Highly recommend NOT using this store if you need anything for your vehicle. Terrible inventory system that clearly doesn’t accurately depict what they have in their store. Total waste of my own personal time.

If I could I would put no stars actually negative stars!!! Poor environment to shop in. The store was a mess and the staff were fighting with each other. The commercial department is a joke the staff there don’t even help. When I asked for help I was ignored by everyone and ended up just walking out. Waste of time here and Hyannis too. Better off going to NAPA or ADVANCED AUTO for better experiences and support for the Do It Yourself Job!

I had an issue with my car and needed oil added. I went in to buy motor oil and talked to one of the staff. He went out of his way to help me by checking my oil, showing me what I needed and adding the oil to my car! This was exceptional service and if I have his name right, it was Herca? It was such a relief to have help and not have to figure things out especially since it was hard to open the oil cap myself. I would definitely recommend this Auto Zone!

Went in the AutoZone three different times in three hours with another issue while working on my brakes! Obviously frustrated, tired, and annoyed at this point the same gentleman continue to help me Adam! My hats off to him he was patient calm and when we didn’t have the answer, he went out of his way to find it. Absolutely a valued employee and 100% appreciate he handled the situation.

Called the day before letting them know my alternator had failed which was still under warranty. I was told to bring in the defective alternator so they could test it. I checked with them to make sure they had a replacement alternator I could switch it out for. I brought my defective alternator in to be tested and extanged. No one there knew how to test the alternator and I was told they would not be able to give me a new one. After waiting 25 minutes watching two men trying to figure out how to attach the alternator to the testing device and failing to do so I had to argue my case to get a replacement alternator which I already had tested. I got my replacement alternator. They also tried to charge me for a battery installation kit that I never asked for. Don't shop here please.

What a life saver !!! The guy there this morning was nothing short of amazing. He knew exactly how to fix it so my battery would hook up right. I spoke to a few auto shops and even my uncle who knows a lot about cars and none of them knew. This guy at the store who grew up upstate NY instantly knew how to amazingly easily fix the problem. I will never forget this. THANK YOU ☺️

I went to Autozone to purchase wire cutters and tuck tape due to an unfortunate accident I had that damaged my entire right passenger side of my car . Deanna the staff member and Stan were amazing. I informed them why I needed these items and they went above and beyond to assist me. Their kindness knowledge and attention to my car matter was amazing I’d like to acknowledge both of them on this platform and greatly thank them and recommend this store location Regards Kathy Fazio

Aweful company. Ive worked in the customer service industry/management for years and NEVER have seen the way your two lady managers speak to anyone. Maybe schedule someone hours they can work. Cant expect someone to be there when they got kids to get on the bus and to daycare. People have lives outside of work.. people call out, people get sick.. life happens. the way I’ve witnessed your two lady managers speak to customers and employees is sick- deena and patsy. They need to be fired. Two of the most MISERABLE ladys ive met, and there managers .. smh. leave if you dont like your job. Maybe if you talked to people differently they might come into there shift.

I haven't been to this location since the last time I walked out after no one would help me, but this time I was at the registry next door to get my license plates so I dropped in to get screws for them. After I found what I needed, it was only a $5 item, I presented my credit card for payment and that is when the guy behind the counter said I should carry cash. I find it odd and somewhat rude he would say that. The staff at the Autozone in Hyannis are so much better than this location.

Motorcycle wouldn’t start... that is no way to live. Autozone ALWAYS has my battery in stock... 3 different bikes, 3 different batteries... service w a smile And five years later … still excellent service everything I needed and the kid working the counter knew his stuff Kudos to the manager for hiring Adam

Underwhelmed with the customer service today. This morning I went in to purchase low beam headlights for my car. I proceeded to give the employee whose badge said “assistant manager” the information for my car (year make model and version) and he handed me the bulbs his computer told him I needed. I went back to the house to put the new bulbs in and noticed they were not the same model and make as the old bulbs in the car. I returned to the store later that day to exchange them for the accurate bulbs and brought in the burnt bulb to confirm it was the right one. I showed him the bulb and he said “you don’t know what you’re doing, this is a high beam bulb, that’s not what you told me you needed” I explained to him that this was the bulb I needed, and this was the burnt out one. His reply was “you don’t know what you’re doing I don’t know what to tell you kid”. I was appalled being a 32 year old woman, and walked out of the store. Outside, while I was confirming these were the wrong bulbs, and employee stood on the sidewalk and yelled “you sure they don’t fit?” And I replied, “No, they don’t fit!” I took my business to Napa auto who immediately provided me with the bulb I needed, in their first search, I returned home, and replaced the bulbs, and imagine- the low beam headlights turned on. Turns out I DO know what I’m doing, and that also includes not returning to auto zone this store again.

