Hey guys, perhaps read and abide by commercial code 16A-101. Police initiated tow doesn't NOT initiate a lien on the property inside. You must allow people to retrieve their property after an accident with a maximum charge of 20% of the tow fee. Screwing the public because you got a lucrative contract with the state, which is the public's money anyway, is disgusting behavior.

Irresponsible and unprofessional - if that can summarize them. This company has a roadside assistance service and they are registered with GEICO. My ill fate - I was matched to them when my car broke down. They don’t have the tow truck that was needed to move my car. So they kept me waiting for 2 hours on the road at night instead of canceling their call! I had to call GEICO to assign a new towing. I hope I’ll get a chance to report / give feedback to GEICO.

Excellent service and very reasonable prices. Being a visitor from out of town I thought would be treated badly, but it was just the opposite. I was treated like family. I highly recommend them for any of your automotive needs !!

Went there for a MD state inspection. Told me one of my brake pads needed to be replaced and failed me.... after I took to dealership 2 days before. Took back to dealership, and they found nothing wrong with my vehicle.

They were excellent. My air conditioning died on the way down to Ocean City. They got me in on a day’s notice and fixed it at a reasonable price and kept me updated. Thanks.

A HUGE shoutout to Bridge Auto Repair in West Ocean City, MD who came to our rescue this past week while vacationing in OCMD. Crossing the Route 50 Bridge I noticed my check engine light came on. I stopped in to see if they had time to check it out and they couldn't be any more accommodating. Luckily there was an Enterprise rental up the road so we got a truck !! for the overnight. Got a call at 10 AM the next day that my car was ready. Removed and replaced the solenoid/valve at a VERY reasonable price. HIGHLY recommend them and be sure to say hi to Tucker upon arrival.

Arrived to Assateage State Park campground check-in area Sunday afternoon after 3+ hour drive towing my fifth wheel camper. My truck had a fuel leak and was down for the count. Called Bridge Auto Repair and while they couldn’t help me on Sunday, they towed my truck in Monday and repaired within three days. Provided phone updates along the way and I just want to confirm they are GREAT to work with! Thanks Tracy and team!

Wanted to thank the people at this establishment for taking such good care of my daughter and her car. She was down in Maryland at a competition for my granddaughters, when her alternator went on her vehicle you all were very efficient and quick timing getting it fixed, so she could get back to Connecticut to her other child and me. I appreciate you and your establishment for such a good job well done. Darlene Cutillo.

Some businesses do a service and the customer leaves. Others go above and beyond the call of duty to make the customer truly happy. Bridge Auto’s owners and employees ALWAYS do exactly that. My daughter and I continue to bring our vehicles to this shop, and have done so for many years, without question!!! The experience is always positive. They are knowledgeable and anxious to help. Thank you, Robbie & staff, for all for your hard work and generosity. (Always enjoy seeing Tucker - their lobby activity supervisor 🐾🐾)

We have lived in OP for a little over a year and had to try a new business to us when we needed work done. They inspected so we could register with MVA, gave us a quote that was reasonable for replacing tires/wheels/driving light replacements. We had wheels shipped from eBay and tires from Tire Rack directly to the shop. Work was done within days of receiving the materials and lights replaced too. Very respectful staff and explained all work before and after and the price stayed the same. We have a few things we need to have done on another vehicle and we will most definitely be going back. We initially chose the ship because it was a local, small business and so happy we did.

