellent experience, I needed a custom made window screen for my son's room. I stopped in and spoke with Kevin who was very helpful. He asked me for detailed specs on the window screen and told me that they could build one. After a short time I was called that the screen was ready! Got it home and it couldn't fit better. My son and I will both be very happy to not be letting mosquitoes into the house anymore!

I hope folks can appreciate what it takes to keep a store like this in business. Knowledgeable staff, and excellent customer service is getting harder to find, not to mention its nice to have a place stock what you need rather than what they want to sell you. Manny's in Taunton closed. Let's make sure we don't lose anymore.

Bought a Weber Grill from Fernandes Ace, in person, and opted for the free assembly and delivery offered at the time of purchase. They arrived early in the morning of the scheduled delivery date and called my phone upon their arrival. The grill was assembled and left where directed without issue. Great experience!
I had two great experiences with Fernandes Lumber this past week. I needed a piece of plexiglass cut to size, and it was done quickly and brought to my car. I was looking for a weber gas grill, which not everyone had in stock. I also wanted it assembled and delivered, as well as having an old one hauled away. Alessandra (?sp) took care of my order by phone. She was extremely helpful and pleasant. Within three days, the new grill was on my deck, and the old one was taken away. It was such a great experience. I will be a regular customer of this store.
Went to buy. Grandma poison ivy soap? Best stuff in the world for poison ivy soap. Works great 10** went to 3 other ace hardware stores in 20 miles from home. Only Easton had it. Thanks big time.

Not as wide selection as Home Depot or Lowe's, but for a small neighborhood home center it has a lot. Employees are somewhat cold and unfriendly, and I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I go to checkout. But when I need something for a project in a hurry, making friends isn't a top priority. It's close and prices are reasonable.
I prefer to support local businesses whenever possible so I always stop at Fernandes before going to Lowe's. They usually have what I am looking for. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Since they are an Ace franchise their prices are competitive also.
What a great experience!!!! Went in there for the first time today to pick up a plastic kiddie pool, an inexpensive item, it wouldn't fit in my car and the gentlemen helping me said no worries we can deliver it for you. I couldn't believe it. That is excellent customer service. I will now use this store for any and all home and garden needs. Made my day!
Great staff, i walked in yesterday looking for a screw, showed the guy he took 1 second to look at it he's like that's a 8/32 machine scree, aisle 18 third row, i was like ? wow, great service
Some customer service. Still ten minutes till closing and they already set the answering machine to tell their hours and then it says thank you for calling. So much for knowing if they have what I need to I can plan tomorrow morning.
Lowes and Home Depot are better than that! Support them instead!
Very well run store. Wish they were open even a half hour longer to better accommodate townies that have jobs in the city, but still happy to be able to locally pick up 90% of what I need for about 5-10% than the big box stores when they’re open.
Have done business with Fernandes Lumber for over 25 years and have found them to go above and beyond in customer service. If they don't have what you are looking for, they can get it at a great price. No need to go to a big box store when this family business will take care of all your home needs. None better and highly recommend !!
I really like this place. I've only been a couple of times but both times they were very friendly and helpful. They also had what I needed when no one else did.
They have the worst business hour 99% of blue collar people like myself work beyond 5pm Monday threw friday that in just most people in general don't get out until after 5pm. And weather is not a hardware store other than Lowe's close by it is really inconvenient