I would like to shout out Neal @ Yarmouth personally! He helped my sister and I when our car broke down and was so polite and kind! He went above and beyond to make sure we could get home safely! He truly is the sweetest person I have ever met and I’m 100% confident I will met him in heaven!!! He makes you believe that there is still good in the world and makes you want to be the good. We tried to give him a tip but he refused and just said “That’s what us old people are here to do, help the young people. Just when you’re old one day pay it forward.” I love you Neal!! Thank you for everything <333

I went to Autozone is Sourh Yarmouth the other day to get a new battery. I asked an employee if they could put it in for me and was told NO. Then, one of the employees that was busy working on something else came up to me and told me they would be happy to put it in for me. I am a 66 year old woman who could not have done this myself. Chris S, the employee who put my battery in also ran a diagnostic test on my car to make sure everything was running smoothly AND fixed my windshield wiper that was put on backwards. I cannot thank him enough for taking the time to help me and being so pleasant while doing so. Thank you Chris. You are an asset to Autozone and they should feel very lucky to have you!

I went to the AutoZone in Yarmouth, MA to buy a new battery, only to find out that they would install it for me too! Christopher S (only saw the first letter of his last name on his name tag) was fantastic. Chris offered right away, came out with his tools, and we chatted a bit about what he was doing while he installed it. Even found out the battery cover had been installed backwards - and Chris fixed that too. More than satisfied with the service provided and left the parking lot feeling secure and happy. Thanks Chris and thanks Autozone!!!

Had a check engine light come on in my KiaCadenza and a few minutes later my low oil light. Had my oil changed at Cape and Islands Kia 3 months ago with synthetic oil. Checked dip stick and showed no oil. Doesn’t leak because car is garaged and no drips on floor. Went to dealership and said it appears to me that maybe oil was never added to full level. Asked to take a look and possibly read check engine light. The answer was “NO”. Went to autozone and was fortunate to get Chris S and explained to him was happened. Said he’d gladly read code and check oil. More than went out of his way and bent over backwards to help me. Code was related to low oil and he checked dipstick which showed nothing. Told me to buy a couple of quarts and see if changed level. Came out with me again put in oil and checked dipstick where it was on the stick but dirty and at a very low level. Said oil was never changed at dealership and told me to take it to them. He was a great help and I truly appreciated people like him. Thanks again Chris.

My daughter car engine light came on we went to this amazing place . The lady came out and ran a scan and helped us get what we needed . And to top it off we always have a great experience here . They are the best !!! Thank you auto zone

Today I had the worst experience in a car stuff store, I went to buy a wiper for my car and I was very poorly attended. A boy ignored my existence and went out to smoke, a very ignorant woman answered me and paid little attention to helping me, only a lady who was at the cashier was polite and asked if she needed anything. The only two employees present just wanted to know about the moment of being outside the store smoking, on the way out I asked the woman if she knew anyone to help me change the cleaner of my car and her ignorance made me see that she needs a unfortunate job. I'm sure I won't come back to this store anymore.

I went in today to purchase wiper blades. The lady at the counter did not seem like she wanted to be there. I asked for help finding the right blades for my car and was displeased with this ladies customer service skills. Another female came from out of the backroom. I asked her for help and she immediately took me to the wiper aisle and found the right blades. She then cashed me out and followed me out the door. She helped me install the wiper blades on my vehicle. Thanks for your help today Deana. You definitely made my experience a bettor one!

Poor customer service which resulted a loss in a sale and any future sales from me. I went in to get windshield wipers. No other customers in the store or at the counter. I asked if someone could put them on for me and she rudely said no we are short staffed and I would have to come back as she started to ring them up. I said never mind I will go somewhere else up the road. I went to Napa and they put the wipers on in less than 5 minutes. So customer service is really important . Management should make sure they have enough help and stress the importance of good customer service.

Old man behind the counter said "you have to open the keyfob to change the battery that's why we don't mess with them". Don't bother with this place, the other auto zone I went to was way more helpful and actually solved my problem. Must be nice to not help customers and get paid for it.