I am a 65 year old divorced woman who has to rely in the honesty and kindness of strangers when it comes to my car. None to be found at Bridge Auto. If I could, I would give Bridge Auto a negative star for lying to me. They said the alternator was bad. Had them replace it cost $723.49. When they called to tell me my van was ready, I was told that the mechanic said van was 2 quarts low in oil, which I thought was odd, and asked me if I wanted him to put it in. I told them I had oil and would put it in. The first thing I noticed when I drove away was hot air was coming out of the left front vents, cold air out of the right. I had to be somewhere so I called them on the phone. “Christie,” who I have been told is co-owner, told me she had to talk to mechanic. She called back and I could hear the mechanic say in the background that replacing alternator has nothing to do with air system or a/c. I was perplexed, and asked how could that be when I drop it off with no problem, and had problem as soon as I turned it on when I picked it up. Was told again, separate issue and would be CHARGED for him to look at it. Something did not feel right. When I got home, I put the 2 quarts in van, and went inside to research problem. IN THE SERVICE MANUAL for my exact 2008 Honda Odyssey van, it shows and states that compressor tubes must be pulled loose to replace alternator. So they lied to me, then tried to get more money from me. My problems got worse when the next day, I start driving my van and once I got it on RT 50 it began backfiring, black smoke was coming out of exhaust, and power loss. I pulled over and called my retired Volvo Master Mechanic stepdad who said too much oil was put in it. I told him about the 2 quarts recommendation from Bridge Auto. He said, “It wasn’t 2 quarts low, and there would be no way to tell if it were. They were trying to squeeze you for more money.” He said go to Jiffy Lube and have them give me an oil change, which I did. When I told the Jiffy Lube guy what happened, he virtually said the EXACT same thing my stepdad did. They gave me an oil change. It gets worse. Jiffy Lube MANAGER told me to go to Atlantic Car Care in Ocean City to get “John’s” recommendation about it. Talking to those people was a nightmare. Go to Atlantic Care Car of OC Google Map Reviews for another terrible review. BUYER BEWARE of BRIDGE AUTO and ATLANTIC CAR CARE. They both lie and cheat. Don’t know about Atlantic, but after talking to many local folks in the industry, the consensus was that Bridge as NO good mechanics.

I took a weekend trip to Ocean City and my BMW decided to break down after I got there 170 miles from home. I made the decision to send my car home and stay to enjoy the rest of my weekend. AAA sent Steven from Bridge Auto and was extremely careful and professional loading my car on the flatbed. He even had ramps for my lowered car and was willing to park my car at the shop back where I live in Sterling, VA (3.5 hours). Great service and great attitude!

I needed to get my optima inspected because I was switching tags to Maryland from Delaware. I have never done a MD inspection so wasn't sure what it involved. I called Bridge auto repair and the lady who answered the phone was so nice and sweet. She squeezed me in for today (Friday). Dropped it off and even was greeted warmly by the most enthusiastic "employee". I attached his pic. Lol the inspection didn't take long but needed front tires. I was able to go get tires and return this same day to get it cleared. Thanks alot of making this otherwise stressful experience go very smoothly. @hanging_with_the_birches

I live in Baltimore and have a relative in Selbyville who could no longer drive due to health concerns and I was trying to sell her car. I had a buyer for the car in Berlin MD so I went to Bridge Auto to get it inspected for MD. I had been driving my car back & forth from Baltimore to Selbyville in an effort to sell the car. I took the chance the inspection would be done in one day but a part needed to be ordered and it would take 2 days. The team at Bridge Auto even tried different vendors and tried expediting the part to help me get back to Baltimore the same day. Unfortunately the part wasn't available any sooner. I was in a bind because then I had to leave the car but had no way to get back to Selbyville to my own vehicle. Rob the owner was kind enough to drive me back to my car in Selbyville so I could get back to Baltimore the same day. Now that's Customer Service!!! He tried everything in his power to do what needed to be done to help me. Rob is very personable and demonstrated his commitment to a customer. I knew I was in good hands with Rob and his team from Bridge Auto!!!!!! The inspection was done as promised, at the price promised, however, I was not able to get back to Ocean City for a little while to pick up the car. Rob was kind enough to allow me to keep the car on his lot. That was amazingly helpful and I am so appreciative!!!! After quite a few days I returned to pick up the vehicle that Rob and his team at Bridge Auto worked on to pass inspection. I thought the least I could do was offer to pay for storage time on the lot. Rob wouldn't hear of it and said absolutely not! I was in the customer service industry for over 25 years and that type of kindness and customer service is Very Rare!!! I am impressed with their friendliness, customer service and quality of work. Again I knew I was in good hands. If I lived in the area, Bridge Auto would definitely be my 'go to' shop! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done! They were amazing!!! Thanks Rob and team! Susan

Took my Audi to Bridge Auto. Had a Service Engine light and was idling rough. They pulled a misfire code. It was determined by them to be an injector. This was after they replaced a spark plug on the cylinder with the misfire and moved the caps around and having the misfire reoccur. So far so good. I was quoted $681 for this repair. While i felt this was incredibly high for this repair, they had my car for a couple weeks at this point and I was a repeat customer, so I approved the work. It was explained to me that they needed to remove the intake manifold to access the injector, which I was aware of. After another week I called to get an update and it was explained a clamp was missing from the injector and they needed another day. I then get a call from them telling me that when removing the intake manifold the mechanic broke the vacuum hose to the brake booster. This was not an issue before and was not part of the repair. The first person explain to me the I was going to be charged about $300 for the replaced of this hose that the MECHANIC BROKE. Obviously this didn't set well with me. After several minutes of speaking with her she put another person on the phone. I explained that I shouldn't have to pay for a part that was broken by the mechanic. I manage a motorcycle dealership, and we don't make customers pay for mechanics errors. Never in 37 years have we done that. Never in the history of me getting my cars serviced have I been charged for mechanic error. I was told that the owner would call me and talk to me before they continued, because i was adamant about NOT PAYING FOR THE MECHANIC'S CARELESSNESS. This was on a Monday. Then on Wednesday I call to get an update because I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE OWNER. I was told the car was all done and running smooth, and the bill was $980+ dollars!!!!! No call from the owner, and they charged me for the part the mechanic broke. No explanation as to why they proceeded, no call from the owner, not even an apology for the carelessness of the mechanic. The explanation was that a tiny skinny nipple broke and because it's plastic its fragile. So instead of taking care when removing the manifold, the mechanic was careless and broke the part and I got stuck paying for the part and the labor for his mistake. Think twice about bringing your car here. They lack adequate communication, show no remorse for their mistakes, and could potentially break or damage parts that aren't part of your repair and charge you anyway. RESPONSE TO OWNER The mechanic broke the hose. It wasn't a "brittle and weathered" piece of plastic. The vehicle is garage kept isn't high mileage either. You can't blame the vehicle for your mechanic's thoughtless removal of the intake manifold. Careless behavior that padded your pockets, and horrible communication from your shop with no explanation until you get called out in the review. You had plenty of time to reach out and you failed. Your failure to take ANY responsibility should be of safety and financial concern for anyone trusting your shop for repairs.

I was on vacation and my starter went. Rick was awesome. Towed my van, grabbed the part on the way back to the shop and told me to go enjoy the day with my kids. I got the call the same day, van was ready to pick up. I can't say enough good things. Would def go back if we were local. Thinking about scheduling service during our next vacation, I know I'll be in great hands 😁

Unfortunately, alternator went on my car while on vacation. Definitely the bad news. Good news? Bridge auto was fantastic. Kind and pleasant people, very informative, reasonably priced and did great work. So glad I found them. Thank you Bridge Auto!

Got a screw in my tire while on vacation. As stated in some other reviews they were able to do my repair right away and had me out in less than 30 minutes. Reasonabley priced and a good distance from Ocean City if you are vacation.

Had a flat tire on vacation at Ocean city. Scheduled appointment with BAR the next day. Dropped of car for 2 tires and a front end alignment. Received a call around 10, saying I needed a brake job too, I passed on. At 2:45 called to see when it would be ready to be picked up. Was told they would call me back. 45 minutes later i called them , we told they would call me in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later i called them, told then i was coming to pick up the car, forget the alignment. Found out they outsourced to another shop. Something they should have told me in the beginning in my opinion.

I was at OC on vacation and had a flat tire. After putting on the spare, I headed to Bridge Auto Repair which is AAA approved (I'm a AAA member). I thought I might have to wait a while for service, but the mechanic went to work almost immediately and did a very nice professional job of finding and plugging the hole in my tire. He then proceeded to put the tire back on the car (torquing it properly), put the spare back in place, and check the pressure in all 5 tires. I paid $22 for the service and was out of there within 20 minutes. Both the mechanic and the lady at the counter were very helpful. I was quite impressed with the prompt courteous service.

Had a great experience with this garage. I came down for cruise week and my exhaust fell off. Called the shop and they fit me right in. The mechanic went above and beyond on what I asked to fix and basically re-did my whole exhaust. Very happy with it. The price was way lower than what I was anticipating and very reasonable. If I lived down here I would definitely be going back.

Rip off center !!! They broke down your car even more then try to argue with you. Once they feel they gonna lose argument they make you pay cash only or they will not open their gate door. Specially if you have German. British car don't even try to give them a shut. They have no knowledge of how opening hoods of those car which ended up broking my dashboard switch and not willing to cover the damage they caused in your car. Will love to see more negative reviews for unprofessional rip off places like this
